This San Diego Vacation Rental is one of the best locations in Mission Beach: just a couple blocks south of Belmont Amusement Park, 100 steps to put your toes in the water of the Pacific Ocean and just across the street is the lovely 4,000 acre Mission Bay Aquatic Park with a young children's playground just two blocks away.

The coffee table was too big for the living room and after banging our knees on it a couple of times, we moved it into the bedroom. The pullout couch was dirty. Poor apartment layout which made me feel like I didn't want to be there. The first nights stay, we were awoken to a man screaming at the top of his lungs for 15 minutes at the park below. The third night, at 2am, we were awoken again by two Jamaicans screaming at each other in the parking lot of the complex, obscenities and the N word for 20 minutes. Lights went on everywhere. There was mold in the laundry basket. The garage door failed to open and we missed dinner reservations. Management and the owner got this resolved quick.
Regardless of the inconveniences, I believe it was just bad timing for us and I would still recommend this location to a casual couple. Even though I loved the fact that it was so close to the beach and under the location tab I checked excellent for that reason only, and the excellent price per night, I'd still spend more elsewhere. -

Nothing could have made this vacation better.Loved the condo, it was perfect for us! We used the bikes, boogie boards, chairs, and sand toys every day. It was so awesome. Loved being so close to the beach, and to the roller coaster, we didnt drive anywhere the whole week. It was so nice to not have to deal with a check in and out. Everything was really clean, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Couldnt have asked for a smoother process.

This was a beautifully decorated condo, but it was in a wrong location for us. A neighbor was up at all hours of the night, talking on his cell phone and smoking dope. The condo is right next to the main drag, you can hear the traffic zoom by and then there's the dumpster in the alley full of flies right below the condo balcony, that managed to fly in. They really should provide a fly swatter! And an iron as we couldn't locate one.
The mattress was another issue. If you are into hard mattresses and not getting any rest due to noisy neighbors than this is the place for you.
We liked the keyless entry and the fact that they provide secure parking. The bicycles were a big plus, but could use a basket for carrying essentials.
They did provide internet service, cable and phone.
The kitchen was small but had everything we needed.
We did like the fact how clean it was, it was spotless!

This was a great little place to stay. It wasn't right on the beach, but was very close, making it affordable. Belmont Park was right next door, putting it right the center of everything. It is just steps away from some great places to eat, and there was a huge park just across the street. The place was really clean and well maintained. I think my only real gripe is the bed was well used and there was no screen door on the slider. The garage though was a saving grace for all this. Mission beach gets very crowded and parking is a premium, so haveing a personal garage space was the best thing.

We loved the location. The condo was spotless with new furniture and was decorated in a style the would fit all tastes. The added bonus of the bikes and beach chairs were wonderful. We used them everyday and had a great time riding around the boardwalk. The check in directions were so easy to follow. I did call Nancy's vacation once with a question and they were prompt and friendly. The price was great as well.I would highly recommend it!

The condo was cozy for my son and me. We stayed 3 nights. It was great, but living out of suitcases much longer could get old. The bikes were a lot of fun, and most everything we needed was within walking distance. Mission Beach is a wonderful place but we wish it were a little warmer in June.

This place was perfect!!! This beautifully beach themed apartment is a great getaway only steps from the beach. The apartment sleeps 4 people very comfortably and has a calming view of the ocean from the master bedroom. There are unexpected luxuries in this cutie like high end bed linens/towels and a big screen TV. The kitchen is well equipped for either grabbing a snack before you hit the sand or making dinner. There is even a deck with a BBQ if you don't feel like wandering down the street for some of the best pizza you will ever have outside of Chicago.
You can't go wrong with this rental if you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation. Trust me you will never want to leave!

Denise's Beach Retreat is a great condo to enjoy some time to close to the beach. The condo is newly remodeled, with great colors and furniture. It sleeps comfortably 4 people and it only a minute from the beach and within walking distance to great entertainment and restaurants. I had a great time with my family there and can only recommend it. Next time I will stay there again!
