Description from the owner
(My website is goagagaholiday.weebly.com)
Where would you like your house to be? Not right in the middle of clamor but close enough to the flagships and comfortable living? We thought the same when we bought GOAgaga, a spacious, luxe one BHK villa-apt in Aldeia Siesta, a newly constructed building with a fresh design and open podiums that houses 18 villa apts in Saligao, Bardez, North Goa.
The building is within a 24x7 security kept gated compound with an enticing private pool (and a baby pool end) for you to indulge whenever it suits you. It's extremely safe for families and unchaperoned ladies.
The house is fully equipped...Read more

Additional Location Information
In the heavy warp and weft of your life Saligao lets you experience a rustic heritage village to chill in North Goa within a 3 km drive from Calangute, the Queen of beaches.
Sal means 'wooded forest' and gao means 'village'.
You'll totally fall in love with the smooth undulating roads that lead to Saligao - a heritage village nestled in paddy fields and coconut groves. The maze of its roads are perfect for a morning and evening bicycle ride.
The 125 year old Mae de Deus parish church with its Gothic architecture is a sheer pleasure to gaze upon. Walking around it one would sense an unusual peace not usual elsewhere.
Cantare, a provincial tavern in a restored old mansion, is an adorable pick for a nocturnal roll. Nibbles and grilled delish rosemary and honey-glazed BBQ chicken capped with your fave drink couldn't taste better in the ambience of live music and kindred folks.
The African origin Chicken Cafreal soaked in the soft juices of the green masala is touted to be one of the best in Florentine - an interesting eat out very close by.
Fifty meters from GOAgaga you've some fine-dining awaiting you from Presa di Goa owned by a gentleman from Luxembourg. Place your order in advance because they cater to limited people and the freshest produce.
The famous monsoon festival Bonderam marked by gaiety and tradition and a lot of folk singing and dancing is hosted in the picturesque Divar Island perched in River Mandovi, and is a gracious neighbor to Saligao!
After all the fun and frolic you've a reason to indulge in the Ayurvedic Massage and Therapy centre which is close to the location.
The sylvan pleasures don't override the feasibility of a practically convenient stay for you in Saligao at GOAgaga. There are enough grocery stores to cater to all your requirements and a high-end supermarket is a just a fifteen mins ride from there. Home delivery joints selling decent Goan fare with excellent ambience are close by. There's medical facility and pharmacy in the vicinity too.
No wonder this pastoral paradise was home to the renowned late artist Francis Newton Souza. It inspires you and prepares you for that true Goan siesta, oh so well!

On walking in you are greeted and shown around by Rakesh the caretaker. Very warm and courteous. We were at home since then. The location of the apt/flat is perfect for those wanting to run away from city life. Perfect to laze around or do nothing. We cooked most of our meals at home (oops at goagaga). All the basic utensils were there right from the pans to spoons, induction cooker, fridge etc etc. Even a washing machine was in house along with an iron and ironing board (who wears ironed clothes in Goa:) )
In our 3 weeks of stay we did not switch on the TV even once !!! So cannot mention about the telecasts but there is a tatasky connection as well.
To summarise it in one word perfect
To conclude in a few words we will be back soon
Thank you Ginza (Goagaga) for allowing us to be in your wonderful home.

U.KPerfect, Peaceful, Homely Place
Left on 03/18/2013 for a stay in January 2013
My husband and I stayed at Goagaga in January 2013 as part of our honeymoon and it was the perfect, peaceful, home from home place we were looking for. From the moment we enquired about Goagaga , Ginza was amazing, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic time. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The pool is a communal pool however we pretty mush had sole use of it during our stay. There are a few local shops where you can get most things and anything they don't have they could get for you. We had a few days chilling out by the pool and then did a bit of sight seeing and went to the beach. If you want to get out and about you really need either a car or moped. We had a moped that Ginza had arranged for us. We really did have the best of both worlds, quite village life yet beaches and sightseeing just a short distance away. We prefer not to stay near noise and at the heart of the tourist area so this was perfect for us, we felt like we got to see a glimpse of real Goa especially while scooting around on the moped. We truly did have an amazing stay and can't thank Ginza and her team enough.

Left on 03/10/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This was the first trip to the GOa, both for my wife Disha and myself: we were careful about choosing, so we had visited so many websites, before making our decision on which hotel to stay at...Finally we had decided a beautiful place -Goagaga!
We love interior of the house. Everything was so clean and beautiful. It was beyond our expectation. Kitched was fully equipped so we can cook at any time. All items were nicely placed in Bed room and drawing room. Niranjan - Security guard was supportive and Sarita - housemaid, she was cleaning whole house everyday. She was cleaning this house as her house ! Swimming Pool was also nice and clean. So, I would like to say - "home away from home".
Personally, I am really thankful to Ginza who helped me to plan this trip and gave all details on places, food, and other location details about Goa.
Finally, this was once of the best vacations of my life. We will definitely be back asap and have started sharing our experience with our family and friends too!

This was our Every year trip and we planned to rent a house to stay instead of hotel. We were a little worried at the beginning while booking (as this was our 1st experience). On reaching Goagaga I was more than pleased. The house well maintained and well thought thru. Ginza has done a a very good job in organizing all the necessities and organized things at this place in a very well thought over fashion. As a host she will keep in touch with you and all her staff there are very courteous and helping. They will accomodate your requirements and see to it that you are happy. (reasonable requests)!!! Over all we had a good stay, my main concern was travelling with a small kid, but my trip was comfortable and more like at home! Ginza, did an amazing job with being a perfect tour guide and telling about many places to eat, see and Shop... Over all... I would love to stay there again!!! thanks to the Ginza and Team

I must say Goagaga is it! It was more than i expected and believe me, i didn't have low expectations! The place was really terrific. It was comfortable, functional and really homely. And the staff were great and went all out to make us feel comfortable. They were punctual and always there when you needed any assistance. The location was quite serene and away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. A real getaway for families, honeymooners or the hopelessly tired. Proximity to the beach or other parts of Goa was no problem as we easily got cabs whenever we needed one. Overall, i think I loved the functionality of the place best. The amenities you require for a perfect getaway were available and working so i felt all at home. A truly memorable experience.

it was truly one of my best experience as far as holiday homes are concerned. The villa is very well maintained and comfortable. We were little hesitant about the idea of vacation in GOa with our one year old kid, but the moment we reached Goagaga, fell in love with it. its a small but beautiful apartment with all the facilities one can require with small kids, Its amazingly managed by Ginza. It was a pleasant stay throughout the duration. Location takes little time to get used to the routes but its very convenient for those who want to stay in peace. How can we forget to mention the care taker and maid available there. They will always be ready to help you with a positive attitude. We would certainly like to be the guest of Goagaga again.

Thanks Jack!! Kindness and heartfelt words appreciated. Yes, I'll see what can be done about the sign board. I guess there has to be a bigger one further toward the main road besides the one at the fag end.

Left on 12/06/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We had a lovely time at Goagaga! On getting there we instantly felt at home. From start to finish everything was taken care of. The house is so thoughtfully done up, keeping in mind anything a guest could possibly require. I loved the little thoughtful touches- like the handwritten book of recipes by the bed. We really appreciated Ginza's suggestions on what to do/see/eat in Goa- they made us feel at home in an unfamiliar place. Our stay at Goagaga was definitely a highlight of our trip and we can't wait to go back!
