If you are looking to get away from everything, if you need a break from the stress of work and the city then look no further. St Privat is hidden away in the Hérault countryside, not too far from a town and with plenty to visit around the area but with just the sound of the cicadas when you are here.
Our gite is available all year round and we are on site as we live above it !

Our village is one of three, all authentic, sleepy, beautiful villages, nearby you also have the Pont du Diable and the Lac du Salagou for swimming etc and the famous village of St Guilhem Le Désert and the wine producing village of Montpeyroux. Montpellier is 50 minutes drive, Pezenas 40 minutes and Lodéve 20 minutes.

if you are looking for the perfect getaway, you have found it here. St Privat is all that you dream of in a french village, and more... we had the most wonderful stay - walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside, stopping for dinner at the local restaurant, watching the sunset over the hills and fishing for shrimp in the village stream. On our last day we had the most memorable picnic of local bread and cheeses, rose wine and figs hand-picked fresh from trees in the village. And to top it all off the host family are a delight!
