Secluded among a bunch of green trees, plants, and flowers, you and your guests will have your own pleasant hideaway at this villa rental in Tuscany. Complete with a private swimming pool and Jacuzzi, this self-catering accommodation is perfect for a large family looking for solitude at the same time as exploring the renowned Tuscan cities nearby. Florence is less than 20 minutes away and you could even be in Siena in a little over an hour from this holiday rental!

Set in a panoramic position in the Tuscan countryside, this villa is surrounded by trees, plants, and flowers. There is an outdoor terrace furnished with a barbecue, table, c...hairs, and umbrella as well as a Jacuzzi. A staircase leads down to a private swimming pool (6m x 12m) that is surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. Access to the property is via an unpaved but well maintained road and parking is available within the grounds.

Ground floor: There is a living room with two sofa beds (each most suitable for one), satellite TV, and a DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with a cook-top, oven, microwave, toaster, American coffee maker, and dishwasher and has a dining area with a table and chairs.

First floor: A staircase leads up to four bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bedroom has a 160 cm queen-sized bed. The third and fourth bedrooms each have two 90 cm single beds. There is a second bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower.

Second floor: A staircase leads up to one bathroom with a sink, toilet, and Jacuzzi tub.

The apartment is located about one kilometer from the village of Falciani where there are two restaurants, food stores, and shops. A bus stop is located in Tavarnuzze where a bus leaves for Florence every 15 minutes. One of the best things about this villa is that it is a short distance from Florence, a city rich in architectural and artistic masterpieces. Visit the Piazza San Giovanni, also known as the religious heart of the city, and you’ll see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, built in the 15th century. Other marvelous attractions include the Ponte Vecchio where you can go shopping, the Accademia Gallery full of Florentine paintings, and of course the Uffizi Gallery. In addition to Florence, San Gimignano and Siena are also within day trip distance.

  We enjoyed the entire experience, and Marco (property manager) was very pleasant and helpful.
  
  In addition to being in a lovely setting, the location enabled traveling to several other Tuscan towns. Plus, the bus to Florence was extremely convenient.
  
  The location makes it possible to easily take day trips and then return to a very peaceful villa.

  The villa was a great base for 3 couples to explore the Tuscan countryside. Very comfortable with lots of space. Marco, our host, was excellent and very obliging.
  
  Proximity to Florence and other Tuscan towns. Found some great little villages within easy driving distance. We enjoyed cooking and eating in the large kitchen - felt very Tuscan! The outdoor area was great and jacuzzi fantastic. Our lovely host Marco was invaluable.
  
  Difficulty of walking access to local village - along a busy main road. Also village was very small with only a couple of shops and was not quite what we had envisaged. Noise from main road was audible.
  
  Everything was within an easy driving distance. Traveling in October was a great time of year - beautiful weather and not too many tourists. The scenery magnificent. Exploring the villages, and having the compulsory morning coffee and cake!! The Italians do great pastries.
