Green Valley, AZgreat location for the beach and seeing the sights
Left on 04/10/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We really liked the condo. Kitchen could use some updating. Not enough flatwear , cups or glasses to cover 2 meals a day for 4 adults. Had to run dishwasher alot. Broken coffeepot was replaced in a timely way.Could use a plastic pitcher for making juice.

We had over all a pleasant experience however, it was a true dissapointment that we could not access the sea by your backyard, the electricity went out a couple times (breakers) and there is no way this can accomodate 6, were were 5 and we could not all watch TV together because of the insufficient seating in the living area.

ArgentinaNice house but a lot of problems
Left on 02/28/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Nice House, great view and good location but many problems.
- In first the morning my kids went outside to play and they found near the hot tub "two dog dirties" which we had to clean. This happend againg the next day.
- The dishes, which they supposed to be cleaned, were very dirty and we had to clean them again. Moreover the dishes are all differents and not complete, I know this is just a detail but the house is supossed to be first level (at least for the price).
- During our second night there was a very hard wind, chairs moved because of the wind all arround the backyard. Also the cover tub blew off and a lot of sand went inside the tub. The wind was so hard that it moved the bbq!!. The tub were not cleaned a refilled again
- when we tried to use the bbq, the gas container was empty.
So they offer the house with bbq and hot tub and we paid for these amennities but we could not use them.
As I told you, the house is very nice, it has a great view and it is very good located but we faced a lot a problems and it was so expensive to faced these kind of problems.
Despite the problems we had, We liked and enjoyed a lot San Diego a we probably will go againg next year, but I would not rent this house again and would not recomend.
Also Nancy's Vacation Rentals service was very poor because if you know that a guest is having problems, at least you should come over and see what is going on.
I am sorry if you do not like what I am telling you, but I am very objetive and honest.
For the price of this house you should find a much better option. -

No turkey or gravy...no cooking unless we wanted to:) My daughters and I were able to relax and hang out, shop a little, and enjoy the cool weather.
Beautiful rooms, kitchen, and neighborhood. Ocean view and great restaurants within walking distance. -

This house is amazing! Everything we needed, in excellent condition and perfect for children. We stayed in the St. Lucia suite for 7 days and met all the neighbors. Pretty much adopted another child, since our kids were inseperatable from him! Great location, easy access to grocery stores or last minute DVD run. The beds were comfortable and dishes and linens all matched. We will be back every year. Thanks for letting us stay and don't change a thing, it is perfect!

We really enjoyed our week in St. Lucia, and it was hard to leave! This is the only 2-bdr unit in the complex, and I was grateful we decided to upgrade from a 1-bdr. It's the only unit without a floor above or below it, and two sliding glass doors look out onto the patio & ocean. The kitchen was very clean & modern, with all the appliances & kitchenware we needed. The swiveling flatscreen t.v. in the living room came in handy as we stayed there during the Olympics. I let the boys have the master bedroom with the t.v., and we hooked up the Wii we brought for those down times at night when I wanted to watch the Olympics. There is no direct access to the beach, and the closest sandy beach is about a 10 minute walk. There is a very small (20 feet wide?) rocky beach adjacent to the property, but you need to walk up to the street, left, & back down to get there. The boys enjoyed the great cliff-side (railed) path in the sandstone that takes you all the way to the beginning of Newport ave (Ocean Beach main drag). We enjoyed the large patio w/hot tub & nice stone tables. There were maintenance guys out there hosing everything off every couple of days. There is garage parking for 3 of the units, including ours, so that was nice. Washer/Dryer in the garage was handy, rarely full, with soap provided (the joy of simple things in life!). The garage and doors to the units are all controlled by codes. We couldn't get our code to work, and when I called Nancy's Vacation Rentals and left a message, they called immediately back and gave me a new code that worked. I actually got 2 calls from two different employees that had received my message on a Saturday. Any time we had an issue, they were right on it - couldn't have asked for better service! The unit was very clean, the bedding was cozy & modern & beds comfortable. Bathroom was clean & modern as well. We stayed in Ocean Beach both because of the small town vibe (unlike the "spring break" atmosphere of neighboring Mission & Pacific Beaches), and because it was so convenient for where we needed to go. Very close to the San Diego Harbor where we enjoyed touring the midway aircraft Carrier Museum, as well as Sea World, the marina (try Mitches seafood - excellent fish tacos!), and anything you need to access on I-5 or I-8.

Dallas, TXNice view, description was not accurate.
Left on 07/25/2012 for a stay in July 2012
This was a nice place, with a terrific view of the ocean. However, we did not know beforehand that there wasn't an a/c in this unit. The first day we got there was pretty hot. After opening the windows, it cooled down a bit. I just wished they were more clear in the description of their property. We also didn't find any movies or games and that was mentioned in their description, I would have brought some with me if I had known. Overall, it is a big space and has a nice view, but they need to bette clear and accurate in their description of their property.

Since at least 90% of the homes in the beach area of San Diego do NOT have AC, we don't think of "disclosing" the fact that one does not have AC. We do, however, advertise prominently the ones that do have it so guests understand why the price is higher for those. They are often hot upon arrival if they have been closed up but opening them up to the ocean breezes for a few minutes usually cools them off quite quickly to the nice ambient ocean air temperature. I will check and replenish the family games in all the units but we do not supply movies. We tried that and they disappear as quickly as we put them in. Nancy

Charleston, SCExcellent location and views. Would come back.
Left on 01/26/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Had some problems getting into unit upon arrival but this was attributed primarily to late notification to us of access codes (we had been away from home on East Coast for a few days and e-mail was sent when we were en-route). Recent conversion to Nancy's from another rental agency also believed to contribute to some confusion. Luckily, we were able to reach someone by phone to help us and, once we gained access and became situated, everything went smoothly. Nancy (and staff) very helpful and prompt in addressing our needs. Although there was some confusion about parking and garage arrangements, this was also addressed quickly. Unit and amenities were above-average overall and the location is hard to beat for access to everything in the San Diego area. Views of the ocean are outstanding, including amazing sunsets. Would definitely use Nancy's Vacation Rentals again and recommend this location, especially for adults.
