Passing the Rancho San Nicolas Camping area, continue left up the hill. Then take a left down the hill. Look for the black & yellow Kangaroo sign. This is the driveway.

I stayed here with a few buddies when we were in San Cristobal for a week. With 2 bedrooms and a huge couch this was much cheaper than staying in hotels or even hostels, and the accommodations were top notch. The house gets a ton of light, the water is nice and hot, and the fireplace is great on a cool night. The place feels very classically Mexican with nice stucco and tiles, and it has all the modern amenities. There was even a maid who came and cleaned. The house feels very private, but it is only a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk from the middle of town. I highly recommend a mid-afternoon Victoria out on the patio!

hi im from san diego, ca. visiting san cristobal with the family for 3 weeks, found out about this wonderful cabin/house in a very safe and quiet neighborhood not too long to walk from central plaza, it came with a made that was very kind and helpful, we had firewood to burndown the house, but of course we didnt...

Beautiful view and nice sunny terrace for meals.
Really closed to downtown, very safe!
