This one bedroom, one bath, executive rental is situated on the Penthouse floor of a 4-story condominium complex and offers a 180 degree totally unobstructed panoramic view overlooking the Crown Point Seabird Estuary, Mission Bay, SeaWorld and downtown San Diego.
The lights at night are captivating. No mosquitoes here, it's salt water. This photo was taken at low tide but at high tide the entire bird sanctuary is underwater with just the highest knolls visible as islands.

After 45 days in Nancy's condo we didn't hesitate to re-book for next winter. This apartment has all the comforts but what impressed us most was the immediate response and effort to make our stay the best it could be. What did we like best? Even though we were there for January and February when the temps hovered around 60, we were able to have breakfast on the balcony most of the time. Somehow it was always warm out there, if not hot. The apartment itself comes supplied with extra heaters, but these were hardly needed.
The location is perfect, away from touristy Mission Beach, yet just a short drive away. Trader Joe's is near as are a lot of wonderful restaurants. The apartment is very close to I-5 for quick access to all sites. Golf is just down the road. This is definitely the best apartment of the four I have stayed in while spending the last 14 winters in San Diego. -

We entered out rental with ease. If you did have a problem, the staff would handle it immediately. It really has become our home away from home. The best part is opening that door and taking in the view. We are hoping to see a new sofa in the future.

The view was amazing. As the tide goes in and out, the estuary changes. Everything was very comfortable. The iron was missing and the kitchen bulbs were out, but management was willing to take care of them the same day. Make sure management can insure that the neighbors will not be allowed to play loud bass music until 2 am and again at 7am in the morning. The view at night is great too with the lights of San Diego and the fireworks across the bay for Sea World.

What a nice quiet place to get away. Not to mention the incredible sunrise and view from living room to bedroom. You'll be spoiled though, and not much else will compare.

We loved everything about Nancy's condo! The place was nicely decorated, very clean, organized, and well-thought out for guests! The bed in the Master bedroom was very comfortable; we had wi-fi access; the view is exactly as shown in the pictures; and the place was very peaceful and quiet (yet near enough to the beach, Garnet ave., and freeway access).

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here in this one bedroom condo on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking an estuary and bay in the background. The view was magnificent and we spent many hours out on the balcony, soaking up the view and sun. We also enjoyed the lovely pool and jacuzzi, along with the work out room and sauna. The location was perfect, allowing us to access beaches and boat rentals in the Mission Bay area, as well as Balboa Park and the harbor/downtown area only 15 minutes away. We'd stay here again in the future - and would recommend it to friends and family.

I loved staying in this condo. It was my haven and refuge during a time of great personal stress (I was visiting the area because my father was in the hospital). Words cannot express how I felt when I walked through the door and saw the view- sublime! Watching the birds in the salt marsh, the boats on the bay and the city beyond was inspiring and relaxing. The condo is well equipped and the bed is super comfortable. The story even has a happy ending as Dad is home now and doing very well. I hope to stay in this condo again when I visit my family in Pacific Beach. The rental agent was exceedingly nice and helpful as well.

Making the plans for our stay was pain free. This was our third stay in the last year. A total of 9 weeks. The condo is in a good location with good security.

My husband and I loved Nancy's Penthouse unit. It was so quiet. The balcony is very private and it was wonderful to wake up to sunrise with the birds chirping away in the bird sanctuary below. Every morning I would walk along the sanctuary and down to the beach in Mission Bay Park to look at the birds. The location is excellent for getting anywhere. There are two wonderful beach chairs that we took everywhere with us and sat listening to the ocean from sunset cliffs to Point Loma to La Jolla. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is very comfortable. As a matter of fact, when we got home, my husband had trouble getting to sleep. He said our bed wasn't as comfortable!
Nancy is very friendly and efficient. For example, the coffee pot carafe was missing when we checked in. Within an hour, Nancy arrived with a new coffee pot. She also replaced the beach chairs with brand new backpack ones which even recline.
We can't wait to go back to beautiful San Diego and Crown Point Penthouse. -

What a perfect location to chill out from the demands of work. The condo has a great view overlooking San Diego and the bay, a cozy deck and is just the right size for two adults. We saw fireworks every evening and visited the sites and beaches during the day. Dont forget your binoculars.

Property was as advertised. The view of Mission Bay was exactly as portrayed on the website. Enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the balcony with the view. Kitchen was well applianced and included everything needed for cooking. Bed was a little soft with foam padding but that was easy to fix by removing the padding. Easy to get to and from I-5. Enjoyable stay.

Perfect location...
Our stay was wonderful. The Condo was very nice. I was pleased that the building was secure and quiet. The location was perfect for us. The view was out of this world.
We enjoyed the fireworks from across the bay on Saturday and Sunday nights. The reflection in the bay added to the enjoyment.
Pros: I liked that the condo was stocked with every thing to make staying easier. The cons, The couch was very uncomfortable with the cusions smashed down. The living room was very crowed with furniture. More furniture than pictures show The hair dryer was missing. I hadn't planned for that. Smaller than expected. -

We enjoyed our stay, however it was little too small for us. I traveled with my husband and a 2 year boy. It would of been perfect if it was just my husband and I. The unit was very clean inside but outside of the building needs updating. The carpet was old and the wall needs new paint. The location of the condo was excellent. Close to stores and a short walk to the park. We did have one mishap at the penhouse where I thought it could of been handle better. My son locked the bedroom door and the owner did not have a key for it. So it took them a long time to have a locksmith come to the house to get it open. It wasted a whole day of our time in San Diego and made us pay for the locksmith fee. Customer services could of been better where they offer to come to the unit to wait for the locksmith for us so we go sightseeing. If I had to do it over, I would of stay somewhere else.

I was extremely happy with my Crown Point stay and the wonderful view of the back bay...I had my son and his best friend visit and we BBQ around the pool and had a great time. The view from the patio was interesting and I couldn't believe the changes when the tide came in...it was breath-taking! The accommodations were very comfortable!
