Additional Location Information
John and I chose the Grand Massif area as we felt that not only was this ski region one of the most snow-sure in Europe, but also because within a very small radius there is so much to do and see all year round. We have travelled extensively around the world, but this valley really offers something very special that we have not found elsewhere. Its beauty is second to none, it feels remote although transport to the area is easy and Geneva only 1 hour away. We have one of the six classified areas of France on our doorstep, the beauty of which takes your breath away. The list of activities in the area is virtually endless and Geneva, Annecy, Chamonix and Italy are less than an hour away!
