The green cottage is a recently renovated, classic country style guesthouse perfect for couples, friends, or small families.
The cottage has one private bedroom, full bath with tub/shower, private deck, fully equipped kitchen, wood stove and a queen sleeper couch in the living room.
The cottage is uniquely appointed with traditional décor, down comforters, fine linens and full bathrooms with locally made soaps.
Foxglove Farm is family-friendly and children of all ages are welcome.
The farm is pet-friendly. A one time pet charge of $25 applies.

Foxglove Farm is nestled in a mountain, forest and lake ecosystem rich in flora, fauna and natural history. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected forest and agricultural fields, bordering Maxwell Lake, we are just minutes from hiking trails entering Mount Maxwell Provincial Park.
Mount Maxwell is a 231 hectare park located on Burgoyne Bay and the Sansome Narrows on the western shores of Saltspring island. Mount Maxwell Provincial Park contains one of the highest points on Saltspring Island in the Southern Gulf Islands. This point, called Baynes Peak, offers superb views of Vancouver Island, the surrounding Gulf Islands and the mainland of British Columbia.
The farm is located less than 3 km from the highest peak, requiring only a short hike into the park to encounter spectacular views.

We had a wonderful time at Foxglove Farm. It is a beautiful natural setting with warm and attentive hosts. Salt spring Island is a terrific get-away with quaint villages, a beautiful coastline and forested interior. You can hike, bike, explore or just relax.

We had a great time at Foxglove Farm last summer. It's our 2nd visit to this property, first time in the Green Cottage, which was perfect for my husband and I - lovely bedroom, kitchen and sitting room, and spacious front porch perfect for summer meals. The farm produce is abundant and so delicious - perfectly ripe berries, everything beautiful and fresh. We loved walking to the lake to swim, going on local hikes, like to Ruckle Park on the south part of the island, and just being in the charming town of Ganges. It's fun to kayak near the harbor. We also enjoy the local artisans, of which there are many.
We also recommend the Log House for larger groups of people. This was our 5th or 6th visit to the island, as we'd visited these owners before when they owned another farm, and this is a place we love to come, as a couple or with family and friends. There is so much to do- and if you wish, so much relaxing to do. Jeanne-Marie and Michael supply everything one needs for a healthy, comfortable get-away.
