This nicely landscaped 5-unit apartment on the ground floor is in a quiet neighborhood of Pacific Beach on Haines St between Fortuna and Pacific Beach Drive, just a couple blocks from lovely Sail Bay, the part of 4000 acre Mission Bay Aquatic Park that is the closest to the ocean, and one mile from SeaWorld.
It features two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds, and two full bathrooms each with a tub/shower combination. The living room sofa also makes into a sofabed for extra sleeping room, if needed. There is a... large flatscreen cable TV, cable internet with WiFi and a phone with unlimited nationwide calling. A gas-log fireplace adds warmth and ambiance in the winter months. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking and eating at home and there is also a gas BBQ grill on a small patio with an outdoor table for four.
The kitchen has a breakfast table for four and the dining room area also has a dining table for four with an extra leaf. Parking for two cars, one in the garage and the other on the side of the building. Coin-op laundry room with laundry soap provided.
This is a comfortable family home close to everything but economical enough that you can still take in SeaWorld, LegoLand and the San Diego Zoo or Safari Park.

Easy check in/out with garage parking; great location; great facilities in the condo; could have been a little cleaner; well-stocked kitchen and baths
close to the water

This was our 4th year renting through Nancy's but the first in this property. It was not as spacious, sunny, or luxurious as our previous rental which was not available. However, I think it was a great value and it was very functional and clean. The kitchen was well equipped and overall the place was comfortable and quiet. The best feature was the proximity to the water (bay) and especially the children's playground--perfect for anyone with a young child like we have. There were plenty of beach towels, beach bikes, and beach toys as well.
A greatly deserved vacation away from the cold.

The condo was very nice. The bike's & beach toys were a plus. There were plenty of pillows & blankets. The location was what was nice for us because most all we had planned were short distances from there. a clock that we assume went over the mantel, was found on the dinning table when we got there. The parking was the biggest downfall. We had a mini-van rented & the garage was tiny. We did make due with front parking, till the motor home showed up.All in all it was very nice.
Dark, Old, Terrible Parking

My parents and inlaws were staying in this rental for 10 days during my wedding. They had many concerns when arriving, which were all reported to Nancy's, and I must say that the concerns were all heard or addressed quickly- thank you Nancy's!
The interior is dark, with dark wood and dark furniture and a dark carpet...darker than what the photos represent.
The space is quite large inside and has a nice patio to sit on. The beach cruisers in the garage were a nice touch!
Parking is awful. The gargage was too small for the SUV that my inlaws rented, and since my father in law is handicapped, parking was awful. Coming home any later than 7pm guarantees that you will not park on the road anywhere near your home.
My parents reported that the beds were as hard as a rock, and Nancy went and purchased foam covers to put on the bed. This was very nice and we all appreciated it! Thank you!
There were silverfish all over the counter and in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. We were told to wipe them up with a paper towel and that they would exterminate after we left.
The worst problem overall was the noise all night long from the upstairs neighbors. It never ended and made sleeping terrible.
On the last day, right before checking out, the neighbor hit our rental car and drive away. We had to track down his daughter and address this, all while trying to pack and clean the rental. The cleaning woman was very kind about us taking a little longer to get out because of our delay in the morning.
Overall, I would not rent this unit again, especially for my parents.

Overall, it had everything we had and more! I love that there were some of the little amenities like dishwasher soap and hand soap etc. The garage is extremely small but you are in San Diego so that is likely to be the case in most places. It was definitely a great place to lay you head at night. Thank you!
Roomy and comfortable place

Excellent customer service. The apartment is very spacious, clean and has everything a family would need. The neighbors were extremely friendly. It is within walking distance to the bay area. Beautiful, safe and quiet neighborhood, especially for morning/evening walks. The only challenge we had was trying to park our mini van in the small garage. Also, street side parking is hard to find.
