We stay for 11 days in this lovely East Beach Villa. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. Well stocked, clean and just a step away from the beautiful St. Simons beach. The two bedrooms downstairs were so comfortable and each with it's own bath. Upstairs is open and roomy, comfortable seating to relax, watch TV or play games. We did it all on a couple of rainy days. The little town of St. Simon is loaded with fantastic restaurants. Some of the best Shrimp Ever!! Jackie left a great list of places to eat along with a little note about each one. Be sure to take the trolley tour and also visit Jkyll Island, fully of fascinating history. Thanks Jackie for letting us stay in you beautiful Villa. Loved It. Marilyn & Phil, Linda & Doug

Gladys, VAA wonderful, relaxing week!
Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We had a fabulous week staying at the East Beach Villa! The townhouse was extremely pleasant with many amenities and located within super-easy access to the beach. My husband and I travelled with another couple and both bedrooms had queen size beds, so we were both very comfortable. It was so nice to not have to travel with beach gear since chairs, boogie-boards, and towels were all included. When we weren't sitting on the beach, we were enjoying the lovely back porch at the townhouse. This place is going to become an annual destination for us!

Columbus, GAAbsolutely Beautiful!
Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My husband and I came here for a long weekend and could not have been more pleased. The pictures don't do it justice! Downstairs are two bedrooms and two full baths with a big covered patio through the bedroom doors. Upstairs is a big open room with a kitchen, dining area, and living room. The deck off the back is large as well and has several chairs and a table.
The condo is in a very nice area and is a short walk to the beach! The neighbors were very friendly as well. But our favorite part was how well decorated and spacious the condo was. -

Looks new! Great renovation. It is not right on the beach nor can you see it from the balcony but it is about 100 yards from the path to the beach. There are chairs and boards provided too! No pool but all we needed was beach. Great place to stay!

We were impressed, the pictures were true to the condo we stayed end, very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need. I liked that all the bedrooms were on the 1st floor and it had two bathrooms as well, The upstairs, had a front balcony and back balcony and on the ground floor were sliding doors to each bedroom both had separate patio area's, plenty of outside space. Location was great we were only a block away from the beach and a quiet area. The island has great bike paths, bring your own bikes with you or you can rent on them on the island, The tour trolley is well worth the price, very informative. The weather was great while we were there even though the day we left the tropical storm was heading in. If you are looking for a place to stay, this should be the one you pick, very nice. Just wish we had more time to stay, next time our stay will be longer, it is very relaxing you can as much or as little. If you like pizza Cj's is the place to go :) try the cupid's delight. Also, don't forget to stop in at Crab Daddy's you won't be disappointed.

Who needs Florida?! This place has more charm, natural beauty and is a third of the price. The condo was meticulous, comfortable, steps from the beach, what more could you ask for? I'd move here in a heartbeat.

The condo was perfect! Everything was super clean and decorated nicely.
The condo is so close to the beach it was easy to go back and forth with
our two year old. Everything that was needed was provided (beach towels, beach chairs, laundry soap, etc). We enjoyed sitting on the deck eating dinner and walking on the beach first thing in the morning. We can't wait to visit again! -

Left on 12/25/2011 for a stay in December 2011
We spent a peaceful, wonderful week in this place and would return anytime. The condo is clean and has everything needed to enjoy your stay on this beautiful island.
We did have a problem with the cable, and Jackie went above and beyond to make things right. We've stayed in plenty of places where the owners are, at best, non-responsive; that's certainly not the case here!
Thank you, Jackie, for helping to make this time for our family unforgettable. -

IndianapolisWonderful fall beach trip!
Left on 11/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011
My husband, 9-year-old daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on St. Simon's Island. The condo is clean, comfortable, and stocked with beach chairs, floaties, fishing poles, board games, and the like. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, if that's your preference. The beautiful beach is practically outside the door (no ocean view, but that was okay...we were on the beach most of the time anyway), and the village is a just a bike ride or short drive away. Recommendations for your trip, in addition to beach time: bike to St. Simon's Lighthouse and Museum, watch the fishermen/women on the village pier (they were caught stingrays and crabs while we were there), drive over to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island (great bike trails there too--saw alligators), eat at Southern Soul Barbeque on Demere Rd.

Macon, GASoft sand, homey touches, lots of space
Left on 07/06/2011 for a stay in July 2011
The condo is spacious, has an airy beach feel and has all the thoughtful touches (movies, books, three balconies, boogie boards, extra batteries, flat screen TVs everywhere, beach chairs). The sand is like silky powder -- perfect for walking! There is a lower level balcony off the bedrooms that has a complete privacy fence and our teens used that for their "smoking den." You park right at the front door so that makes loading and unloading a snap. You don't see the waves from the unit (another building blocks it) but you are just yards away.

Aberdeen, ScotlandGreat place to relax and unwind
Left on 06/06/2011 for a stay in May 2011
The accommodation was very nice, clean, well stocked with everything we needed during our stay, except had to boil water in a saucepan for our cup of tea in the mornings, as we are English and couldn't start the day without a cup of tea!
The sun on the back decking very warm throughout the day.
Really close to the beach and walking distance to town. When tide was out could walk to the pier along the beach. Sea very warm to paddle in, we didn't swim but loads of people did. Saw some dolphins and lots of pelicans.
Restaurants several very good, some within walking distance. St Simon's village and pier busy place where locals mix with tourists.
Weather was wonderful, a great place to stay, just what we needed to unwind away from everything. Thanks

I was apprehensive to rent anything online for our week-end getaway, but this was wonderful! The atmosphere is amazing and Jackie has put a lot of thought into decorating and making sure everything is comfortable and convenient! We really valued the restaurant guide that she provided as we were new to the area! Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you, Jackie, for a great week-end and we can't wait to return!

Lafayette, INSuper place to stay!
Left on 03/23/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We just spent a lovely 5 days on St. Simon's Island in this condo. It is as clean and delightfully decorated as the photographs suggest and is a mere few hundred yards from the beach. We had our 17 year old son and our 20 year old daughter with us and found lots to do...kayaked in the marsh, charter fished, hiked the beach and (my favorite) took our flashlights to the beach at night to see what lives in the sand at the water's edge...fabulous. It was early enough in the season that we didn't swim, but there were some people in the water. It was also very quiet and peaceful. The Pier is only a mile and a half from the condo and we walked there several times. There is dining even closer than that.
Our last morning, my husband and I went to watch the sunrise and were rewarded not only with a beautiful sunrise but saw a mother and baby dolphin swimming about 20-30 feet off shore.
We would recommend this place to anyone! -

If you are considering a rental in St. Simons, do not pass this property up! It is decorated beautifully, has every luxury, and it was sparkling clean. Literally, its located steps from Olive Way Beach access which makes it easy to spend a day at the shore and close enough to run back for everything you forgot! There wasn't anything that we needed that Jackie didn't already have there, we never even got in the car until we were leaving. All we needed was our food and clothes! Super luxe linens and gorgeous floors. This was a last minute trip for us, but Jackie was super easy to deal with and very prompt in her responses at all times(even Sunday morning at 8:00 am, she got back to me in minutes!) She even provided our beach chairs and beach towels! We are seasoned beach goers, this was the single most satisfying experience we have had renting property at any beach on the East coast. We are already planning our next trip, but we will be planning it on the availability of this property, we won't be staying anywhere else on St Simons! Thank you Jackie, for a great experience! P.S. The scented candles in the bedroom and greatroom are a nice touch!

My twenty year old daughter and I stayed here in lieu of staying on Sea Island Cloisters Resort and felt we had exceptional value for our stay. The condo was very nicely appointed and had most anything you would need (extra towels and bedding, even beach chairs). Emaculately clean. Nice deck for lounging, and close proximity to beautiful beach. Recommend sunset stroll on this beach. Bring your own coffee supplies if you want morning coffee the first day. And bring all condiments except salt&pepper;.

Had a wonderful stay. Owner very nice and always gets back with me very quickly. Very close to the beach. House is decorated beautifully and has everything you need. (Even beach towels and beach chairs) Absolutely loved staying here and hope to come back soon. The owners have thought about everything and even have menus to local restaurants. The beds and pillows are very comfy. One of the nicest homes I have ever rented. It is located in a great area and all of the neighbors are friendly and very helpful!!

We never needed to get in our car. We strolled the beach nightly, walked to the restaurants and loved sitting on the deck in the evenings and the balcony for morning coffee. The location is ideal and the condo had books, movies, flatscreen Tv's and everything we needed in the kitchen. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place for a weekend get away or a longer stay. Owners provided Dvds, paperbacks, board games, beach chairs, new high efficiency washer/dryer, plenty of linens, and all you need to prepare a meal if you don't want to eat out every meal. Park at the door, short stroll to beach access, easy walk to great seafood restaurants, and short drive to village stores or grocery. Kids were thrilled with easy hookup for gaming system in the bedroom and the large TV. Would certainly like to visit again and have already recommended to friends!!

Left on 05/31/2010 for a stay in May 2010
We stayed in this condo earlier this month, and it was very nice. It had recently been renovated, and had everything you could want. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck which had a grill. It is near the Coast Guard station. You walk out the front door and the beach is about 50 yards away. We liked to walk out on the beach at night. Fortunately, we had good weather. There are couple of excellent seafood restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a very nice weekend.
