Mas des Bambous is a luxurious 4 bedroom farmhouse located just one kilometre from the centre of the wonderful village of Saint-Remy-de-Provence

The Mas has been restored to a high standard with a very large living area, a superb kitchen/dining room and 3 modern bathrooms. The house is a beautiful old stone building from the 1700's and enjoys quiet surroundings in a beautiful country setting.

The 4 beautifully appointed bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provide superb accommodation for up to 8 people in style. The house will actually sleep up to 10 people fully utilising the double sofa beds in two of the bedrooms.

There are two quee...n size bedrooms with the main bedroom having its own modern en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms each feature single beds along with double sofa beds allowing up to 3 people to sleep in each of these bedrooms. Air-conditioning is in each of the bedrooms.

The quality furnishings are typical of many French country homes combining the modern with antiques and the hand-made tiles makes Mas des Bambous a special home away from home.

The house is situated on 5000 square metres of land with electric gates, plenty of parking, manicured lawns and beautifully maintained gardens. There is an elegant 14 metre swimming pool and the added advantage of a superb outdoor pool house and summer kitchen with plenty of undercover seating to enjoy dining by the swimming pool and the views of the gardens.

The Mas has all modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi access, French satellite TV/DVD player, iPod dock, American style refrigerator, high quality espresso coffee machine and beer dispenser.

Mas des Bambous is located just one kilometre from the centre of Saint-Remy-de-Provence in the beautiful Alpilles region.

St Remy is one of the most highly regarded and popular villages in all of Provence with a fine selection of shops, fashion boutiques, cafés and restaurants alongside the typical Boulanger, Boucher and other shops selling local produce.

The Roman village of Glanum and the beautiful St Paul Mausoleum where Vincent Van Gogh was interned during his stay in St Remy are a couple of minutes away by car.

The Mas is situated in a peaceful location yet just a short walk to the historical centre of St Remy. It would make a perfect base to explore all of Provence if you can find time to leave the tranquillity offered from this superb house and location.
