This is the perfect tropical oceanfront getaway with year round perfect weather. Stunning views of the city of Salinas with its beautiful beaches can be enjoyed from our large balcony. Our apartment is on the 7th floor of El Capitan building. Only ten floors/ twenty apartments total. This well maintained complex with 24/7/365 security guards and cameras, is total peace of mind.

Salinas beach is really connected to two other beautiful beaches, one is Chipipe and the other is San Lorenzo which is where we are located. This is the quiet, more tranquil side, where the beach mansions, and higher end complexes are located, but walking distance to Salinas. There is so much to do, jet skis, water skiing, parasailing,banana boats, fishing trips, whale watching tours and more. There are hundreds of restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to transportation. Grab a taxi in front of the building ($1-$2). Well lit streets and modern infrastructure. We also have a secured parking space with our condo (included).

This was a great spot that we stayed over new years. The condo was very well furnished and it is very close to all the activities we chose to participate in. Cab rides were only $1-2 USD. Internet was provided which saved us on turning on international data on our phones.
The entire area seemed to be very family oriented and there was plenty of interesting places to try new food or water sports.

Although we arrived very late, 3am, the door man was there and let us in with no problem. The 3 bedrooms are a good size, and the view from the balcony was right there facing the water. You just have to cross the street and go through the entryway and you are on the beach. Pack light, there is a washer/dryer in the unit.
A couple of tips to make your stay in Salinas more enjoyable- everyone speaks Spanish only. If you dont bring a translator book. You need a key to open both the inside and outside lock to the door. Wifi works great- I even made a few skype calls. This is a free way to call people back home while you are away. Ruta de Sol is a good service for going to and from the airport. Enjoy your time there!

This was my fourth time in the Salinas area and definitely the best stay yet. The location is quieter on this end of the Malecon. The unit was very well furnished and the views were beautiful.
If you are Norte americano then you are a short walk from Score Bar and Big Ralph's. The rest of the Malecon can be walked but taxis are readily available right outside the condominium.
