      Great family landing spot

Left on 12/27/2012 for a stay in November 2012

My family has visited the Boston area several times, usually staying with relatives. But now that we have three young children, we wanted to make sure we had our own space without inconveniencing anyone else. This apartment was a great option for us during our week-long visit for Thanksgiving.

We received a whole packet of visitor information and maps along with keys to the condo, which was really helpful and appreciated! The first afternoon we were there, we walked to the corner grocery store and picked up a few things for our stay. We also spent several afternoons exploring Pickering Wharf, Salem Common, the Witch Museum, and the Maritime Historic Site. We were lucky to have lovely weather to enjoy shopping and dining.

Everything about the condo worked really well for our family - three adults, and three small children. The bedrooms were good size, and there was plenty of space in the living room and dining room to relax and keep the kids occupied between family visits. The neighborhood was quiet and located just a few blocks from the police station, which was a nice comfort as out-of-towners. Wi-fi was a welcome touch! There is no dedicated parking spot for the property, but it was never hard to find a space a few yards from the front door. My only criticism was that the beds were a bit hard for our liking, but we were so busy during the days that we all slept like babies, so we hardly noticed!

Salem was the perfect area for us to stay and was convenient to our family in the suburbs and for taking trips to the Downtown Boston area. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

      Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Left on 10/26/2012 for a stay in October 2012

If you are looking for somewhere to stay that has all the accomaditions of home and everything else within walking distance, then look no further! Arthur will provide you with a cozy place to rest your head at a very reasonable price, in a safe and secure neighborhood. We will definitely be looking him up next time we go to Salem.

      ok but suggest elsewhere!!

Left on 06/13/2012 for a stay in June 2012

my family and I stayed there a few weeks ago..admittedly the unit was very clean, convenient and very reasonable especially for a 3 noc stay..we found the lack of privacy very disconcerting..i.e. we left a hall light on when we went out to help us get home safely after a walk only to have it "turned-off" after we left ..likewise we were disappointed to have the dishwasher running when we returned from our travels..which suggested yet another visit by the owner while we were not there...strongly suggest owner seriously respect privacy of guest if he/she is serious about serving the public.

      Best Trip Ever!

Left on 12/02/2011 for a stay in October 2011

This is the ideal location if you want to stay in Salem. My family and I came up for Halloween weekend and were within close walking distance to everything. The condo was nice and cosy and felt like home. There were four of us and we had no trouble with the space unlike hotel rooms that are extremely crowded just for two people. Additionally, this is the second time we have rented from this owner. He made sure we had everything we needed and communicated frequently throughout the process. I would highly suggest this to anyone visiting the area. We even lucked out and got a few inches of snow that weekend!!! It was a perfect trip!

So clean, comfortable and the owner was very kind

Left on 04/13/2011 for a stay in March 2011

My advice to anyone visiting Salem is to stay here. The condo was spotless and very comfortable. We had an episode the first night we arrived as we all locked ourselves out accidently. The owner was rung and immediately came to our rescue. We found arthur to be very kind and thoughtful as all the supplies were provided for. If we lived in Salem we would want to live in the condo as it was so nice.
If anyone has a family or is travelling with friends, check this place out instead of paying such high prices at a hotel. You will not be dissapointed.

Again...thankyou, you helped make our trip a wonderful experience.
