Melbourne, AustraliaGreat apartment in a great location
Left on 11/28/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Had a week in this apartment in October and really enjoyed it. It is spacious and modern and has a great outlook out to sea. It was a pleasure to open the window and enjoy the sounds of the sea and the gulls and the hooter of the ferries as they arrived and left each morning. A lovely beach only a few steps away and access to the city wall right on the doorstep.
We were four adults and used all three bedrooms which are very comfortable and there is an upstairs bathroom and a downstairs toilet. A lock or latch on the bathroom door would be useful. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a washing machine and an espresso coffee maker.
The booking and paying process was easy, Wendy speaks English and at the end of our stay she very kindly gave us a lift to the train station.
St Malo is a very interesting place to visit and within reach by bus of Mont St Michel. Dinard and Dinan are also lovely places to visit, all within reach by boat or bus. -

We had a 4 night stay at this property in June 2012. The service was excellent and the booking and related details were handled with efficiency.
The property was very clean and comfortable. It is a nice touch to have some basic provisions in the kitchen ( tea coffee etc, even Nespresso pods- Thank you.
The location is perfect for exploring St. Malo and the surrounding towns.
We hope to stay again. -

Melbourne, AustraliaThis apartment exceeded our expectations in every way, location,

This apartment was without doubt the best value we have experienced over many trips to Europe and the UK.
Right from the first enquiry we had prompt and friendly responses. We were met by Wendy at the station and taken to the apartment where she showed us where everything was and how things worked. It was spotless and there was nothing we could want for.
However, there was more. The view is outstanding, looking over the harbor and the location right beside and inside the city walls allows you to roam the old city at your leisure.
There is a very handy little convenience store only a couple of hundred metres away, where you can pick up a baguette and milk and a good range of basics.
There is a nespresso machine in the apartment with a good range of coffee and a very nice bottle of cider, a speciality of the region. We bought another bottle from the delightful supplier in the town. There was a card with the name and address in the apartment .
Overall we would recommend the property without hesitation.
We also recommend the area. St Malo is a beautiful walled city with many great places to visit in the near vicinity. Whatever you do, don't miss a visit to Dinan a beautiful city about 20ks away which can be reached by river boat or local bus
There is a great creperie on the wall overlooking the water only a short walk along the wall from the apartment, very reasonable and delicious. -

I would highly recommend this apartment. The location couldn't have been better. Everything you could possibly want on your doorstep. Facilities and cleanliness of apartment very good. Loved watching the Portsmouth ferry dock every morning.
Parking in the basement is a bit tight, even with our Mini!!! - can't understand why you need a garage within a garage! However, to have any parking is a big bonus. -

Brilliant location, right by the beach. A cozy and stylish accomodation. Feels very lived in with a lot of attention to details, which make all the difference. The view from the living room is straigt onto harbour. Wish I had more time to stay there. Dina & Co

My husband and 15 year old daughter and I stayed three nights in June 2011. The rooms were spotless, beautiful amenities and decorations, could see the sea from the bedrooms and living area. Five minutes from the fort wall where you could see magnificent sunsets. Wendy took the time to pick us up at the train station and see that we were settled. Very relaxing and had all we needed for a luxurious stay.

We booked by phone and paid by creditcard after checking out details with Wendy (who speaks perfect english). When we arrived, slightly early, we called and she met us at the appartment and showed us the carpark underneath the building. We had complimentary supplies of espresso coffee (for the nespresso machine) and local cider.
We easily found bread, milk, cheese etc at the casino store one block up the street and enjoyed exploring the walls and walled town, able to return with our young daughter for naps when we needed to.
Amazing windows looking across the walls and harbour give views of the tide and boats coming and going and sunsets, loads of restaurants, cafes, patisseries and shops make it a great spot to stay. Price is great for a group of 4, cheaper than a hotel with better facilities - even internet access was included. -

My wife and I with her parents and brother stayed at this apartment for a week in June. We were very pleasantly surprised! The location is fantastic, in the old town, with view of the harbour. The apartment is very well equipped, and everything was in very good condition. A fantastic location from where to explore st malo, or do day trips to the surrounding areas! Underground parking also included!

This is a beautiful apartment, in a stunning location. You can see the sea and watch the world go by below, but still feel you`re in a special and private location. Bars shops and restaurants are literally round the corner, so too the beach. St Malo is stunning, with so much going on. I stayed with my two teenage daughters and we all loved the place, and had the freedom to `do our own thing` without straying far from the apartment. It`s beautifully appointed with everything you could need, and Wendy was a joy to arrange things with, from start to finish. Efficient, professional and charming to meet. We`d love to go back.

My wife and two children (13 and 11) stayed in St. Malo for four weeks in June and July of 2010. The apartment was very modern, well-equipped, clean, comfortable, with all amenities and in an absolutely fantastic location.
We have stayed in France many times, and this was our very best experience. Wendy was very helpful, an exceptional host. We had the option each day of staring at the sea, enjoying a home cooked meal or walking a couple of blocks to fantastic dining. St. Malo is charming, and full of shops, restaurants, and every variety of things to see and do. The light in St. Malo is brilliant, and we will never forget our walks along the ramparts at sunset. We will come back again and again. This is a true gem.
