The house was great. So well equipped. The games area was a big hit with the kids and the garden area is fantastic. It would have been nice if in the guest information could have included some recommendations for restaurants in the area and if they were child friendly but a minor point really.
Proximity to beach was great and no noise. Would definitely go back. -

This house is about 2 blocks from the strand along Pacific Beach and one block from the pathway along Mission Bay. Restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, grocery stores are all within easy walking distance. The home is beautifully kept and well appointed. Great attention to detail is obvious in the cleaning and preparation of the house and yard. Everything you need for the beach is provided. There are 5 bikes but should be noted that 4 are adult bikes and 1 kids bike. The only other thing you could need for the beach are wet suits but there are several places very close by that rent them for about $12-$15/day. The neighborhood is very close to the beach and all the action, but very quiet, especially at night. Would definitely stay here again based on the location, condition of the home/yard, amenities. Thanks to the owner/management for making our stay great.

We recently stayed at the Braemer Beach House in San Diego. The location was perfect, easy walk to the beach and the bay, even with two young children. In addition, there were a number of restaurants and shops, as well as a grocery store, within walking distance. Despite being close to all of this, however, it was just enough off the main drag to be a suprisingly quiet little street. The house itself was very nice and clean and stocked with just about every amenity you could think of!! Needless to say, you will not need to bring anything other than your clothes! The backyard is ideal for families. . . it is a nice little grass yard that is enclosed and has a locked gate. The gas grill came in handy too, for those days that we just didn't want to fight the crowds at the restaurants or were too tired from our daily excursions. Our experience with Nancy's Vacation Rentals was positive as well. All in all, this was a wonderful vacation and we would not hesitate to rent this home again!!

My wife, children (10, 9, 6) and I stayed here for a week over New Years. What a great place. The house has everything you need, the location is convenient to all San Diego area attractions and the local area has great dining options and conveniences.

We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving. House was very clean and modern, well stocked kitchen and great location. Just a 2-3 block walk to both the bay and the ocean. We had our dog along as well and the backyard is fenced in, so it was great to be able to let him roam around the back yard. The kids enjoyed the fooseball and air hockey in the carpeted garage/rec room.
Overall, a great experience and would recommend to others. -

This home had all the comforts of my own home. The beds were firm and the sheets were soft. The kitchen was fully equipped and the game room was filled with beach chairs and everything you would need for a day on the beach and more. My favorite perk was the paper towel, toilet paper and dish soap that was available when we walked in. This really does not cover all this home had to offer but I can tell you it was quite comfortable and was filled with a lot of joy and laughter while we were there. This is a great family place! Enjoy!

We love this house! This was our second year and we will definitely be back again. It is so easy to stay here as everything is provided for you. Close to the beach. Close to the bay. Close to restaurants. What more could you ask for? Very child friendly as well!

First time renting a rental property/house as opposed to hotel. Nancy's Vacation Rental made it very easy and efficient. They helped me pinpoint the best property for my needs, answered all my questions within 24hrs, sent reminder emails of when payment will be processed, and did exactly as they said they would. Check in was a breeze with the code they emailed. The house was very very clean, even my husband was impressed. He had planned to wash all the bedsheets himself, but didn't have to once he saw how clean everything was. Lots of towels provided, enough toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap, and even a first aid kid (that we didn't have to use). Beds were very comfortable, although the queen bedroom didn't have a big tv like the one in the master. But did have a patio door/window to see the beautiful flowers just outside. The garage that was converted to a games room was awesome to keep my kids happy. Fooseball, air hockey, wii. But it did get a bit stuffy and hot in there in the daytime. The bikes were great for exploring the area, even had one for my 7 year old. Every other day I would bike along the bay and then the ocean. Very beautiful. Location the best as can walk to ocean or bay and restaurants. The kitchen was small though, but we mostly ate out or used BBQ. Not enough pots as one was burnt out, and another very dirty. Safe was locked when we arrived, no big deal for us and we just didn't use it. Had no problems with security. The back gate can be locked inside and out, so kids can go in backyard and games room with us worrying about them. Sharing the one bathroom among the 6 of us taught to be very considerate. It felt like a home because it had all the necessities and extras, including many board games, that a home would have. So, we loved it! Loved the shutters on the windows to keep light out or let light in.

The service was excellent. We had a minor problem with the remote for the bedroom flat screen and it was addressed quickly.
This beach house is a comfortible home and beautifully restored.
The location is perfect( two blocks to Pacific Beach and two blocks from Mission Bay). We walked to everything including shopping and restaurants. -

We loved our stay at The Braemar Beach House! It truly was our home away from home. Immaculate and well decorated. Perfect for our family. Five minute walk to Pacific Beach and Sail Bay. Close to so many places to eat and shop. The kids loved the gameroom and large, grassy backyard. The wagon was great for us to pack all the wonderful beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas that are included for us to use. We will definitely be back for our annual vacation in San Diego!

We spent four nights at the Braemar Beach House and were very satisfied. The house isn't huge, but there was plenty of room for our family of five (including three kids 7 and under.)
The house was very comfortable, with everything you might need to enjoy your stay. A lot of thought has clearly been put into equipping the house for vacation comfort.
The garage's conversion into a gameroom/lounge was very popular with the kids, and the backyard is essentially another room of the house (weather permitting.)
Great location - an easy walk to the beach and its accompanying restaurants and shopping. Also remarkably close to SeaWorld.
We hope to stay there again. -

My family and I stayed here for 4 weeks in January/February. We couldn't have picked a better place. The house was comfortable, meticulously clean and well landscaped. Nancy's group was extremely helpful and attentive, and the owner was also very friendly and a great source of information. The home's layout, game room and outdoor space were great for our 2 young kids (5 and 3 years old). The location couldn't be better - very short walk to beach, bay, pier, shops, etc. Pb was a relaxed, comfortable neighborhood and we definitely enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely work with Nancy's Vacation Rentals again, and would love to return to this particular rental.

Our family have just come home from a Wonderful Stay at the Braemar Beach House. It is in a great position and Nancy and The Ownwer really looked after us. The House is perfect for Families or Couples who like some privacy. I would 100% recomend it to anyone visiting San Diego.

Our friends stayed here and strongly recommend it to us. We spent four days in this house and found it to be fantastic. Our boys loved the game room, we walked a few blocks to the beach, were near grocery stores and great restaurants, and enjoyed all of the space. Eating breakfast on the big backyard table each am was a real plus and the house had everything (complete cookware, coffee, tea, pack n play, high chair, beach toys and chairs, Wii, air hockey...). We just booked again for next year,

We had a wonderful stay at the beach house while visiting in October. My family (2 small children) as well as another family and their small child stayed in the home. The location was perfect; we could walk to the beach as well as restaurants and the board walk. When the weather was dreary we were able to occupy our time in the awesome game room in the garage. What a perfect addition to the house that kept even our little children occupied in the evening and when the weather wasn't really beach weather. The house has everything you can think of for what you might need on your stay. We utilized the wagon they provided when going to the beach as well as the washer and dryer. We especially enjoyed the back patio and yard. I don't think we can ever travel again with our families and not compare it to this amazing rental home. If we are ever back in San Diego we will absolutely stay again!!

Wow pretty much sums up our experience here! We go to San Diego every year and this was the first time we rented a house there. We wanted to take our dogs as well as our 6 month old baby and mom, so we needed space to be comfortable. This place delivered! The check in process was so easy and I love the keyless entry. So convenient! Also, traveling with an infant is not so easy I've learned and they were gracious enough to let us check in an hour or so early. My daughter was able to take a nice nap since she decided not to sleep in the car. We walked in and it was so clean and welcoming. There was even shampoo & conditioner provided as well as so many other amenities that would take forever to list! Everything was so comfortable and convenient to everything. The owners have really kept this place in immaculate condition. We loved our experience and will definitely be booking there again next year.

This home was excellent for the vacation we needed. There were four adults and three children under the age of three. The yard allowed us the freedom and safety to allow the children to play leisurely. The game room, which is really a detached garage, was awesome and allowed the adults to retreat while the children were sleeping so we didn't have to be quiet. It was about a five minute walk to the beach and bay. The home came equiped with a wagon, four bikes, six-eight beach chairs, sand toys, a wii, fois ball table and air hockey. We will definitley be returning to this home, especially while are children are young! This was a perfect vacation home!

The location of this house was very good. A couple blocks from ocean and 1 block to bay. Many restaurants and activities near by. The back yard was great for families with young children and the games in the garage were good for teenagers and adults alike. Bicycles, beach toys, chairs, all provided. Very neat and clean. I would definately stay here again.

The only downside for our family, because we are not used to it, was the one bathroom! But the bikes and the boogie boards made up for it because we didnt want to have to transport all that stuff as well as everything else we had to bring!

I would highly recommend this home to any family or group of people looking for a convenient and comfortable place to vacation. We have 4 kids ages 8 and under and it was perfect. The game room was fabulous, beach stuff was supplied (sand shovels, buckets, boogie boards, chairs, red wagon for carrying it all) and we so appreciated the outdoor shower after we returned. We used the grill, lounged in the beautiful backyard and fully relaxed. Perfect location, 2 blocks from the bay and beach. The bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of storage space. One of my favorite features was the huge dining table with long benches that fit everything and everybody at every meal. We will absolutely be back!

What more can I say? My husband and two young sons had a fantastic time in San Diego and a large part of that was the comfortable and wonderfully-appointed home we were fortunate to stay in. The yard was perfect for the boys and all of us enjoyed the playroom in the converted garage. I even was able to enjoy one of the books from the home's library!
The location was perfect for beach access and close to everything else! The freeway, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping... did I mention the beach?! And so close to Sea World and Legoland is a short trip north on the I-5.
We really can't wait to come back... my husband is already dreaming of boogie boarding again - thanks for providing so many fun extras for our family. I wish we had known there was already a pack'n'play and high chair - we wouldn't have brought ours!
Thanks again for making our stay so easy... and for mailing back the two shirts we left in the closet. Hope to be back very soon!

Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Close walk to the bay or ocean. The game room was a nice bonus. We really enjoyed our stay at the Braemar beach house. Photos don't do it justice. This was the second time we rented from Nancy's and were not disappointed. They are very professional and responsive.

The house was sparkling clean, modern, well-appointed and affordable. Our family of six had a wonderful time on our Spring vacation. The DVD player was not working and it was replaced within a matter of hours. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The location was convenient to everything and very close to the boardwalk, yet very quiet. The gameroom in the detached garage was a huge hit with the kids and I was able to catch up on laundry while they played foosball, air hockey, and wii.

I loved this place! It had everything that you need for a wonderful holiday.
Location is great. My 4 year old daughter could walk to the beach and the bay. Ralphs supermarket is also within easy walking distance. Trader Joes and Henry's a longer walk or very short car ride away. Street was quite; a block or two closer to the beach party atmosphere may have changed that.
Enclosed garden was great for my young children to run around in and the games room entertained older children who visited us.
All the kitchen stuff was very clean and worked perfectly.
Rode the bikes, pushed the prams and used the boogie boards. It was these extras that made a great place a wonderful place to stay. -

We had a great stay at your home! We enjoyed its location, walking distance to the beach and bay, wonderful for bike rides with the family! All that your home had to offer really made our family vacation that much more enjoyable. From the board games, wii, air hockey and foosball, to the bikes, boogie boards, and sand toys, we were never without something to do!
The only reason I didn't give it a 5th star was because we could have used another bathroom! Otherwise it was great!! Thank you for opening your home to our family!

I rented this house for my in-laws and family members who came into town for our wedding. The check-in was seamless, the house was clean, well-maintained. The garage/game room was full of games, bikes, beach gear. Yards were gorgeous. Location was great for family, not too close to bars and night life, so it was quiet in the evening. However close enough to bay, shopping and food for a nice walk during the day. All my guests who stayed had nothing but good things to say. Would definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful time at this beach rental. Every morning, at the crack of dawn, my Father in law who is from Utah would wake us all up to walk to the beach. He could not get enough, and it became a quick pattern for us all. We would get a hot cup of coffee on the way, watch the waves, and the surfers, and walk in the sand. Then we'd eat breakfast at Kono's, a local favorite. The house is close to all things wonderful, the bay, the beach and fabulous eats! And what a nice yard to relax in during the afternoons! We will definitely rent again!

We stayed at Braemar house for a month and had an amazing family vacation. Staying for so long, we really had time to explore the area and love this house. Close to the ocean and to the bay, this house gives vacationers the option of choosing a fun, busy, amazing ocean or the calm, relaxing waters of the bay. Amazing restaurants (we recommend zanzibar, mission and Jrdn) and shopping (american apparel, urban outfitters and local shops) are all walking distance. The location is everything one could want and compared with other areas in San Diego, pacific beach offers a great value. This house was really a home and perfect for our family. Our children loved the backyard and the game room is amazing for older children and their parents. If you are looking for a beautiful vacation, for the whole family (including the four legged members!!!), in a perfect location close to beaches, children's park, dog parks, sea world, a great spa, and everything else San Diego has to offer look no further.

We really liked the location of this place. It is within walking distance to both the beach and the bay. We have two boys ages 2 and 4, so the bay is a good change from the beach. Also, this house has a garage with a game room, which the kids loved. The value was great considering the 3 bedrooms, so we had one, the boys had one and mom had the other. We would recommend this place and would stay there again. The only recommendation for them is to change out the coffee table with a more size appropriate one and to make sure the shower curtain gets washed.

We have two toddlers, age 3 and 2, and wanted a place to relax and wind down but close to the beach. Braemar House was perfect! 3 bedrooms could have easily accommodated 2 families and was a bit big for the 4 of us. Covered patio with slate flooring and gas grill made for fun meals and relaxing. the boys loved running around in the spacious and fenced-in yard on wonderful grass! Although our kids were a bit young for this, the garage-converted gameroom with foozball table and air hockey would be great for any age. We were able to enjoy the Seaworld fireworks two blocks away on Mission Bay and also could walk to Pacific Beach (3 blocks). Grocery store, CVS, etc. all within a few blocks. We called once for a broken DVD remote and the guy came within 30 minutes, very prompt!! the house was clean and lots of fun with plasma TVs, lots of board games, the gameroom in the garage, and wonderful yard. great for a family with toddlers or kids any age.

Clean and comfortable, quiet neighborhod. Great parking,
close to activities. The owners were extremely accomodating, everything was in great repair. Our boys, 10 & 12 really enjoyed the game room. We had family tournaments, a time to come together and build family memories.
