Amazing holidays in this typicall house surrounded by nature, a nice swimming pool and outdoor jacuzzi. We can regret the level of wifi and tv installation, and the lack of acoustic isolation into the house.

Spent a couple of days here with friends. The location is perfect for a real get away. The medieval village has such character but despite the cheek by jowel position of the houses ones privacy never seems a problem.
The facilities are fabulous with the pool and hot tub in constant use while we were there. We had a great time. -

The McGrath's cottage is a charming and characterful retreat in the midst of rural France. Situated in a small village in the mountains this group of houses is the perfect location for families or groups of friends who want to get to know this beautiful part of France.

Great place, great view, close to local market with wide bio produce, if you want to be close to nature but have the comfort of civilization this is the place. Only potential issue for some is the very spotty mobile phone reception, depending on your carrier

Burbank, CaliforniaAn unforgettable experience, which brings most pleasant memories

I still find myself smiling when I think about my vacation in Cevennes, in the Charming 17th century stone house. We were very happy with the service received. Muriel Mc Grath is a very caring, pleasant woman, who made sure everything is set for a most comfortable stay in this truly charming house, paying attention to every detail. I was there with my friends and their child, and it is a great place to vacation with children, as well as 2 families, who can comfortably stay in the guest house. The beautiful, lush chestnut trees all around, the peace and quiet makes one only recharge. I loved it there so much I decided to go back when I get married, on my honeymoon. Therefore, it is also a wonderful place to spend some romantic time with your other significant. I have traveled much around the world, however, my vacation in the Charming 17th century stone house in Cevennes is one of the best memories in my life and I highly recommend it to everyone! The house with it's character and history... is like going back in time, with all the modern day amenities.

La Canada, CaliforniaQuintessential French countryside

We had the most amazing time in this region and especially in this home. It is truly charming and historical. From the ambience to the fresh food and farmer's market we felt at home and spoiled at the same time. There are so many great places to visit that are near by (ie: caves, hiking, villages, ruins) but we especially enjoyed just staying "home" and relaxing in the perfect place. Muriel went above and beyond taking care of us and making sure our stay was amazing. We look forward to our return someday soon. A bientot!

Relaxing to say the least, charming place out in the country. Nestled in the hills, I had the chance to unwind and experience a very restful vacation. The residence was more than expected and the pictures don't convey the feel of this special place. Very quaint with beautiful garden and pool. The residence was very clean and fully equipped. Quiet little hamlet with few neighbors but everyone was so nice and friendly. I do recommend this wonderful vacation spot and will return very soon!

Magical, peaceful setting in the heart of the Cevenne in southern France. Wonderful for families or large groups with the main house and annex. Pool and grounds are lovely. You don't want to leave! Many things to explore and do in the area.
