Barra is a beautiful residential area about 10 minutes by cab to the old town (Pelourinho). It has 2 great beaches - one on the Atlantic coast with great surf and one on the Bay side with beautiful tranquil waters (Porto do Barra).

It's where the main Barra-Ondina carnival route starts and one of the city's main venues for free concert...s and events.

We pride ourselves in having the most competitive rates and guest service. The rate you see online applies all year through with the exception of Carnaval and New Year. It is the rule in Salvador to make packages for these dates. We have a special 10-day and 7-day package for Carnaval and New Year respectively.
