this is our 2nd annual stay at Talbot house with a large group for Young Farmers event on the show field. The rooms were clean and fresh with plenty of room for our extra kids. The owners made us all welcome and put up extra beds for what seemed like masses of teenagers! breakfast was lovely and they accomadated for all our different orders. We went back later in the day for coffee and cakes in the sunny yard tearoom. Delicious!!

We just returned home today after spending 5 wonderful days at the Hola Grand Faros..First... The resort grounds were manicured and I dont remember a time when there werent 2 or 3 employees working to keep it in its immaculate state.. Secondly... The staff, all though struggling with basic english always had a smile on there faces and were very anxious to assist us with any service that we could think up.. Thirdly ... The rooms were clean and the bathrooms as well.. Be patient as our daily room make up was usually well into the afternoon.(Really not a big deal once you got used to it.) Fourth...The food was above average, all inclusive buffet food...The restaurants were reservation only but we never had a problem getting one.. Just make them around 9;00 am.. Jonathan at the front desk was very accomadating for our most basic requests.. Internet.. Room upgrade..{ worth it) We were there without our children but will take them next time we go.. It was probably 70 % married adults and 30 % families.. The kids around were not an issue for us whatsoever. We have stayed at many all inclusive mexico resorts and this one for cleanliness, quality and "value" ranks right at the top... Cant wait to get back.. Hope they will have us...we booked through living social deals..

When my nephew Tim first appraised us of his desire to have a family destination wedding at this time of the year we were a bit apprehensive. It turns out he could not have done a more wonderful thing as the family was a group large enough to occupy the entire resort (about 70 people) and we were treated to one of the most enjoyable vacations and weddings imaginable. From start to finish this was one of the friendliest wait staffs I have ever dealt with. By the time we arrived they were anticipating each of us individually and within a day they all knew us by sight. The food was excellent and the ceremony was a pleasure to behold. My hat is off to Mr. Richard Gordon and all his staff!
