This is a fabulous Tuscan villa sleeping between 15 and 20 people. Set on a hillside overlooking the River Pesa valley, it is just 15 minutes from Florence in the heart of the Chianti region. The views from the property are simply stunning and it will be hard for guests to drag themselves away from the peace and tranquility that the setting offers. However, you are also ideally placed to explore the wider Tuscan region, just 18 km from Florence, 60 km from Siena. Originally a Medieval feudal castle, the property was converted to a villa between 1450 and 1500. As you would expect, it is steeped in history and is a fascinating place to spend a... holiday in this wonderful part of Tuscany. The property is divided into two main sections - The Conventino and Torre - with a large central hall between the two. Within the Conventino, there is a master bedroom suite with both living area and ensuite bathrooms. In addition, there are 5 further double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms in this part of the property. Three of the double bedrooms also have their own ensuite bathrooms whilst the remaining bedrooms share 2 bathrooms between them. There is a small living room in this part of the villa. Across in the Torre, there is an entrance hall, dining room with wonderful fireplace, kitchen, utlity room, large living area and loggia facing the swimming pool. There is also a second master bedroom suite with private bathroom as well as another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. These two bedrooms share a living area. The nearest village is Bargino, just 2 km away. The nearest large town is San Casciano which is about a 15 minute drive away. Here, there is a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The property is in a great location for exploring with the beautiful city of Florence just 18km away. The villa is ideally located for visiting the other main cities, towns and villages of this wonderful area of Italy. Siena, Pisa, Lucca and San Gimignano can all be reached within 90 minutes. The location is equally perfect for golfers. That is, if playing amid olive groves and vineyard covered hills is your idea of the perfect round of golf, then Florence is an ideal destination! Just 20 minutes south of central Florence is the Ugolino golf course in Grassina. This is the oldest golf club in Tuscany. Set in the heart of the Chianti region, the spectacular hillside course has wonderful views over the Tuscan countryside. Alternatively, golfers can enjoy a round of golf at the Poggio dei Medici golf club, just over an hour away. Il Pavoniere is another inviting layout and is less than an hour away. Other courses include the Golf Club Montelupo, the course at Castelfalfi, the golf club Fontevivo and the golf club Bellosguardo. These are all under an hour away. Also accessible from the villa is the golf club Montecatini and, to the south, Circolo Golf l'Abbadia.

Rental rates are for groups of up to 15 people. Additional guests are charged at 50 euros per person per day up to a maximum of 20 people. There is also an obligatory 4 hours of basic cleaning per day charged at 10 euros per hour, to be payable locally on arrival. Additional cleaning can be provided at a charge of 12 euros per hour. Extra services can also be provided including the preparation of breakfast or lunch (70 euros), preparation of a 4 course meal (200 euros), a waitress service and ironing service. Utilities are included in the price (water, gas, electricity). Pool maintenance, linen change, towels and final cleaning are also included.
