Around the corner, find the theater room with 80" screen and surround sound. Upstairs find four queen master suites, each with TV, and one with handicapped friendly features. The top floor is impressive with king master suite featuring a tray ceiling, TV, private deck access, and bathroom with separate shower and a luxurious whirlpool tub. The dining room, great room and kitchen all have dramatic vaulted ceilings. The dining room opens to the rear deck, and the tiled kitchen has a large breakfast bar for additional seating. Just beyond the powder room is a delightful alcove/sitting area that opens to the covered front porch. Near the home, you'll find the convenient community boat ramp.   Average...there are better choices in Salvo

  We have been to the OBX at least a half of a dozen times. We have stayed in Salvo 3 times and prefer it for its slow pace but convenient location to both the northern and southern beach towns. Now onto our rental this year. The house is really an average home in its price range. The up keep just isn't there as in many of the homes we have stayed in the past. The kitchen needed some new utensils. The silverware was not enough for the size of the home. Felt like i was washing a spoon whenever i needed one. The hot tub was in a covered screened in porch away from the pool. Though this may seem nice and secluded...it felt more grungy and dirty to us. I think it would be better served out with the pool and in the sun. There was not one flat screen television in the house. Again...this shows a lack of update and care. Several of the deck railings were loose and seemed to be an obvious hazard. Lastly...the overall layout of the home wasn't well thought out. The main level; kitchen,dining and living was very cramp as the master suite took up half the space. The house seemed backwards as none of the top level sliding doors to the deck overlooked the sound. It doesn't take advantage of being one row back from the sound and the beautiful sunsets. Again...no one thing is a deal breaker, but added them all up and it made the house a bit of a let down from previous homes this size we have stayed in.
