We had a great time at Bonaire. It was very cozy, clean and fully stocked. The jacuzzi tub was a great addition.
It was a perfect place for my husband and I and our dog Laila. It was a perfect location as well. Close to the beach, the dog beach, great cafes and a short drive to downtown San Diego. We will definately be back. -

The home was great, the kitchen served all my needs and some of the amenities really made it a great place. I rented a small studio, and small is a bit of an understatement, but it was just for me and the photos on the website were honest and clear about the size.
The whole place was cozy, and the hot tub was great. Also- onsite laundry: awesome!
There were some nitpicks: I wasn't renting a car there (just taking the bus and using Car2Go) and they provided three awesome cruiser bikes to get around the beach. The problem is that these bikes do not appear to be maintained and the handlebar hinges on two of them were lose and came undone, which is a safety issue. Nancy's, you might want to throw in a few helmets as well. Paper towels were provided, but it looked like someone had spilled coffee on them. The OB locations are also situated a little far from the action... but it's not too bad. -

We both enjoyed the vacation rental. When looking for directions as to where the vacation rental was located the management service was very friendly and helped us along the way. It was a little confusing getting to the rental but after we found it, we loved every minute. It was a pretty quite environment and the parking was very convient. The use of kitchen appliances as well as dishes was very helpful in cooking. The bed was very comfortable and the environment was very relaxing. We didn't use the outer amenities such as the grill, hot tub, and seating area but they were there if we needed them. The use of the washing machine and dryer was very helpful especially since we had stayed a few days. The location was close to the ocean, Sea World, local restaurants. We would recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

The studio has everything you need,well equipped and very nicely decorated. The patio is just perfect for sitting there and listening to the ocean and the location is just great!You dont even need a car. I will come back.

We loved the service we recieved and loved any interaction we had with management. We like the room and how homey it was. It was clean and had everything there we could have asked for. The only complaints we would have is the matress was stained very badly underneath all the sheets. Also there was some dripping from the roof onto our car which left a brown residue on the back end of our car. But we enjoyed the location. It is very close to Sea World and not too far from the San Diego Zoo. Also was under 30 mins away from Coronado Island. We liked the location the best and the dripping on the car and the matress the least.

We were disappointed to find ourselves on a very busy alley. Although the property was right on the ocean, our apartment did not have a view of it. The apartment was very adequate, and the items we called about were quickly remedied. We didn't plan our trip far enough in advance to be picky about the location, so most of our disappointments were our own fault. Nancy and her staff were very accomodating and professional. We will definitely contact her again if we plan to visit the San Diego area. Having free laundry equipment available was a nice plus that wasn't expected. On arrival, at night, much later than we planned, we couldn't find the apartment and finally called the emergency number. The person who answered was extremely helpful, staying on the line until we found the right apartment and our parking spot. The parking was also problematic, being a very specific spot in the alley. One of us always had to get out of the car to be sure we weren't blocking a garage door or hitting some electrical equipment at the other end of our spot. On the other hand, we got to wear light jackets nearly every day, which was wonderful for a couple of Zonies.

For a very special few days, we stayed in Ocean Beach. It was fantastic, and just right. The location, views, proximity to the romantic cliffs, chairs available to watch the sunset, were perfect. The room was just what we needed (though the bed, on wheels on the hard floor, did move around a good bit). The service was prompt and easy and responsive.
Really just about perfect. -

We stayed at the studio and loved it! It is convenient to eveything and easy to get around the area...close to anything and everything you could possibly need. Studio was perfect for us...outside area to hang out in and get some sun and the view of the ocean--Fantastic. Will definatley be coming back!

Every one we spoke to was helpful, friendly and polite. I was disappointed when the DVD player and Internet was broken they fixed it but didn't make up for our ruined evening. Our first vacation without our daughter since she was born 2 years ago.
The studio was as I expected, small but well appointed and cozy. No view out windows, but we knew that. The right price! The sheets & towels weren't new, but clean (no beach towels though). The bedspread had hair on it (dog, person?), so we pulled it off the bed and didn't use it while we were there.
We brought bicycles and it was a quick ride to OB for delicious, well priced cafes, the pier and beaches. One day we rode all the way to Pacific Beach and back. It was a quiet neighborhood and a quick drive to San Diego downtown for nights out.
The hot tub was the cleanest we've seen and easy to use. We could hear the ocean waves at night out the window. The tiny kitchen was good for the size. It was nice to have the large mirrors on the closet. We didn't use the bath tub with the jets, but it was a good feature. I was happy there was a hair dryer.
Liked Least: Construction or cleaning upstairs at 8am most mornings. Somewhat understandable mid week, but not ideal for vacation. On a night we planned to stay in we discovered a broken wine glass in the cabinet, the DVD player didn't work with our rented Red Box Dvds and the Internet went down so we couldn't even stream. I didn't feel that it was an "emergency" to call their after hours number (we discovered the DVD & Internet issue around 10pm) and so we waited until the next morning. They were apologetic and polite and sent someone over that day to fix it, but it was our last day. They did not offer to make it up to us, just politely apologized. Lost evening.
Overall we enjoyed it and would probably consider the studio or any of the other apartments at Villa Caribe for another vacation. -

we were pleasently suprized with how clean this little place was and how it had "everything" that we needed for our stay... the view from the back yard was very relaxing to look out at the ocean and see surfers and even a seal. The location was great, it seems every single place we wanted to see was within 45min at most. recommend wild sarfari park, sea world, coronado island, and all the sea towns north of san diego, and a favorite, torrey pines state park...loved this area and will be back again!

My husband and I wanted a last minute trip to the San Diego area so we got on vrbo. We had never been to ocean beach so we thought we would check it out. We needed a place that was pet friendly and when I called, this studio happened to be available. From the beginning Nancy was very helpful and friendly. We were able to get early check in because the previous guest had left the day before.. The studio was a really good size, so much better than we expected. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed and the jacuzzi tub was great. Rentals are usually cheaply furnished, this was definitely not the case, I would love to have this getaway as my own. The patio/yard has an amazing view, we had our coffee in the morning and our wine at night watching and listening to the waves crash on the rocks, and the great thing was that our small dog was fenced in so he was able to run around and enjoy the yard along with us. So relaxing! We went to the farmers market on Wednesday evening that everyone talked about and had a great time. We also ate at 4 of the restaurants Nancy recommended and enjoyed them all . Ocean Beach is an interestsing and eclectic town, I would recommend checking it out.

Booked the Bonaire studio at the last minute for a weekend stay and Nancy was very accommodating. The studio was clean and comfy. Although lacking a window view, a walk out to the property reveals an amazing view at the start of Sunset Cliffs. The only downside was the parking situation, as it is outside and extremely tight for a sports-sedan. Perfect little spot for the value conscious traveling with a pet.
