Right in the heart of the village, just a few steps from all the shops and at the feet of the slopes, Les Fermes de Ste Foy 4* Residence in Sainte Foy la Tarentaise. Set on the edge of the Vanoise national parc, at an altitude of 1550 m to 2620 m, Ste Foy is an enchanting, tranquil haven. The charm of old Savoie traditions prevail in the architecture where local stone and wood blend perfectly with the surroundings. It offers great ski in winter, as well as numerous opportunities for walking, mountain biking and other activities and a half-day guided walk is offered free of charge to our guests.

Right in the heart of the village, just a few steps from all the shops and at the feet of the slopes, Les Fermes de Ste Foy 4* Residence offer a high standard of accommodation and free use of a lovely heated indoor pool and sauna, jacuzzi and steam room and a fitness training room in the ?Mountain Spa? centre, where you can also pamper yourself withBody and beauty relaxation and treatments at the Centre Spas & Beauté Montagne payable as an extra .

Opening date: from December the 17th 2010 till April the 24th 2011 . The 4* Residence is a medium size with 70 apartments, in 5 connecting chalets with reception .

In the Reception there is a sitting room with Billard and an open fireplace , where you can browse a selection of daily newspapers for reading in the lounge, and Left luggage , Ski lockers, Messages service and weather forecasts are also available. Reception also have a loan service of games, raclette (local cheese speciality) and fondue apparatus and electrical adapters; Children?s equipments: cots, high chairs, bottle warmers, safety plug protectors (upon request, subject to availability). NB 1 cot + high chair maximum per apartment . There is also Internet with wifi at the reception and in apartments .

There is Underground payable parking (Maximum height 1.80 m) .

There is a Fresh bakery service available at reception before 8.30am (booking before 6pm the evening before) and a Breakfast hamper and Caterer service with an outside partner.

We have a selection of apartments sleeping 4/6, 6/8 and 8/10 people.

Here is a the description and price for the Apartment for 4/6 people, which is 50 - 60 m² and is sometimes in duplex.

The living room has a pullout bed settee to sleep 2 people, satellite TV, telephone and WIFI access.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with multifunction oven, ceramic hob, cooker hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, electric coffee maker, kettle, mixer, pressure cooker and toaster.

End-of-stay cleaning is included except kitchen.

There is one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds. Beds are made on arrival for you (except pullout sofa beds but sheets are in the apartment) .

There is a bathroom with bath and heated towel rail and hair drier. Bed and bathroom linen and tea towel are provided .

There is one toilet which may be separate or in the bathroom.

This apartment has a balcony.

WIFI access in all apartments. There is a lift to get to the apartments.

Other outdoor facilities

Wide open spaces, exceptional routes such as the Monal or the well known north face of the Fogliettaz, Sainte Foy Tarentaise is the perfect spot for nature and ski enthusiasts, whether you are a snowboarder, telemarker or skier.

You can explore on foot or snow shoes if ski is not your thing. Take one of the mountain paths that winds its way through the pine forests to one of the charming alpine hamlets like Le Monal, Le Planay or the Sainte Guerin chapel. Snow shoes can be rented from the ski shops at the resort.

You can also be guided by a professional from the ski school. The cost is 20 to 35? per person, depending if you take half a day or a whole day.

SNOWBOARD lessons: For adults and children from the age of 8, the cost varies between 137 and 159? depending on the period and if you take the classes in the morning or afternoon.

OFF PISTE: Ste Foy is famous for its off piste, whether on ski, snowboard, telemark, there are slopes for all levels. ESF Sainte Foy has created a « Pôle Hors Piste », a group of instructors specialised in off-piste guiding. The group is devoted to this activity, their knowledge of the terrain permits them to adapt their outings according to the natural conditions and your experience, maximising your pleasure and safety. They guide you on descents both virgin and wild, taking in stunning main and tributary valleys, and can introduce you to the pleasures of heli-ski. 1 day: 290?.

Hikes and walks for all levels. Mountain biking: it is the spot for "freeride" in the Haute Tarentaise. Tennis, volleyball, rafting, paragliding...

Les petits trappeurs, for children aged between 3 and 11. Activities include: sledging, making snowmen, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games? The cost varies from 107? to 212? for 6 days, whether your child will stay all day with meal included, half day with meal, half day without meal.
