Description from the manager
The best of both worlds! Not only do the 3 view decks of this beautiful home overlook tranquil Sail Bay, the home is also about 100 yards from the ocean. This property recently underwent a major renovation by professional designers, and has been featured in San Diego Magazine. This is not a typical rental with sparse decorations; this is a lovely designer home and is immaculately maintained . As beautiful as the decor is, it is matched by the views of the beach and water below.
The living room has a 48" HDTV with surround sound and remote controlled lighting in both the living room and dining room. The dining room sits just back of the...Read more
Sail Bay Luxury Bayfront Residence
San Diego, California
Additional Location Information
Mission Beach is part of a continuous stretch of beach known as The Strand which extends over two miles between Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean. This is San Diego’s most popular beach with good reason. You can choose to spend your time on the ocean side playing in the surf and taking in the lively scene along the boardwalk, or relax on the more tranquil sands and boardwalk of Mission Bay just across the strand.
The Mission Beach boardwalk runs parallel to the entire beach and along much of Mission Bay from the boat channel in South Mission all the way up to Pacific Beach. It’s a great starting point for a day of bike riding or other activities like rollerblading, skating, skateboarding or some of the best people watching around!
Activities include surfing, body boarding, swimming, kayaking, sunbathing, skating, jogging, boating, windsurfing, picnicking and more. Swimmers and surfers use separate swimming areas, which are designated by City lifeguards. South Mission Beach is a volleyball Mecca.
For the Kids Kids will love Mission Beach for its wide variety of land and water activities. Swimming, body boarding, and sandcastle building will keep them busy until it’s time to go home. Belmont Park is an amusement park full of eateries, beach shops and family fun including a merry-go-round, bumper boats, and arcade games, is next to the Big Dipper rollercoaster. There’s even an indoor Olympic-sized swimming pool called “The Plunge†at Mission Beach adjacent to Belmont Park.
Older kids and teens and adults will love The Wave House which features "The Flowrider" an artificial wave machine that tests surfing skills, and the Soundwave for live music.
