The condo was perfect for what we needed. It was centrally located in Pacific Beach, close to everything. The inside was all updated and spacious. We had some trouble with the internet, and the a/C didn't seem to be working, but with the doors open and windows, it was comfortable. The support staff was helpful if we called in, and it was easy to get into the house upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this rental to others and hopefully stay there again soon.

No working Air Condition!

There was no available aC working in the condo. The bedroom located on the middle level averaged about 90 degrees everynight I when to sleep. When I called to get someone to come and fix it, they told me to turn on the aC like this was my first time turning on an air Condition unit inside a condo.

Loved the rental! We had a wonderful stay while in San Diego. The condo was perfect. Our girls had their own space and we had ours. Loved being able to walk to Trader Joes, so convenient. Went the very first morning because I need caffine - the brewer at the condo made great coffee! It was so nice to have a grarage for our rental car. We used the gas grill a few times - worked great. It was nice to have beach towels & beach chairs, we went several times while we were there. Would recommend this condo to others, very clean!

This place was the perfect location. The ammenities were great, place was clean and comfortable. The only negative is there is a lot of action on the street at night and you can hear everything. Other than that this place was great and I would stay again.

The place was well furnished and had everything we wanted and needed. Location was great in that it was close to so much it was an easy walk to the beach and many local restraunts and bars. Only bad things were that it is so close to a main street that traffic and sirens could be heard easily at night and the neighbor was very forward to us about us being careful pulling out of the garage so as not to hit his garage door with our "oversized" vehicle. All in all a good place to rent but due to being light sleepers we would not rent this location again.

We were very impressed with the condo and location! We had everything we needed for 4 adults and 2 children. Convenient location to everything! We all enjoyed our time in San Diego but wished the weather was warmer and not raining for our zoo day.
Most of all we very much appreciated the customer service provided to us and the flexibility when our plans had to change due to weather conditions in Oregon, which canceled our flight twice. Nancy's rental was very supportive and accommodating for us! Thank you all very much! -

This was our third year in the condo and the best yet. We love the location for our family--asking distance to the bay, Trader Joe's, and many decent restaurants. The condo is spacious and very clean. Nancy and staff were helpful as always.

This is a very comfortable and convenient property, clean, well-maintained, centrally located, and with all of the amenities. One of the best values in San Diego.
The property is quite spacious and extremely comfortable. Some of the features include modern appliances and TVs, air conditioning, spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a separate kitchen and living area with a full-size family dining table, a secure garage, and a downstairs entryway with laundry room for wet clothes and shoes.
The decor is minimal but modern; the views are not spectacular but not unpleasant. Despite being along a fairly busy street (Grand avenue) the property is not very noisy, and the walls seem well soundproofed because we did not hear anything from the neighbours. Our young child slept very well in her own room, as did we in ours. The kitchen is particularly well-appointed and equipped, and we enjoyed a number of excellent home-cooked meals, taking advantage of the abundance of fresh food available within walking distance.
I did note the recent negative review centering essentially on customer service from the property management company, and I would wish to say that our several experiences with this company have been nothing short of excellent. We have found them pleasant, helpful, and very accommodating. That said, it is also unfortunate that said review seems to reflect poorly on the property, when really it seems it was intended for the management company. -

We had a great time staying here. We were on our honeymoon and this place was perfect. This place would also be great for families as the house had plenty of room. It was easy to take the bus to where ever we wanted to go in San Diego. There were great restaurants, shops, and grocery stores nearby. We didn't have a car on this trip but didn't feel like that was a set-back at all.

My husband and I brought our grandkids, ages 5 and 7, to San Diego for a week to visit all the attractions. The condo was perfect for us - easy access to the freeway, close to grocery stores for supplies, and plenty of room for the four of us. I cooked all breakfasts and most dinners in the lovely, well-stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfy and the condo was very clean. We appreciated the beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards on our days at the beach. We had a problem getting a couple of TVs to work but our call for help was promptly returned and advice given over the phone resolved the problems. We would stay here again.

Yes unfortunately we had the marine layer over the coast for the whole time we were there. Had not heard of June gloom before arrival but it was a full time talking piece during our stay, we had travelled down from Vegas were we had 106 % dry heat lovely and were looking forward to some sea sand and swimming - didn't happen !
That said we could not fault the condo every thing you could possibly need and the bikes were great plus.

Whilst the ' put me up ' sofa, has probably seen better days it did the job for my 19 year old. Some one more mature would probably struggle comfort wise!
Location of condo @ Pacific beach was spot on , every where within easy reach and a couple of minutes drive.
We thought San Diego was a fabulous place and Ocean Beach very quirky and retro as the locals say " So Cal"
We plan on a return trip but not in June !

1. After travel of 3 hours with 2 small children, the condo was not ready for us to check in. The check in time was 3pm, we were unable to get in until 5:30. The children were very crabby and hungry when we were finally able to get in.
2. The hide a bed in the living room was broke making it impossible to sleep on with any kind of comfort.
3. The garbage disposal was broke and had the people who stayed prior to us garbage in it. It was very smelly.
After calling the office, they did send someone over the next day to repair the garbage disposal and the hide a bed.
When Nancy called back regarding these problems she was unapologetic and bordered on rude. She was extremely defensive about the whole matter.
We had planned this trip with our son and his family for 6 months, and the whole experience was a disappointment and quite unpleasant. We travel a great deal and we have never dealt with management who would not even apologize for the inconveniences. That basically was all we wanted Would not recommend these properties.
Nancy did offer to refund us $50.00 (what a slap in the face). Of course we have not seen this.
Having said the above, the office staff was very courteous and helpful. Nancy herself-not so much. -

Everything about this condo was beautiful. We had an amazing vacation.
Nancy's vacation rental made our transition from
the airport to our condo so easy. They had brochures out for a highlights of
things to do in San Diego. The condo was very close to the beach. We
were able to ride the bikes down to the beach every morning.

Renting through Nancy's Vacation Rental was easy and convenient. Loved the location and the property itself. Having the 2 bicycles was a plus! Only issue we had was with the sofa sleeper in the living room (which is supposed to accomodate 2 people)..it's really bad! I suggest the owners at least provide a good queen or full-size inflatable mattress (with an electric pump) to be placed on top of that joke of a mattress included in the sofa.

We have rented this condo 2 years in a row. It is in a great location--a short walk to the bay, beach, and Trader Joes. The condo is spacious and roomy and we loved the tvs, cable, and wireless. Perhaps there could be a few more cups and glasses but other than than it was perfect.

We completely enjoyed our stay. The condo was easy to find, nicely appointed, rooms were comfortable and the beach accessories proved invaluable. My only comment would be for the owners to provide another comfy chair for the family room - only having the sofa and dining rooms chairs to sit on wasn't the best for four adults. The directions to local restaurants and grocery stores was really nice as were the discount coupons for Lego Land and San Diego Zoo. We would definitely stay there again.

We changed our reservation at the last minute from a hotel room to this condo, and it was the best decision we made. There were 5 of us traveling together, and the space was perfect. We had tons of space (3 stories) and everyone was able to spread out. The 2 bathrooms were a big plus, since we had 5 girls trying to get ready at the same time. I regret not taking advantage of the bikes and beach gear, but we hardly had any down time. The location is also really awesome...everything was in walking distance - beach, restaurants, stores, and bars! The one and only downside was the size of the garage. Our SUV barely fit, so we just parked outside in our designated spot. This may not be an issue for smaller cars, and it honestly didn't make a difference to us.

Emanuel's Condo was in a great location. Beautiful condo that included tons of amentities! Loved the fact that the washer and dryer were in the condo! Just a few blocks away from the beach, and we definitely made the most of our beach time using the available boogie boards. The only complaint was the water (to the house) kept turning off. It usually was only turned off for 20-30 minutes and it would come back on. Other that little nuisance, the vacation was great!

The professionalism and attention to detail of the staff told us early on that we would be well taken care of. The location couldn't have been better. We could easily walk to the ocean or to a bay. Places to shop and places to eat were plentiful within walking distance.

The condo is very nice, and having a private garage is a big plus. The master suite on the top floor is private and quiet. There are nice shops on Garnet which is one street over.
The only drawback was a neighbor who got pretty irate about us parking in the wrong spot for our extra car. She stood there yelling at my son while he was apologizing and moving his car It would be nice if these were marked so that doesn't happen again. It marred what would have been a perfect stay in the condo. So Remember...the middle slot behind the garbage bays. -

My family truly enjoyed every minute in this condo. The online pictures were nice but the condo was even more impressive in person! It was clean, modern, included all the amenities (washer/dryer and central aC a huge+) and was in a perfect location.
Only a few blocks from the beach or bay, we found it very convenient to take morning strolls along the water, enjoy afternoon playtime at Fanuel Park or hang out at the beach. Having access to beach chairs, surf boards and bikes was also a nice touch.
One last note...Accommodations play a huge part on whether or not I deem my vacation a success and this San Diego vacation will be remembered as one of the best! -

This condo was comfortable and well located. It was not particularly fancy, but it was of a good standard. It was clean and neat on arrival and served us well. We would use it again. While the address is Fanuel St., it is in fact at the corner of Grand and Fanuel, however, noise was not a significant problem. Near to all immediate shopping needs. We would us Nancy's service again.

We booked this rental last minute (less than 48 hours before our stay). Jeremy, Staci, and Nancy were all extremely accommodating in helping us arrange this at the the last minute.
We had been at Disneyland the 5 days prior to this and stuck in a small hotel room with 3 kids. The condo enabled us to let our kids have more space and not be right on top of each other.
The condo is gorgeous, some normal wear and tear on the carpet, but beautiful wood floors and spacious bedrooms. And as a sports fan, I loved the large Tv's they had as I watched games. The condo was located close to Seaworld and although we didn't spend much time there due to the cold, the beach was very close as well.
The condo itself was great, but Jeremy, Staci, and Nancy did a great job in helping us. We were on the road while booking the condo, but all three of them were extremely helpful and understanding of our situation. We really appreciated their willingness to work with us and help us out.
If ever in San Diego again I would use Nancy's Vacation Rentals again. -

We recently visited San Diego with our three children ages 3 to 8 and this rental was ideal. The kids had plenty of space to play and the second bedroom worked out great for them. They especially loved the fact they got there own TV! The second bedroom (master) was perfect. So large that when we let the kids watch a movie in the living room we still had a place to sit and relax without having to be on top of the kids. The extras included such as the beach chairs, bikes and surf boards would have been great to use if we had the time.

This house was by far better then any hotel out there. They had everything you could possibly need in this house; from surf boards to shampoo and everything in between. The house was close to everything the beach was 5 blocks and Garnett Street is one block up. Nancy's rentals vacation homes are clean and spacious. We will definately stay there again on our next trip to California and will be sure to recommend friends and family who may visit San Deigo! Give is 5 stars!

This is the first time we have stayed at a condo instead of a hotel and it was a great experience. Everything was just as promised, we had no problem getting into the garage or condo when we arrived. The condo was very clean, and had everything we needed. It was easy to get to everything from this location, and walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, would recommend it and would stay there again if the opportunity comes up.

We are so pleased with our stay. It was great location, walking distance to trader Joe's, Henry's, restaurants, and the beach. The condo is beautifully decorated and clean. The check-in was easy. Perfect for family vacation.

I stayed here with two friends while we were attending a 5-day women's surf clinic in La Jolla. The condo was well-appointed and well-maintained. The upstairs bedroom is large and has a closet so big, it could almost be a bedroom for a little kid. Downstairs bedroom was also nice. The sofa bed is uncomfortable, as sofa beds tend to be. Nancy's staff were very responsive to our calls about dish detergent and deciphering the complicated TV remote controls. We also took advantage of the excellent beach chairs, beach towels, and beach toys. The place is about a 10-15 min drive from La Jolla Shores Beach (home of our clinic) and you can easily walk to many shops and restaurants from the condo. The only thing slightly marring the experience was a strange wet stain on the entry stairs smelling of cat pee, but it did seem to be fading by the time we left. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

We are sorry to hear that this guest had an issue with the grill. We've found that sometimes people miss turning on the propane tank because the valve is somewhat hidden behind a splash shield, which protects the tank from BBQ juices/grease. Once the tank is on, the bbq knobs must be turned to light the grill. Unfortunately this guest didn't call our 24/7 support-line so we weren't able to walk them through it, but it sounds like they still had a wonderful time! -

We had a great trip. We were going to stay in a hotel but found this rental and saved a ton! It was clean and had a lot of space. The kitchen was nice, we cooked every morning. I felt safe and the accomodations were very comfortable.
