We had a great time at Tarah Malek's rental. There was everything we needed, even bored games!
We would recommend this to anyone traveling to St. Thomas and staying on the East end in Red Hook. It was such a beautiful place. One day I looked outside and saw a deer grazing in the back yard. We have plenty of deer where I live but did not expect one on a tropical island.
It was a fantastic experience.
My only complaint would be the bed was too soft, silly, but I like a firmer bed:)

I stayed at this condo for a week and upon arrival I immediately felt like I was staying at a friends place.. It was cute and cozy and had all the little touches that made me feel right at home. Spacious w a modern decor, it had everything I could need and more! Quite and peaceful, spotless and modern, I couldn't have asked for a better stay! And for the price it trumps most places on St Thomas. I would definitely recommend this little gem to any of my friends and family!! Thank. You so much!!

The Eastwind condo worked out fine for what we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and bedroom has a nice comfy bed. Tarah was great to work with. She provided a lot of information since this was our first visit to St. Thomas and St. John.
The outside grilling area that is shared looked really modern and nice too, but we didn't use it. Eastwind is in a pretty secluded spot so you will need a car or taxi to get around. We walked into Red Hook the day we took the ferry to St. John's and in 15 - 20 min we were there. Take a flashlight if you are walking at night.
The balcony porch was nice, but we couldn't see through the trees outside so we couldn't really use it at night to stargaze.
I gave cleanliness an average, because it could use some dusting, brooming and scrubbing in some of the hard to reach places. Noticed some dust and webs above the shower and animal fur drifted out from under the sofa. -

Tarah was a pleasure to work with. Given that it my first trip to Usvi, she timely responded to all of my emails and questions. Her condo was located right next to Red Hook, which made it very convenient to access the nearby beaches and ferries to St. John. The remodeled condo was clean and perfect. The kitchen had all we needed to cook on a regular basis. We enjoyed coming back to the condo to rest after a long day. Tarah was very accessible and she responded to all of my questions/needs within an hour while I was there.

Good location assuming you have rented a car. Close to the Red Hook ferry over to st. John and easy driving distance to lots of beaches. Not really walking distance into Red Hook. Bed is very comfortable and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. If you want to be within walking distance to a lot of action this probably isn't the place for you but if you want a nice quiet clean place that is a good value for your money I would recommend staying here.
