This detached cottage is located in the village of St Germans in Cornwall and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. West End Cottage is a detached cottage situated in the Cornish village of St Germans near to Saltash. The cottage sleeps six people and has one double bedroom and two twins (one with an en-suite) plus a family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a stream. Ideal for discovering the south Cornwall coast, West End Cottage is a lovely cottage for a Cornish family holiday.

Amenities: LPG central... heating with woodburners in dining room and in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburners inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking 10 yards from cottage. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: There is a stream outside the cottage running along the side of the garden, care should be taken at all times.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Our family holiday at West End Cottage started bady and gto worse. On arrival there was no gas for hot water and the main living room stank of cat's urine.
  After 2 days I developed instect bites and my husband found a cat flea on his arm.
  We left the next day.
  After complaining to the letting agent we got no compensation and they and the owner disputed the facts as I presented them.
  Waste of time and money.

  Thank you for your review and we are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. The owners are very proud of their cottage and take customer satisfaction extremely seriously.
  
  The owners apologise for the lack of hot water on arrival unfortunately the calor gas cylinder had run out and the caretaker would have replaced this immediately for you if you had contacted them. We are sorry that you were bitten during your stay however as this is a pet free property which is in close proximity to a stream, the owners feel that it is more likely that they may have been mosquito bites, encouraged by the exceptionally wet summer. However, as a precaution, all areas of the cottage have been treated with proprietary household flea treatment. The owners will further investigate the alleged smells in the property but confirm there is no access for cats unless invited in by previous guests. We note that you have also rated the quality of the beds as poor however we are informed that all the beds, mattresses and bedding were replaced before the Summer season.
