French doors open from the patio to a large and airy studio with high beamed ceiling, Spanish tile floor, private bathroom. The studio does NOT have a full kitchen (please see photo gallery) but is equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, Panini maker, coffee set up, dishes/glasses/utensils. There is no kitchen sink ("Laurita" is dishwasher!) Large patio area with barbecue grill, seating area, perfect for relaxing in the afternoon after a day at the beach or sightseeing around our beautiful 'Spanish Village By The Sea'.

BEYOND SAN CLEMENTE: If you want to venture away from town, we are close to everything! Take a drive on the Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 101) driving north along the beautiful coastline, in minutes you'll be at Dana Point Yacht Harbor, then the popular Art Colony of Laguna Beach, Balboa Island and Newport Beach. Further on, but less than an hour to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Huntington Beach (Surf City U.S.A.) and just a little further to Hollywood, LAX, Universal Studios. If you head south from SC, visit beautiful San Diego and it's surroundings, La Jolla and other beach towns along the coast.

About one hour east is Temecula Wine Country, Old Town Julian, also a little over an hour away in the mountains. Catch the early morning Catalina Express from Dana Point and in 1.5 hours you are in another southern California treasure. The 5 pm ferry should get you back to San Clemente in time to unwind at our popular Fishermans Restaurant and bar on the pier, to watch the sunset, enjoy a cocktail and share stories of an unforgettable holiday on the California Riviera.

HOW TO GET TO SAN CLEMENTE BY AIR Orange County (John Wayne) Airport SNA is approximately 25 minutes away and has easily connectible service to and from European destinations and all around the world. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is approximately an hour and 10 minute’s drive from San Clemente. Flights arrive here from many other U.S cities as well as international airports including Amsterdam (AMS), Beijing Capital (PEK), Frankfurt (FRA), London-Heathrow (LHW), Madrid (MAD), Moscow-Sheremetyevo (SME), Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Tokyo-Narita (NRT) and Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) and others. San Diego (Lindbergh Field) SAN is also an easy 50 minute drive away.

Casita Laurita is a charming little studio in San Clemente, Ca, a laid back little beach side town. I never thought I'd find a futon comfortable...Laura made it up with a topper and luxurious duvet that made it extremely comfy! Speaking of Laura, she's the most accommodating owner we've had the pleasure of knowing. The location is within walking distance from Del Mar St. where we found shops and restaurants. We would definitely return for another long weekend visit!

Casita Laurita was a great spot for one or two and so handy to everything. The setting is very comforting, sweet little patio and gardens and an easy walk to the beach. The cottage was light and airy, bedding was sooo comfortable and the tiny kitchenette covered my basic needs but really the best part was how welcoming Laura was. Thanks for a great time!

My husband and I stayed at this cute, little studio. We were within walking distance from downtown and the beach. Laura was a gracious host. She picked us up from the train station and left us an adorable welcome gift. We felt very welcome. The studio is very cute and cozy. We loved it for the weekend get-a-way. We will definitely stay there again.
