    Katmari is located on Peterborg peninsula, a two-mile strip of land that creates the northernmost edge of the island of St. Thomas. The peninsula is easy to spot on any map of the island, it's the northern arm of beautiful Magen's Bay, a geological remnant of St. Thomas' volcanic past. Peterborg peninsula creates one of the most beautiful beaches in the world-at least according to National Geographic- the famous Magen's Bay beach.

      Simply awesome

      We stayed at Katmari last week. We were there with our young daughter and another couple. The place is simply fantastic. The views are spectacular (we whale watched right from the deck(s)) and the house is clean and offers all of the amenities of home (including a house-wide stereo system/DVD player/movies/additional poolside stereo, just to name a few). The house is located approx 5 minutes from Magens Bay, and perhaps 15 minutes from Charlotte amalie. It is in a gated community, so it offers a sense of additional security. The owner was unbelievably good with communications and answered all of our questions both before and during our stay. We'd return there without hesitation and would certainly recommend it to anyone.
