Let all the stress and worries of life slip away as you access the private entrance to this beautiful island cabin in the apple orchard. Peace and quiet surrounds you. You waken to the songbirds' serenade and enjoy your breakfast with partial ocean views from the deck.
Orchard Cabin is cozy at 225 sq ft, but a creative use of space makes it very comfortable for couples or small families. A ladder leads to the comfy loft bed for two, and the futon can be converted to a double-size bed for two more. Orchard Cabin is at the end of a quiet road, but it is close to everything. It is just a 7 minute walk to Ganges where you can browse the many shops and galleries that focus on local arts and crafts. The world famous Salt Spring Market is in the heart of Ganges every Saturday from April to October. Public transit is available to and from all ferry terminals. Car, scooter or bike rentals are a great way to explore the islands many scenic attractions. Beaches and swimming lakes are everywhere.

The cottage is every bit as lovely as the pictures and our border collie enjoyed his two friendly dog companions in the large yard. We loved the very comfortable second level loft bed with its lovely chime we could ring to end and begin our days. Our son made himself comfortable on the futon downstairs and the little kitchen was well kitted out. We will definitely book this place again (and this time we won't mess up on our arrival date!!) The Steffiche's were most kind about that!
