This lovely home has 2 bedrooms and a 3rd bed separated by curtains. The upscale interior, chic decor, cleanliness and convenience made it an excellent value. The owner was very responsive to our concerns and made the check in/check out process a breeze. If we ever have a need to stay in San Diego again, we will definitely be checking to see if this property was available.

A family of 5 from Ireland, we rented this property for 1 week Dec -Jan 2013. It is in a private development that is gated with security, and shares top class facilities such as a pool, hot tub, brilliant gym, tennis and backetball courts and park for kids...we felt very safe in this quiet development which is located on Friars Road San Diego... to the left is the Mission Gorge & hills out of town - near by is Qualcomm Stadium NFL home of the Chargers 15mins walking distance - to the right is Friars road which has numerous shopping and outlets, and cinema's within 2-3 mile and eventually takes you down to the shore and sea world etc... a great area to stay.
We looked at houses along the shore but noted that high rental prices did not mean quality or space!! While this house really exceeded all our expectations : our party of 5 ... including my 2 sons [20 and 16 ] and daughter [13] had loads of space and very very comfortable living area ... large screen TV with full free cable and free wifi that was very good..
the owner is an interior designer and we could see this in thge style of the decor and for a rental had made some little touches like christmas decorations and lighting which was really nice ...& the house spotless clean
the house has 3 bedrooms with large double beds & a double fold down in the living room - all very comfortable and a well equiped kitchen .. parking is in the garage below...
we never saw the owner but i emailed her for directions to grocery shopping & a few other things & she came straight back to me ...
i gave a security deposit and got every $ promptly back!
overall this house, development, area, owner & San Diego in general in 5 out of 5!!

Monterey, CASpacious Condo - Great Value - Lovely Experience

We hadn't spent much time in San Diego, and wanted a place that would be relatively central to a myriad of local sites and resources.
This condo fit the bill perfectly. It took a bit decipher its location in regard to the through-ways and freeways - but then it was easy going to Ucsd or downtown or the Zoo (for example). Also there were nearby shops and stores.
We found the condo setting lovely - swimming, basketball, tennis, weight room and a dog park ! The condo itself was spacious and clean. It's stacked on two main floors (the one at the top is the master suite).
As described by other reviewers, there were a number of supplies already there - we only needed to get a few. The owner was friendly and available as needed.
If stairs are not a problem (and they weren't for us) it is a pretty huge value for the price. Maybe made only more interesting by the drive-in garage. -

I cannot say enough about how lucky we were to find this fabulous place. The place is clean, modern, conveniently located, and with amenities to boot. With so much to offer, this place is a hidden gem. Additionally, Jodie made our stay so much more memorable with her professionalism, friendliness, and the way she made the process of renting the place so easy and smooth. We will definitely be repeat customers. For those who have yet to rent - Be ready to enjoy the comfort and convenience.

The house was delightful and well maintained. It was easy to reach from the highway, taking only 15 minutes to get downtown. The pool and fitness center were excellent. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Extra towels were provided. The property was spotless. The price is exceptionally good and my deposit was refunded immediately. Joanne had explicit instructions for me and the arrival and departure were very smooth. I recommend this property highly. I was attending a meeting in San Diego so the space was greatly appreciated.

This place was just perfect for my family's needs! Close to just about everything in San Diego. There was plenty of room and the kitchen was fully equipped. Added feature that was so helpful was the garage with the washer and dryer. Great to unload a bunch of kids from the beach and get everything cleaned up! The upstairs master suite was a wonderful amenity as well. To top it all off, there is one of the nicest outdoor areas for kids - the pool, tennis and playground are some of the best I have seen.
I am just so thankful we found this wonderful rental and really appreciated the caring and thoughtful service by the owner. I highly recommend it! -

We as family of four plus a friend of my 10 year old daughter stayed at this property on Labor Day weekend. The property was a perfect fit for our group. It was cleaned and well kept. I also would like to mentioned that it makes you feel at home with fully stock hardware in the kitchen and there is also wash/dry machine in the garage.The high point for me was the master bedroom up stair which offers privacy for us parents after a full day of out door activity. It is also conveniently located near attractions the city has to offer.I should mention the owner Joanne was such a nice lady. It was a pleasure interfacing with her.
Last but not least, there are tennis courts at the clubhouse. So bring your brackets if you or your family members are into it.
