Cragmere is a luxury Villa located on the Southeast coast of Barbados. Newly renovated, this private home sits on a cliff overlooking the blue Caribbean. Cragmere is located within walking distance to two of the best beaches in Barbados; Crane Beach and Foul Bay. The Crane Resort, a few minutes walk away, is world famous for cuisine, duty free shopping and their beach was ranked number one in the world.
Cragmere is a ten-minute drive from the airport. A 4-block walk takes you to Cutters - an English style Deli with sandwiches, pizza, as well as food and beverages. A 10-minute drive takes you to Emerald City - a large fully stocked American style supermarket.

Perhaps it was the amazing view we encountered when we first walked in, in addition to the physical beauty and comfort of the villa itself, but none the less, we were totally transmitted into a nirvana-like existence!! Every picture you will see on their website is real. The ocean view from each of the bedrooms is beautiful. For those who cook, you will have fun in the fully equipped kitchen and use of the outdoor charcol BBQ. Grocery shopping is a 15 minute ride away and at the Emerald City grocery store, you will find everything including the same brands you can buy at home. No need to pack a lot of clothes as you have the use of a washer and dryer. Each of the 4 air-conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans too, has super comfortable beds, and has its own spacious bathroom with showers only, no bathtubs. We loved having our morning coffees by the infinity pool and ofcourse, cutters rum punch out there at night! The house is managed by the magificent Maurva and Mavis, the wonderful housekeeper and together, they made our time at Cragmere very special. The only problem was, we had to leave!!! But I am already planning our next time back at Cragmere...and I'm sure you will too once you have the Cragmere experience!

What a wonderful way to spend time with family. There were lots of us...including grandchildren and we all had a wonderful time. The beaches were close, and the pool was wonderful with the kids. We were near the grocery store and with in walking distance of a wonderful deli. With a rented car we were able to see all sorts of wonderful sights in Barbados. Cragmere is a wonderful big house with a big kitchen and lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. It is well managed and the maid was wonderful. Cragmere has everything one could wish for.

We were in a group of 8 friends and had plenty of room and privacy. The villa was very clean and the view was breathtaking! It was within walking distance to the crane resort, where we had dinner one night. We also spent one day on the Crane beach. The house manager Marva was very nice and helpful in anything we needed. And Hilda came in and cooked one evening and it was very good also. We loved watching the black bellied sheep run threw the property or next to it every morning and evening. The pool and hot tub was very relaxing after a few of our outings each day. Watching the sun rise and set on the water was just breathtaking!

Cragmere exceeded our expectations! The property is very well cared for. As an extended family of 6 (ranging in age from 28 - 89), there was more than enough room for everyone. The living space was great, the bedrooms were very nice. The pool was lovely. The view was out of this world. Maurva and Mavis made our stay very comfortable. We found The Crane Resort close enough to walk to. Cutter's Deli down the road was a delight. They even delivered! The stairs down to the beach are very steep and for the adventurous. The beach itself is beautiful, though not a place to sit and relax, but rather to explore and jump over the waves. Overall, we had a great experience.

We were a mixed family and friends group - 8 adults. We were at Windemere, which is the sister property to Cragmere - both lovely. The arrival worked exceptionally well and the property manager, Carolyn, was there at the drop of a hat if needed. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces worked well - in good weather and bad. The beds were very comfortable and the air-conditioning in the bedrooms for sleeping was quiet and effective. We prepared some meals ourselves and used the cook available for a few evening meals - it worked extremely well having someone come in to prepare the evening dinner. The women who came daily to clean, Sabrina, was exceptional and very helpful for anything we needed. Frankly, everyone we encountered at Windemere were friendly, efficient and helpful.
The Crane is walking distance and there are 4 restaurants there - a hit and miss for quality. You need a car, we used Direct Rentals - good service.
All in all, a very good experience and we would do it again. -

I stayed at Cragmere Villa with my family - Parents and three girls ages 23-28. We all had a great time on this very relaxing vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help in any way, whether it be by arranging our excursions or just giving advice and information about Barbados. The property itself is gorgeouswith amazing views, plenty of areas to enjoy the scenery, and of course the beautiful villa itself. The pictures on the website are beautiful but they do not do the property justice. I would definitely recommend this accomidation to any group.

Without a doubt, one of the best vacations I have ever been on. As soon as we arrived at the airport we were met by our driver who took us to Cragmere where Maurva greeted us with hugs and a tour of the villa. It is absolutely beautiful - the rooms are large and airy - each with an a/C unit and private bathroom. Every bedroom faces the ocean and has a door to the outdoor living space. We walked to Crane for dinner and I couldn't help but compare our villa to staying in an overcrowded resort. The villa won hands down. I loved the privacy. The views are stunning and the breeze is amazing! I get overheated easily but 80+ degrees never felt so good! The infinity pool was beautiful and everything - from the house to the gardens - was well-maintained. I would definitely go back!

We had 5 couples at the house. It is beautifully decorated, spacious, and fully equipped. We thought we would eat out but once we tasted Hilda's cooking, we ate at home 4 nights. We were welcomed by Maurva, Mavis and Sabrina. We were so happily to find such wonderful people at the house. The pool was a great find. There is so much outside sitting that we never felt crowded. The Crane Beach next door has good restaurants and you can walk to them. Maurva arranged a driver for an island tour and it was super. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a great vacation.

I rented Cragmere for my 50th Birthday, five of us stayed here. It is the most relaxing beautiful villa, perched on a cliff overlooking the turquoise ocean, it really is Heaven on Earth!
The villa is spacious, beautifully decorated with oversize furniture that you melt in to. The 44ft infinity pool is just perfect, the constant breeze was so great we never even used the air conditioners! The staff were fantastic, friendly and so efficient. I have not told too many people about this villa as I want to keep it to myself!!! This is also a second four bedroom villa right next door, owed by the same family, if you have a large family, or a bunch of friends, renting the two villas is way cheaper than a hotel!! And every bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, which is so very handy. You are in between two of the most beautiful beaches (walking distance) in Barbados, Foul Bay and The Crane. Walking distance to four restaurants also at The Crane..but we only went out to eat once, our Villa was too hard to leave at night, and we just took turns cooking in our gorgeous granite kitchen!
I can't wait to go back, everything was just perfect.. -

I had the opportunity to spend a wonderful vacation celebrating a friend's 50th birthday at this beautiful villa. Cragmere Villa has everything that you could ever imagine and more. The grounds are beautiful, and immaculately kept. The management and staff are wonderful. The views are breathtaking.
It is within walking distance to the Crane Resort, Cutters Deli (a great place to eat), and Foul Bay (a beautiful beach).
The Villa has 4 gorgeous bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The attention to detail in this villa is incredible. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean. It is definitely paradise!
There was a new Villa beside Cragmere, Windermere, which was almost finished when we were there. It looks amazing also.
You will not be disappointed if you stay here. It is a luxurious, tropical paradise!
