IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE RENT WE HAVE A FULLY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IF THE KITCHEN IS LEFT CLEAN, THE TRASH PUT IN THE TRASH SHUTE 25 FEET DOWN THE HALL, AND NOTHING IS BROKEN OR DAMAGED.

Nice place to come back to after a day of sightseeing.
Many pros: Unit was very clean
2 full bathrooms were nice to have
MBa has new glassed in double shower
King bed in MBR
Secure covered parking under building
Drugstore and supermarket a block away
Kitchen pass through is very handy
Masonry building was quiet (in off season anyway)
Owner was good to work with
Lots of nearby restaurants and services
Wi-Fi in unit & common hot tub, but didn't use and can't vouch for them
Handy coin laundry on floor
3 TVs with videos, if that's your thing (not ours)
Pier and promenade for walking
Especially handy access to La Jolla area
a few cons: Kitchen is small, but adequate
Balcony is tucked back in building recess, with only a little sun at mid day
2nd BR is overstuffed with furniture. Unit is great for 2, would be OK for 4,
but if you are 6 plan on being crowded
Immediate area has been heavily used for many years by young beach
crowd seeking entertainment; so don't expect graciousness outside the
complex. This isn't meant to imply that there are any particular problems,
just advising what to expect. (2 blocks north nicer residential area begins)
And a few "it depends":
Furniture and décor are---well, "interesting".
Beachside location is very busy with the young crowd on nice weekends,
but it quiets down during the week..
If you use the heat, set it for about 15 degrees below what you want,
and adjust from there.
