The apartment is in the villa previously owned by the famous St Tropez Artist "A. Vachon" situated in a very quiet estate with it`s own entrance and private garden,also secure private parking in St Tropez. near the 'Place des Licies' and the Port. The famous 'Tahiti Beach' with its bars, beach restaurants and beautiful people is a ten minute drive away. The picturesque villages of Ramatuelle, Gassin and Grimaud are close by. The Tuesday/Saturday market is the most famous on the coast attracting' the International Jet Set'. selling everything from fruit and veg, designer clothes and antiques. We stayed for 4 nights in april, were greeted by the house sitter who showed us round and explained who what and were things were.
Dealing direct with the owners was a pleasure emails texts and phone calls were answered in a professional and jovial way.
The rental was very clean and tidy situated in a secure domaine with easy access to the town (5 min) walk. The flat has excellent wifi, TV (French) and stereo along with a varied selection of books.
The fact there was parking for the car and given this is in St Tropez was excellent and we saved a small fortune on taxis to and from the port.
Would defiantly recommend to family and friends and would defiantly book the flat again.
Five stars all round!

We have stayed in St Tropez several times, initially in hotels. The increasing prices and falling pound caused us to look for rental accommodation. After trawling the internet we decided on this apartment and have now booked for the fourth year running.
The situation is ideal, in a secure private road which is accessible only through locked electric gates, opened with a digital code which is changed regularly. Parking, immediately outside the house, is therefore secure and free, unlike in the town where parking is very expensive and often impossible to find at the height of the season. The area is peaceful but the restaurants, bars and shops of the Place des Lices and the port are only a 5-10 minute walk away. The beaches of Pampelonne are a 5-minute drive away and can be easily reached without going through the town.
The apartment is large, with one twin bedroom, a modern bathroom with bath, shower and WC and a bright and big lounge/dining-room with a queen-sized double bed and well-equipped kitchen area with breakfast bar. Patio doors lead onto a patio and attractive private garden – the owners have a separate garden on the other side of the property. The garden gets the sun all day. Garden chairs, table and sun loungers are supplied.
The apartment is spotless and the aircon efficient. Although there are only two of us, we consider the apartment would definitely be suitable for a family of four.
The cost is reasonable for the area and the friendly owners are extremely helpful and keen to please. We happily recommend this apartment.Response from Jeanne Holmes - 04/09/2013
