This property has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms plus a bonus room, is 1600 sq. feet and sleeps 4-8. There are 2 king beds, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and a double fold down bed in the bonus room.
Large bay windows offer views through the house onto the back patio and yard offering a spacious open feel. There is a ‘dog friendly’ fenced back yard with a patio, lawn, stainless steel barbeque, table and seating with a shade umbrella.

The property is within walking distance of San Diego State University and centrally located for quick and convenient access to all San Diego attractions. It is close to Hwy 8 and 15/20 minute’s drive to downtown San Diego, the Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, Multiple golf courses, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, Sunset Cliffs and La Jolla. There is also easy access onto the 8 freeway and onto the 15 freeway which takes you to Wild Animal Safari.
The Neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of a temple. A large VONS shopping center is located within 1/2 mile. There are also various restaurants including Mexican, Japanese, Persian, Thai, and Vietnamese. Starbucks, McDonalds and Jack in the Box are also within reach of an easy walk or quick drive.

Having Derek as our host was great, very helpful. Room for two senior couples to enjoy a home away from home.

Everything this house had to offer was excellent. And it had everything one would expect and more. The house lived up to its description. It was close to where we had to go for the wedding and reception. We couldn't have asked for more...it was clean and well equipped for us. I was blessed to find the doggie bed and doggie bowls available, too. One of the best amenities was it allowed doggies and had a very good backyard for them. I just wish we had known about the nearby street closure for the Boo Parade. Overall, we were very pleased with the home and would certainly rent it again.

Its proximity to the tram system and short shot down the highway to the beach made it the perfect option for us. -

This is a lovely vacation rental home! It is well-located, nicely furnished, immaculately cleaned, thoughtfully supplied (boxes of tissues, extra pillows and blankets, spare toiletries, hair dryer and hand soap...), and Derek was so pleasant to work with in making the reservation.
I would highly recommend enjoying this home during your next San Diego adventure!
Note: if you are a modern houses only kind of person, then this may not be the place for you - this home has some era appropriate tiling remaining in the bathroom and kitchen - but both are clean and fully functional! -

This was a nice cozy little house. Perfect for four, but can accomodate up to six. I would not only rent this house again, I would recommend it to anyone.

We had the pleasure of staying at this house during our recent family vacation. We had 6 people including 4 adults and a 4-year-old and a 2-year-old. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us, yet small enough to be cozy and inviting. The bonus room was the perfect "playground" for our kids, and the glass walls allowed us to keep an eye on them while they played. The bedrooms were big enough to accommodate a porta crib in the master and a cot in the other bedroom. There were many conveniences such as a high chair, games/toys for the kids, night lights, and even laundry detergent for the washing machine. The house was conveniently located by freeways and Sdsu. Derek was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this house and I look forward to when we can stay there again.
