Dade City, FloridaGreat location, comfortable lodging, great family time.
Left on 05/16/2013 for a stay in May 2013
It was our first time at Beach Haven Villas and we had a most pleasant Mother's Day week end. It was just the atmosphere we expected, friendly guests, lots of return
families, clean and comfortable lodging and convenient to everything. The one negative was the limited parking of one vehicle on premises per unit. However, there are options and we will be back... -

Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We stayed here this past weekend- 5 of us- in a two bedroom, two bath apartment- perfect location, lovely place, very clean, and just what we needed for a weekend away at the beach. This is a lovely little place between the hi-rise resorts, and it was just what we wanted- Peg let my daughter check-in for us on Friday afternoon, gave her a stack of beach towels and said "Enjoy" and that we did, kitchen well furnished, pool-side grill, gazebo with swing overlooking the gulf- dinner on the beach one night and a Rays win at the Trop the next- it was a lovely place and we look forward to our return-

We enjoyed the convenience and direct beach access in this retro-fun pearl of a place nestled in between big modern places. Beachhaven has atmosphere and character that make the stay unique and truly "Florida". Clean, cute, and comfortable with friendly staff and an easy going attitude. It is a quiet place with a small but lovely pool and limited parking, but just enough for guests. Housekeeping staff were very helpful and nice. We would stay again! Thanks Beachhaven!

Have stayed at Beach Haven 2 different times in the two bedroom suite. Always very clean. Staff is friendly. Pool area is very nice. We had kids with ages from 10-20 and all enjoyed the area. Having beach access is great! Walking distance to stores/food/and site seeing. We will be back!

2 bedroom apartment was exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly. Location was on beautiful St. Pete beach.
Accommodations were a little cramped for our needs and there weren't other families there at the time. Mostly adults only, which is why I'm not sure I would recommend to friends. -

marathon, NYA little slice of heaven
Left on 01/18/2013 for a stay in December 2012
After reading several great reviews and checking prices of other hotels we decided to book 5 days at the Beach Haven after Christmas and through the New Year with our two adult children. My initial call to book our stay was wonderful. Javita was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The 2 bedroom apartment was extremely clean and included all the ammenities represented on the website. The weather was in the low to mid 70's during our stay. The heated pool was warm and clean and the cleaning staff was wonderful and accommodated us with our every need. We have stayed in many places on the beach and this was one of our favorites and we will most definitely book a stay at the Beach Haven again in the near future. The best thing about staying at this little slice of heaven was receiving hotel amenities and not dealing with 100s of people. The beach access was great as that is where we spent most of our time. You are also within walking or short drive distance to many great restaurants, grociery stores & souvenior shops.

Left on 09/19/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Beach Haven is a terrific place to stay particularly for families. Our two-bedroom unit had enough room for everyone (two adults, two kids) with a kitchen for preparing meals.
We have family nearby, and this was the perfect way to visit them without burdening them. -

Kent, England U.K.Absolutely fantastic place to stay :)
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Beach Haven is as its title says "a little haven right on the beach", st Petes beach has a lot of big hotels along the beach and set amongst them is what we like to call "the little pink palace", we have had many stays in beach haven and been thoroughly over the moon every stay, it has never let us down as being the perfect place to stay while in st Petes.
Beach have is always exceptionally clean, tidy and well kept, all of the staff we have encountered over the years have always been very helpfu, friendly and willing to help in any way they can. It has a really nice pool literally feet from your own access to the beach. The apartment we had was very clean, and a perfect size for us. There are shops just a short walk away, and many places to eat a walk or a short drive away.
I really don't know what else to say about Beach Haven except, we spent our honeymoon at Beach Haven and would not stay anywhere else in st Petes, it's just the most prettiest, friendliest place to relax and have fun. Would thousand percent recommend Beach Haven to anyone.
Once again Beach Haven, thanks for a an absolutely fantastic stay, see you in two years hopefully :) x -

I have been staying at Beach Haven for years and this is a very nice famly place to stay at. Everything you need is walking distance... Putt Putt just across the street for the kids. The window covering and bedding matress can use a little updating but over all a very nice place to stay.
Jovita is very helpful to assist you with anything to make you stay pleasant..

Ft. WorthNice, but could improve.
Left on 04/07/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Don't let the word apartment fool you. It is very small, especially the bathrooms. Unit was clean enough but not pristine (bathroom floors needed more attention) the appliances in the unit seemed new but the furniture and decor was quite outdated. As for outside, the landscaping was nice but needed to be mowed. Several 'eyesores' sitting outside housekeeping room for all to see the 5 days we were there (buckets and trash cans). The pool was nice and well-maintained. The property offers beach chairs to take onto beach but they are only chairs, no lounges, and they are all rusted and coming apart. They also supply beach towels but one lady in the office said we were to use the same towels the whole time. She wasn't happy about giving us fresh towels. Also, there was no cleaning service on Sunday, which we were not informed about. We had put all of our used towels on the floor that morning to be replaced (as we were instructed to do) but when we came in from the beach, ready to shower for dinner, we had only a few clean hand towels, which we also had to use the next morning before heading to the airport, because the office didn't open until 9:00a.m. Beach Haven is located in a good area, very close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. All in all, Beach Haven is a cute little, nicely maintained place but could use a few minor improvements.

Perfect place for my kids, their friends, and me to just kick back and relax. They spent most of their time playing volleyball or walking the beach. I mostly read on the beach. I was glad to be at beach level; no high-rise stairs or elevators! We walked to several good restaurants, and good sight-seeing stores were just a short drive away. Good people there. Our one problem (a broken lightbulb that blew the circuit) was corrected immediately. I'm definitely planning to return.

We actually stayed in the delux motel room for a week and were joined by our family on the weekend. Our son and his family stayed in the 2 bedroom. We had a very special week. Our unit was very clean and comfortable and we were surprised to have maid service. The beach here is especially nice and we met many nice people. The location is perfect- close to lots of good restaurants. We prefer smaller places with charm and Beach Haven fit us perfectly.

Left on 11/03/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Appartments are very nice. We were surprised to have 2 bathrooms with a shower in each of them! Direct access to the beach makes it easy to decide were to spent the day. Only the street is a little bit loud at night, both with windows open or closed when your appartment is close to the street (which is not true for most of the appartments!).

It is a cute little hotel with really nice landscapingThe walls are thin do when you are in your room you can hear the neighbors clearly. There is not a lot of parking but it's right across the street from restaurants and a grocery store which is super convenient. The housekeeper was very nice. My overall opinion is that it's an average beach hotel.

Left on 03/09/2011 for a stay in February 2011
It was close to perfect for us because it allowed us to spend a bit of time together as though we lived in the same neighborhood. The children could swim in the heated pool and adults could visit together in the picnic areas. The outdoors is easily accessible, unlike high-rise buildings.
For handicapped visitors, it is important to note that every unit has a step of about 8 inches; our unit had two such steps. Some bathroom toilets have little leg room in front for long legged people. -

We've stayed at Beach Haven on St. Pete Beach a half dozen times, and have always been happy that we did. This is not a luxury, full-service hotel. What it is, is a fantastic value. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. The kitchens are nicely equipped. The pool is small, but lovely, and the beach is mere steps away. If you don't need to be waited on hand and foot, you'll love this place!

Hotel rooms were clean, staff was courteous. The grounds were manicured, but the outside of the cottages need some painting, the area around the pool and patios needs sweeping and cleaning, we were there every day and neber saw the areas cleaned, only saw the pool cleaned one time in 8 days.

Left on 04/22/2010 for a stay in April 2010
The #20 2 bedroom apartment was affordable for our 3 night stay. It was convenient and clean. The walk to the beach was pleasant. The courtyard atmosphere was calming and quaint. The only thing we didn't like was it was too noisy with the windows open because Gulf Blvd was so loud and if you weren't listening to the street, then the a/c was booming. If I stayed here again, I would request a unit in the middle or towards the back.

Now I don't want to praise The Beach Haven too much--I want it to remain the lovely little homey place it is--and I want to be able to get a room when I want! But...this place is the most lovely little tucked away flashback to the 60's that you'll ever find. Ok, it's not flawless--the bathrooms are small--it's not high class--BUT--it's small and intimate and safe and I can honestly say that I've never stayed in a more appealing place. The staff are the BEST...they're there with a smile and an offer of help if needed. It's extremely clean and tidy. The location? Excellent...IHOP is across the street, a supermarket/mini mall is a 2 minute walk, restaurants galore within a 2-10 minute walk. Please check out The Beach Haven on your next trip to St. Pete. It's a lovely place, stunning area with beautiful beaches...DO IT! The Super Shuttle from Tampa Airport is the way to go and the bus system for the area is inexpensive and takes you anywhere.
