The location of this condo was great. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted. The beach was easy access, as was restaurants, bars, shops, groceries. This was a clean and updated condo. It did not have air conditioning, so it was hot in the late afternoon, but cooled off in the evening due to the ocean breeze. When we were there it had some water problems. The water was shut off for a couple of hours for 2 days each. The pool was not available for 2 of our days of stay bacause of this. Just an inconvenience that happened during our stay that may never happen again.

Great condo in a great location. What I appreciated the most was that the condo matched Nancy's description, to a T. That way there were no surprises or disappointments. Just study the write up and the pictures and you will know what you are getting. Everything worked and was in good shape. Lovely place in a great location. We were a 3 generation family of 5 and it was a perfect layout and size for us. Bathrooms are a little small, but so what. Will definitely stay there again if the opportunity to return comes up.

The condo was complete and luxuriously supplied with extra's such as towels, cleaning materials and very clean. The location couldn't be better choosen right at the ocean. With breathtaking views and at the lively boulevard. Keys and entering the condo were a bit complicated. Final remark: it's not a cheap rent, but it is worth every dollar!!

The best indicator of our love for Bree's Ocean Point Penthouse is the fact that, two days in, we'd already booked our stay for next year! The unit is beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows spanning the entire wall in all three rooms, so they're flooded with light and gorgeous ocean views. The shades can be closed and the windows opened as needed for breeze, so temperatures are easily controlled. The decor is attractive and comfortable, and the unit was immaculate and amply stocked with everything one could need or want, including disposable supplies, cookware, beach toys -- even laundry detergent & shampoo. We loved being just steps from the beach, three blocks from Ralph's grocery store, a CVS, & cabs, & a short walk to a branch of the San Diego public library; and any time I had a question, the folks at Nancy's were instantly available, friendly, efficient and unfailingly helpful. While in town, we visited our favorite restaurants (Bleu Boheme, Roppongi's, Hexagone & Trattoria Ponte Vecchio) and the first three have spectacular deals during designated Happy Hours. We always enjoy simply wandering around Pacific Beach (and visiting my all-time favorite store, Pangaea Outpost) as well as visiting Little Italy, and discovering new destinations each year. Certainly, with children (alas, ours are now grown), visits to Sea World and Disney Land are great fun, as well as simply building sand castles on the beach. In the past, we've stayed at a different condominium and in a different unit in this building -- this is easily our favorite! And everyone we encountered in Ocean Point was so friendly, striking up conversations in the parking garage, the laundry room and the elevator. I could go on, but the bottom line is that there's nothing I wouldn't recommend, most highly, about Bree's and about Nancy's Vacation Rentals.

This condo exceeded my expectations! I had an absolutely wonderful stay and have recommended it to family and friends. The fine upgrades and luxurious furnishings & decor make the place sparkle with elegance and class. The bright, open and airy floor plan made me feel right at home and very comfortable, I love the sunshine that pours in and keeps the place bright; and the windows with views out each room, looking out to the ocean, can't be beat. Listening to the ocean and waves throughout the day and night create peace and comfort. Not to mention the incredible feeling of the ocean breeze swimming throughout the condo when you open the windows! The building itself is very quiet and peaceful. The place was extremely clean and well taken care of - you can tell the owners take pride in their home away from home! The beds were comfortable and I slept wonderfully. New and well-kept beach cruiser bikes to ride anywhere your heart could possibly desire to go - restaurants, shops, grocery stores or simply a relaxing cruise along the boardwalk. Beach, volleyball, shopping, etc. all within an arms reach! What a perfect location. Overall, one of San Diego's best vacation rentals. Thank you for a beautiful and treasured memory.

My family had a terrific Christmas vacation at this condo! It had everything the 4 (plus a baby) of us needed. There were even UNO cards which we played every night. The beds were comfortable, the decor was cute, and everything was very very clean. The best part, however, was the amazing view! We spent a lot more time inside than we usually do on vacation, because we loved to watch the ocean for our large windows.

We've now been here twice (first time in this condo, previous trip was in another unit), and we love it! Directly across from the beach, and specifically one of the staircases, which makes it easy to go to the beach anytime and spend as much or as little time as you like. Our daughter is 2.5 yrs old, and after a recent trip to Hawaii said she prefered this trip - we're pretty sure it was how much more time she got to spend on the sand due to our proximity, added to the time we spent at Sea World. We got passes to Sea World at Costco last year, and came back still able to use them (they're good for 1 year), and with it only being 5 min away driving it was a great way to spend part of a day, and we didn't feel rushed as we knew we could come back easily.
The condo had a very nice setup for us (3 adults, 1 young child), and we loved the trundle bed for our daughter who still felt like she was with us but not in our bed. Lots of beach toys, along with some other equipment like beach chairs, mats, and umbrella, meant we had plenty of things for the beach without needing to purchase anything. The kitchen was well stocked & organized for cooking, and we had plenty of towels for our party - even with time at the beach & pool everyday. It was nice to have the bikes, and we ended up renting another one and a bike carriage from a place within a few blocks so we could all go out. Made it very convenient with the boardwalk just out our front door.
The garage is a bit low, and while we got a SUV it was a good thing it wasn't a large one as we barely fit. It feels a bit scary driving down into it, so I would definitely recommend looking at heights before you rent a vehicle as you don't want to get there and be unable to park in the garage - not many choices for street parking.
We've tried various places to eat around, and love being able to walk to so many choices.

Most everything was perfect about this condo and the location. The beds were wonderful, the bathrooms great, the kitchen fully stocked. The pool was perfect for the whole family, clean and empty most of our stay. The ocean was great; right outside all of the windows. Our only complaint about the condo itself was that it got very warm in the afternoon and evening. We tried everything to cool things down without much success. The 2 small fans really didn't help. Ac would have been nice to make things more comfortable for sleeping and relaxing in the evening. The only other negative is that with the windows open you could hear everything happening outside and some nights it got quite loud with foot traffic and people after bar time! Other than that, beautiful property and amazing location! We would love to stay again sometime.

Wonderful location, condo and appartment. At arrival, for my standard, the appartament was not clear enough, nothing to complain about but for the value of the place I would expect something better.
Windows I know they're an issue because of the ocean but when we got un they we're dirty and in 2 weeks they have never been cleaned (the condo is organiZed that Someone comes to clean them and you are supposed to

We appreciate these guests taking a moment to rate their stay and provide such valuable feedback; given the 5 star rating, we sincerely hope that this means they enjoyed their stay over-all! Regarding the windows, we have them on a once a month cleaning schedule but it is a little difficult to coordinate during our peak summer months, when this property is booked back to back, as we can only schedule the cleaning when it is vacant so as not to disturb guests. With that said, we are re-evaluating and revising the schedule for cleaning the windows and it will now be done more regularly. We want all of our guests to enjoy the beautiful ocean view! The owner's of this lovely condo will be visiting their property in the upcoming month, as well, and will replace the screen door.

This condo worked extremely well for our family. It had beautiful views from every window, was clean and modern, and had every possible item for the beach that we needed...a large umbrella, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, sand toys...our kids were thrilled! We appreciated the local information given, too, especially the restaurant recommendations.
The only minor thing I would suggest would be to have more hooks for hanging towels and swimsuits...maybe a long row in the entryway?
We happily recommend this condo.

The place is the most beautiful in the building and well supplied with all amenities. We have been staying in that building for 35 years. We were so disappointed that the elevator was not fixed until Thursday. We are almost 70 and being on the 4th floor, kept us from our usual routines. Carrying groceries up 4 flights as well as a 2 yr old was more than difficult. Only other negative was windows were dirty which spoiled such a beautiful view. Normally would have given this 5 stars.

We are very sorry to hear about the inconvenience to this guest regarding the elevator. Unfortunately, there is simply nothing that we could have done about the situation. This is a large building and the elevator was down for repairs for all occupants, the HOA kept us apprised of the situation and anticipated repair date, which we passed on to our guest's but again, this really was something out of our control and out of the norm for this building. Regarding the windows, this building faces the Ocean and the salt/sand is hard to counteract. We clean the windows when we notice it is necessary but during our peak summer months with such high turn-overs between guests, this must have been missed in this instance. We sincerely apologize for the obstructed view and really wish that the guest would have contacted us to let us know. We are open 7 days a week and have office hours during weekdays until 9pm (as well as a 24 hr after-hours line for emergencies); had we been contacted about the windows (we were not), we would have happily, and immediately, coordinated for our window cleaner to take care of the issue. We will personally email this guest to apologize and ensure that they are aware how accessible we are for such things in the future.

We really enjoed everything,would give it 5 stars, but the only really irritating thing for us was that the washer and dryer was in the garage and we had to pay for it!!! Another down point was that after 8.5hr drive with 2 kids we could not get to the key of the condo, it was stuck in the coded lock. Other than that it was very pleasant and quiet stay at the very well appointed condo.

A great location right on the ocean. Spectacular views from every room. Walking distance to many different kinds of restaurants and entertainment spots. Best of all, close (20 minutes) to Torrey Pines Golf course. This is one of the country's best. Several other good courses within a half hour, which was perfect for our spring golf trip. Unit was well appointed and comfortable. Hot tub, pool, and the bikes were great. We look forward to coming back to this place next year for the weather, golf, entertainment, and ocean.

Great stay in a beautifuly remodeled condo right on the beach. Big plus was the heated pool and hot tub, being on the beach, bicycles to ride on the (concrete) board walk and secure parking. You can walk to good restaurants and bars and walking out on the pier every morning with a cup of coffee to look for dolphins became a morning ritual.
As others noted, a balcony would be nice but there is a table right next to the windows. The full time residents of the condos are quick to point out any infraction of the "rules" (like noodle floats in the pool for my daughter) but are generally friendly.
Pacific Beach is a bit more urban than Mission Beach, but that means there is more to do. Having the pool was key for us and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. -

We loved the condo! We stayed with a family of four (2 kids) and it was plenty of room. The kids even had their own side of the condo to wake up early and bop around without disturbing anyone. The place looked newly renovated. Everything was clean and the beach was great! Spent a lot of time playing (the beach toys were a nice touch to occupy the kids) in the sand and walking the boardwalk. We will definitely return!

Bree's condo was awesome. The 2 bedrooms and the living room all face the ocean with spacious floor to ceiling windows. Unbelievable views, very clean. The bonus bicycle beach cruisers are great to go up and down the blvd and sidewalk. The place is clean. Walking distance to the beach and covered, gated parking. In fact, just park the car and walk everywhere. It's location is incredible. And the beds are nice. Thanks for everything, can't wait to come back. It is the top floor of the condo building. Everything is updated and modern. We were sick of staying at hotels that looked promising and turned out, albeit great locations, dumpy. This place looked great and was great.

Bree's Ocean Point Penthouse condo was just what we were looking for. The interior is well-appointed and very comfortable. The owners have thought of everything to make a vacation complete and easy. The view is spectacular (I think this is the best unit in the building for view and layout!), and loved having the beach right outside our building. We used the pool and hot tub (the hot tub is tiny - rated for 3 people!) and the bikes. Appreciated having the sand toys, boogie boards, cooler, etc, even though the weather this trip was too cool to use. Great location for getting to sights as well. We would definitely recommend this condo!

We loved our stay in San Diego! From the trolley tour to the tide pools at the National Park. From the heights of the Soledad Memorial Monument to the perfect sunsets every night...it was all incredible. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived and especially enjoyed the comfortable beds and the spacious rooms. And what a view from our rooms! The daily surfers, dolphins, and kite-surfers on the weekend kept us entertained right outside our rooms. We were surprised at the quality of the bikes we could use for free and the extra touches in the condo helped to make our trip one we'll never forget. Thank you for thinking of everything-we'll be back!

My girl friends and I planned a stay in San Diego. We booked another condo and when the elevator wasn't working, Nancy's Vacation Rentals quickly found us Bree's Penthouse.
It was smaller than the original condo but the view of the ocean and location right on the beach was perfect. The condo was clean and the building well kept and secure with locked entry. There were many restaurants and services within walking distance. I missed having a balcony to sit out and enjoy the sun. -

There are some problems with this address. #1 the garage will not accomodate our car so we had to scramble for parking every day. The low height of the garage should be in the disclosure. If there were two cars involved even if one fit in the garage, the other would have to go searching each time the other car was moved. #2 there was never hot water for showering in the 2nd bathroom. #3 Having to shut off the circuit breaker because the heater went whacky was a minor inconvenience. #4 no easy way to get a baby stroller into the lobby.
An overweight person would have an extremelly difficult time with the bathrooms. (very small)
We loved the views and ocean sounds, we never hear a peep from any neighbor and the place was well supplied all the way from bikes, boogie boards, BBQ, umbrellas, chairs, etc. Great kitchen in all regards, 3 great flat screen Tv's, comfortable beds, A short walk to many restaurants and shops.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The condo was stocked with everything we could have ever wanted and more. The owners thought of everything down to the last detail. The condo was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and acted as the perfect home away from home. There are several great restaurants within walking distance, but at least one night you'll have to stay in and cook dinner (in the fully stocked kitchen!) so you can watch the most beautiful sunsets out of every window/room in the place! We can't wait to go back again next year!

Overall thought they had done a good job renovating especially the kitchen, with the exception of the 2nd bathroom which was not great-but a big disappointment for us was not having a balcony or patio to enjoy the Ocean breezes and views ..plus the laundry was in the basement, which I didn't realize and a hassle to try to do laundry. The Bldg is older and in fair/good condition. The ocean views were very nice.

Penthouse in great condition and very clean, supplied with everything you could want. Great view of the beach, close as you can get to the beach. Lots of places to eat or drink within walking distance. Rc Church 2 blocks away. Good location.
Downside for me, TV in bedroom very hard to view (Close to bed); Master bathroom shower is great but other part of bathroom a little tight; unit has no ceiling fans.
Great place and good time had by all. Would return and recommend to friends. -

We had a very nice stay at this apartment. It was well-appointed and we appreciated the view of the ocean. We did not use any of the numerous beach items provided due to the weather during our stay, but we appreciated the fact that they were there for our convenience. We enjoyed riding the bikes up and down the boardwalk.

We own a home in the area but live overseas so we were happy to be in such a great location close to restaurants, bars, beach and fun! only suggestion is getting rid of the vertical blinds - they were cumbersome to use, often fell off and blocked the breeze

It appears to have been completely updated recently; new appliances, furniture, kitchen gear etc. The rooms were great for the four of us and we had plenty of space. We couldn't of asked for a better location! The condo is located just north of the Pacific Beach area which is full of restaurants, bars, shops etc. The condo is located just far enough north to be quiet and peaceful but with easy access to shops minutes away. We just returned home and have already recommended Bree's Condo others. Nice Job!

When you combine the ocean front location, condition of the unit which was completely furnished including items such as bikes and beach toys, the fact that the living room and 2 bedrooms were all ocean front, and it is a 4th floor penthouse unit with underground garage parking, what more could you ask for? Nancy and her staff were exceptional. They were all very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience. Thank you Nancy's Vacation Rentals.

We recently stayed in this amazing oceanfront rental. The views are great from every room - even the bedrooms are oceanfront! It has been recently updated and it shows. We are very finicky where we stay so it was nice to stay here. Everything was very clean and things looked new. They have everything you would need to stay with a family too - they even have two bikes included that looked new! The area has a great boardwalk with lots of restaurants nearby - you can walk to a lot of them. It's centrally located to the tourist attractions too. Unfortunately, we were working so we didn't have time to take any in. We can't wait to go back to this condo with our family so we can truly enjoy all San Diego has to offer!

Our vacation was amazing and staying in this condo was a big part of our experience! The location and view are amazing. We especially enjoyed having the windows open and listening to the ocean and feeling the fresh breeze blow through the unit. Pods of dolphins play right outside the window daily! We loved walking to great restaurants, riding bikes on the boardwalk, and people watching out the window. The condo is furnished with top class amenities...everything our family needed. We will definitely be back!
