As you park your car in the driveway, you're able to see all the way down to the end of the Ocean Beach Pier and beyond. Seagulls and parrots will fly overhead and the sounds of waves crashing on the beach will fill the air. After stepping through the custom, ocean inspired front door, you will enter into the sanctuary of our home. The overstuffed furniture will have you relaxed in no time. The open and spacious living room is a wonderful place to curl up in the rocking chair and cozy up arou...nd the fireplace with a throw and a book. The dining room will entice you with the wall of view windows and the glass doors that open to the wrap around deck. The deck is equipped with a large gas grill for cooking out, two chase lounges for enjoying the big, blue skies and ocean waves crashing into the the Ocean Beach jetty. This seating setting is perfect for your favorite beverage while watching the fireworks, the evening lights twinkle or perhaps even a chance to see the “Green Flash”. Napping in the Master Bedroom King Bed, while ocean breezes billow the curtains, is a relaxing experience like no other. If you prefer to read, you can enjoy the gorgeous view of the waves breaking up the coastline to La Jolla and the sailboats on Mission Bay through the sliding doors of the Master Bedroom. At night, you can hear the seals bark. The delightful front bedroom, with a Queen bed, is stylishly decorated with quality furniture and linens. The downstairs bedroom is privately separate from the rest of the house and has its own bathroom with shower. Only 5 minutes from walking across the sand!!!

This lovely home is also a short drive to downtown San Diego, Balboa Park and many of the premier attractions around town. The location is centrally ideal for maximum enjoyment of San Diego.

We are also very family friendly and can offer a portable infant crib, highchair and stroller for your easy use here. There are 2 queen size aerobeds and a futon for further sleeping accommodations.

Outstanding location close to everything. Ocean Beach is only 6 miles from downtown San Diego and many of the premier attractions around town. The house is located up on the hill with sweeping views of the ocean, bay and hillsides and only a short few blocks down to the water and business district. There are many great restaurants, eclectic shops and entertainment venues within easy walking distance, while still living in a family friendly residential neighborhood. Ocean Beach and the Point Loma Peninsula will offer you a wide array of choices in good dining and plenty of adventure. There are some points of interest we want to make sure you hear about. Start your visit with the Cabrillo National Monument, run by the National Park Service, the park offers spectacular views of the local geography and fascinating information about the history of Southern California. This is a great way to become familiar with the layout of San Diego. Cabrillo is a quick drive to the end of Catalina Boulevard, only a few miles away from home. Point Loma fleet of fishing boats offers some of the best fishing on the West Coast. There are many options on close by on Shelter Island. Liberty Station is a mixed-use community with retail shops, restaurants, a golf course and park. You’ll find it a few miles away off Rosecrans. Wednesdays in Ocean Beach mean Farmer’s Market. OB hosts one of the best farmer markets in the State! Balboa Park - is the nation’s largest urban cultural park with 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, gardens, the zoo and concerts in an amazingly beautiful setting. The Embarcadero on the Bay is the place to see San Diego by water. Many different cruise options from 1 hour and longer are available. Old Town - 4010 Twiggs St & San Diego Ave. - is a must see stop for a colorful adventure. Find great food, history and shopping in a vibrant setting. Seaport Village 500 Kettner Blvd. is a beautiful village of shops and restaurants on the Bay. Gaslamp Quarter is our best downtown attraction. You will find the best restaurants, boutique shops, galleries and more. Coronado Island is an enchanting and upscale island village. Make a day of the shops restaurants and of course, the famed Hotel Del. The Island can be reached by car over the bridge or by ferry or water taxi. Little Italy – India Street & Cedar – is another lovely neighborhood just North of Downtown. Great Italian food, boutique and antique shops are found here. Downtown San Diego is only 6 miles away. Everything is close at hand with this very central San Diego location. The charming sea side town of Ocean Beach, OB, offers over 60 good restaurants, great shopping including antique shops, entertainment venues, frequent festivals and of course, the beach.

  I really had no real expectations of the house besides the view of the ocean from the deck. However, upon arriving I began to notice the wonders this property, as well as the location had to bring. The location at the end of the 8 freeway, made it convenient to travel to various sights in San Diego (Sea World, Mission Beach/Bay, Balboa Park, Downtown, and the airport). The quaint home, as it appears from the outside, is perfectly placed at the top of the hill which gives it the magnificient view of Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, and the fireworks from Sea World. At the bottom of the same street leads you directly to the pier, which makes it great for a good walk to the beach. Walking into the house, I quickly discover that the pictures on the website does not fully credit this beautiful home. The living room and dining area meet you as you enter and is a wonderful space for relaxing with your family and friends. Furthermore, the kitchen is very spacious and stocked with silverware, plates, cooking supplies, and even a few condiments. This house has 3 bedrooms, one had become my sanctuary all weekend. I can't fully describe how in love I fell with the master bedroom. It had sliding doors on the all the sides with views that opened up for deck access and was draped in white linen (also throughout the house). All the beds were comfortable, as well as the linen. The deck was amazing esp with the all the furniture, great for an afternoon BBQ and evening cocktails taking in the bonfire scent at night. We enjoyed spending time lounging in the warm San Diego weather while feeling and hearing the ocean air. On top of all this, Rick kept everything we needed in the house stocked, from toilet paper, paper towels, air matress, extra pillow and blankets, an iron. We had an amazing time it was well worth it.

  Great rental home in Ocean Beach, every thing you need and more!

  We just stayed here for 4 nights and it was all we hoped for and more. Right from the start both the owner and agent were extremely helpful with everything we needed. If you are not familiar with the area, they will make sure you know all about the area and some great secrets and tips. The house is fully equipped to handle your stay for as long as you need. When asked if anything was missing the only item we could think of was a brush for the grill and they were going to buy one right away. The deck here is the real highlight of the house and you are at one of the high points of the Ocean Beach area. It's easy to spend most of the day there if you would like or the pier and the beach are both short walks away too. The shops and food of OB is also within easy walking distance but you are also removed enough from the main street to really have a very nice and relaxing vacation. All in all we could not have asked for much more. Very nice and accommodating people, a gorgeous property with a top notch location and a very fair price for a 3 bedroom property that will break down significantly less than any hotel you might find in San Diego. Definitely worth calling them to find out more and hopefully make a reservation. Thanks Joanne and Vince!!!

  6 of us plus a toddler for the week. We've visited so. cal often, but first time in a vacation rental home - definitely the way to go! The house was beautiful, just as described, and so very comfortable for our group. It was clean and well-stocked (I loved that the spice rack was full so we didn't have to buy jars of spices for a week's visit!) The view is stunning and it's just a short, albeit hilly, walk to Ocean Beach and the pier. We truly couldn't have asked for anything else from a vacation rental, and so thankful to find a quality property at a competitive price. The arrangements were easy, and we knew the broker was always available if we needed anything. The beds were super comfy, and coffee in the morning or a beer in the evening on the deck gazing out at mission bay and OB was the absolute best! The central location made it easy to get anywhere around the San Diego area. We would definitely recommend this property!
