San Casciano in Val di Pesa is placed in the heart of Chianti area, famous for its authentic Tuscan landscape, wines and extra virgin olive oil. San Casciano lies only 15 km south of Florence, between Siena and Florence, along the ancient Roman road Cassia. The village offers a lot of facilities: a big supermarket, very good restaurants and pizzerias, a cinema, an Olympic swimming pool, a theatre, shops, banks with ATM and pharmacies.
