This luxury cottage enjoys wonderful views, on the Isle of Mull, and can sleep up to four people. Starfish Cottage is set on a hillside and enjoys wonderful views of the Sound of Mull, on the lovely Isle of Mull. This charming cottage has one bedroom with a four poster double bed, and a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. There is also a sauna. The kitchen is well equipped, and the sitting room has a sofabed, dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside, there is a decked area with furniture and a BBQ, as well as off road parking. Ideal for a romantic break or simply for exploring the terrific walks and stunning scenery of the Isle, Starfish Cottage...s makes a super year-round retreat.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, library of books, games and DVDs. Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Salen, a small village on the Isle of Mull, is perfectly placed for exploring the island. Salen has two hotels, a coffee shop and a restaurant, and both the ferry terminal and islands capital town are around 15 miles away. There is great walking in the countryside around Salen, as well as mountain biking and pony trekking. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Holiday in Heaven! you won't want to go home!

  The holiday starts when you get on the Ferry to Mull from Oban, you can relax and look at the amazing scenery. When you arrive at Craignure, turn right and drive for approx 5 miles and you come to Corry Farm, up the drive and your there! there are 4 cottages but only 2 were occupied our week,
  The cottage has a utility room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board, brush, mop and bucket.
  The kitchen is huge and has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, cooker and hob, coffee machine and kettle, only problem was only one roasting tin for the oven and no wooden spoons.
  The living room has 2 chesterfields, a log burner, dining table, tv has freeview, a dvd player, a music centre with ipod docking station.
  The bedroomhas a lovely 4 poster bed, wardrobe and drawers and a hairdryer and clock radio.
  Bathroom is amazing, Jaccuzzi bath which I wanted to take home is heaven! a way too posh shower that takes ages to fathom out, but nice when you do! there's also a sauna which is very nice and it has a cd player in it.
  you have 2 gardens, front and back that get the sun all day, patio set in one and a swinging double seat in the other.
  the front garden has a view to Die for, I could sit there forever watching the wildlife..
  the back garden has high hills up behind you, and a forrest down the side.
  we had a Golden Eagle flying round the cottage one day, a Sea Eagle another day, Deer, woodpeckers, cuckoos and Buzzards are everywhere, and rabbits.
  The whole Island is wonderful, so many things to do and see, you can get fresh Mussels from the Mussel farm on loch Spelve, fresh fish and Scallops from Salen.
  The Spar in Salen is the best place to shop, the one in Craignure is more expensive, and the co-op in Tobermory is good too.
  it is wise to take plenty of meat with you for the freezer as there isn't a butcher on Mull, and the choice is very limited.
  There is also a building in between the cottages that has logs in for the log burner, and you can store bikes and canoes etc in.
  A day trip to Staffa is a must!
  mobile signal is very intermitent too, most of the Island doesn't have signal.
  all in all Starfish cottage is wonderful and has everything you could need, and we will be going again, I can't recomend it enough!!
