Outdoor recreation paradise. Sail and kayak in this expansive ocean bay. Endless opportunities for beach play, and exercise or basking in the sun on the beach. Miles of flat boardwalk for walking, biking, roller blading, and skateboarding. Close walk to restaurants and shops. You are about 15 minutes from San Diego airport and down town, the world famous Zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town, Birch Acquarium, and the San Diego airport. Sea World is about a 5 minute drive just across the bay. Mission Beach is in the nucleus of San Diego and provides so much right here yet very close to other areas that are a must to visit while here. What I enjoy so much is the ability to walk or ride bikes for miles on the boardwalk while bordering the beach and water

Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Had the pleasure of staying three nights in this wonderful home with another couple. The setup was perfect! One bedroom on the second floor with full bath for us and another on the lower level with another full bath for them. The home is very, very clean and well kept (Thanks to Rosa: She's awesome)! The floor plan lighting and windows allow for all that SoCal sunshine to shine through! The garage was nice to have as parking can be tough in this neighborhood. We were literally steps from the beach and boardwalk! One very minor issue: the downstairs bedroom could use a small portable heater in the winter bc it does get a bit chilly. Bottom line: Great place and our overall experience was awesome!
