The cottage, built in 1991, has all that you will need for a great vacation getaway. You’ll love the open floor plan of the living/dining area with the pass-through window to the kitchen.
Since we live in the house for four months every winter, our home is sure to have all the comforts you would need. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality appliances, dishes, etc. The bedrooms have beautiful quilts, bedding, and furnishings. Located on one of the more tree-canopied streets on the island, our home will provide you with the perfect vacation getaway you have been looking for. The live oaks that cover this area give you the feeling like you are in your own world. Once you park your car under the carport in the back, you may not need to use it again during your stay.
We are in a convenient location at the south end of the island, just about a 10-minute (0.4 mile) walk to the beach and 15-minute (0.7 mile) walk to the village. We are also centrally located to many great restaurants and fun activities for the whole family to discover.
Cummings Lane is a very cozy, quiet, and peaceful location. It is only one block long with more people walking than driving. The trees and fenced landscape provide a sense of privacy and seclusion from neighbors. It is truly our favorite street on the island.

We spent 8 nights, and the cottage had everything we needed. Very convenient location. We brought our bicycles, which worked out great as the area is very bicycle friendly (for casual cycling).
We had our 11 month old grandson, and it was very convenient to have the crib and highchair. Saved us from having to bring one along, which would take up a lot of space in the car.
Art and Linda were very good to work with, and answered questions quickly. You can tell they really want all their guests to have everything just right for their stay.

What a wonderful place to spend a week and unwind and see the dogs unwind also. Art and Linda we're wonderful to work with and our thanks to them for providing a very comfortable place with all the things a person could possibly want or need. Our weather was not great so we got to spend a lot of time in the cottage, i.e., we never had the opportunity to walk to the village or sit, at night, on the front porch. However, no problems and no complaints! We will definitely come back to the cottage. It left a very good taste in our mouths.

We felt so much at home staying here! The owners were friendly and very helpful when making plans to vacation in a place we had not been before. The rental definitely provides much privacy compared to other places we saw because of it's location and fences that separate the homes all around. For those who love to walk everywhere and leave the car at home, this is definitely a place to stay. We walked often to town where there are many nice shops, and places to eat and be entertained. For those who like some adventure, we enjoyed biking around St. Simons as well as Jekyll Island to the south. We totally enjoyed our kayaking tour through the marshes out to the ocean. When we felt like the beach, it too was an easy walk mostly through enjoyable side streets. The rental itself is well cared for, spacious and comfortable. The separate bathrooms for each room made it very easy for all of us who stayed. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere of both the screened in and open porch. Definitely places to hang out, relax, and enjoy the live oaks that surround you. We are so happy to have found this place and look forward to coming again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage very much. The location was great - only a few blocks to the beach and a nice walk to the village. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had a very well-equipped kitchen with everything I needed. I loved just sitting on the front porch and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to the island. The owners were great to work with too.
