Left on 04/14/2013 for a stay in January 2012
My husband and I stayed at this chalet January through end of March 2012 and absolutely loved it! A beautiful luxury chalet in a peaceful setting and only minutes away from downhill skiing, cross country ski and snow shoe trails.
The chalet is equipped with all you need. I love to cook and everything I needed was at my disposal. There is a fantastic grocery store only 10 min away and a decent liquor store with a nice selection of wine.
Cozy and clean, comfortable and very well situated, this is the perfect place to chill out and get away from life's stress! We cannot wait to return! -

Left on 10/28/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Stayed at this beautiful property for a relaxing retreat in October 2012 and would go again in a heartbeat. All conveniences are included and more! Excellent location in the forest but within minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, banks, and all matter of outdoor sports, especially ski hills. Help is always available when necessary as this cottage is located in a resort setting.

We've had a really nice week end at this chalet. The sauna and the spa were awesome. The neighbourhood is so quiet.

Doha, QatarPeter and Patricia's Great Relaxation Vacation!
Left on 06/23/2012 for a stay in April 2012
This was our second time to stay at Fiddler's lake and the first at Peter's place. To get there, we travel over 16 hours of flying and driving; traveling from the middle east. Stepping out of the car, upon arrival, we take a deep breath and begin to chill; usually when we travel to Canada it is because we are in need of serious vacation.
This place is great. There is nothing, except a few grocery items and some wonderful wine, that you need; all within a 10 min drive. Its just a great place to stay, to hike, run, bike, swim,...perfect.
We will definately return for another couple of weeks.
Thanks! -

TorontoExcellent vacation
Left on 09/13/2011 for a stay in December 2010
We stayed here over the holiday season in December 2010 with our children (3 and 7). We have nothing but great things to say about our experience. First of all, the log cabin is beautiful, in excellent condition and filled with the various ammenities that you would possibly need - full kitchen, laundry and a spa and sauna just out the back door. The cabin is spacious, in good condtion and well suited for a family or couples. Nearest town with a ski hill is just 10 mins drive with St. Sauveur with lots more skiing and shopping just another 5-10 mins down the road. Our reservation process was hassle-free and we were met at the front gate on arrival promptly and were shown all the facilities of the log cabin. Overall, our experience was excellent and made for a great family ski vacation. Would definitely recommend.

On espére y retourner trés rapidement.3

MontrealPerfect holiday get-away
Left on 06/05/2011 for a stay in December 2010
I spent 1 week at this chalet over the 2010 xmas holidays and it was fantastic. The check-in host made things very easy for us, she was pleasant, helpful and took time to answer all our questions. The service staff were also very personable and kept the property in tip-top shape including salting and clearing the walkway, and keeping the sauna and hot-tub clean and ready to use. The actual chalet itself was perfect for my family - heated floors in all rooms, great kitchen, nice bathrooms and a large open great room that was great for entertaining. My 2 year-olds loved the floors. :)

MontrealAn absolutely perfect escape from the city...
Left on 06/03/2011 for a stay in September 2010
We stayed at Fiddler lake last fall (just as the trees were beginning to change colour) and had just the best, most relaxing, and enjoyable time! I would say the top three points of our visit were
#3 The accommodations- big rooms, full kitchen, big bathrooms, bbq, etc. all very clean.
#2 would have to be the lake- even the walk there is beautiful - you really feel like you're a million miles from any traffic jam, and it was perfect for swimming!
#1 is quite obvious (unless you haven't seen the pictures)- the hot tub!I would actually say that we spent the majority of the time in "le hottub"!
Overall, nothing but great things to say about the place! Can't wait to go back again!
