The cottage is located on a beautiful, tree canopied lane, just four blocks from the beach (about a 10 minute walk) and a bike ride away from shopping and restaurants in the village and the water park. (One can walk to the village through the park in about 15 minutes.) The cottage has an open floor plan and is fully furnished in a bright, comfortable, at-the-beach style. There is a large screened porch in front to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. The cottage is pet-friendly so bring Fido and let him enjoy the beach too!

The Cottage is on the South side of the Island between the beach and the Village. Both are easily walkable and there are a number of good restaurants within a few blocks of the Cottage. It's a very walkable and bikable. The lots in this neighborhood are large and covered with live oaks and their beautiful, romantic moss, giving a nice sense of privacy.

Left on 08/06/2012 for a stay in July 2012
My husband, our 2 children (ages 2 and 7) and I felt right at home at this sweet little cottage on St. Simons. It was perfect for our stay and a great in between spot for us between the beaches we went to (first and east) and the restaurants and playgrounds down in the village. We rented bikes and got around mostly that way and biked to the coast guard museum and lighthouse. When we did drive, it was a short drive over to Jekyll island and a trip to the Sea Turtle hospital (which the kids loved). As a bonus, our skateboarding 7 year old loved that we were only 2 blocks away from a little skatepark and we all loved that we could bring our dog along with us for the trip. I would definitely go again!
