Want a vacation that makes you feel like the rich and famous? Come stay on amos's yacht. For the price of a hotel room with bed & bath, you can get 2 beds, 2 baths, kitchen, living room, deck, ocean view, and complete privacy. Add the gentle rock of the bay and a glass (or 2 or 3...) of wine and you'll feel like royalty. Amos greets you personally at the yacht to give you the keys, explain everything you need to know about your accommodations, and point out things to do in the area. He was an amiable host, private instructor, and concierge rolled into one. You are also allowed use of the nearby Sheraton's amenities (all the advantages of a hotel and so much more!). We were not able to take a charter cruise this time...but there's always next time! Notes from past cruisers that were in their guest book made it sound like a fabulous time was had by all.

This was a great trip!
My family (husband and two sons, ages 17 and 19) stayed on the ship for three nights in late December. We had a great time and it was especially memorable because it was different than anything we've done in the past. We spent our days reading on the deck or walking around SD, and returned to play board games or watch movies on the widescreen/surround-sound TV in the evenings.
Worth mentioning is that the master suite and the second bedroom are a nice size. There is an additional "bedroom" we called the Harry Potter room: it is a tiny closet-like space (can't stand up) with two small mattresses with a divider in between. This room would be great for one or two younger kids, but was a little cramped for my 17 year old son.
The charter cruise (part of the deal) was the highlight of the trip. Amos and Shari took us out in the late afternoon so we saw the sights nearby while it was still light, then saw a beautiful sunset before heading to the Midway and the the lights of the city.
We found amos and Shari to be the perfect combination of helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable. They are fantastic people, all around. (;-) -

We had the pleasure of spending this last weekend aboard the Ohana Pacific and we loved it. For those who haven't yet tried this, it's a little bit like being invited to stay in a friends home for the weekend. But it's more than that...
We've all had dreams of living on a yacht, and for a couple of days you can live that dream. Not many of us can afford our own yacht but amos and Shari go out of their way to let you sample what we might not otherwise ever come to know; a taste of the yachting lifestyle.
Amos and Shari were very accommodating and gracious, truly consummate hosts. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The experience was beyond our expectations.

6 of us chartered the Ohana Pacific for a 3 hour crewed and catered harbour cruise. Amos and Shari could not have been more friendly or professional and they gave us a truly memorable experience. Their local knowledge and the enthusiasm they obviously have for their job and for everything going on in and around the harbour contributed to a very enjoyable, informative, and relaxed time.

Zolna Yacht Charters could not have been a better choice for our holiday..
We were greeted by a very friendly Amos and given a tour of the beautiful boat. It has everything you could possibly want for accommodation- far more than a hotel could offer. I was treated to a surprise cruise which was Captained by both Amos and Shari who were extremely knowledgable about the area and sights and very accomodating. They were also a huge part in making my Engagement the best day ever!! Of course they knew all along what Harry was planning to do, but were very discreet and made the Celebrations all the more fun with Champagne!!

Outstanding! I had the opportunity to stay on the Nani Ula while in San Diego. What a great experience. Our hosts, Amos and Shari could not have been more accommodating. The reservation process through www.yachtvacationrental.com was seamless. Amos followed up with a phone call the next day to inquire as to whether there was anything special I needed along with the basic information I needed to know about the reservation. The day before arrival I contacted Amos to set up a meeting time to go over the workings of the Nani Ula. For those not familiar with living on a boat, there are a few boat specific things you need to know (what you can touch and what you can't touch) and how boat design is just a little bit different from a land based accommodation. It was about a 15 minute orientation and we were good to go. The yacht stays in its berth and serves as your luxury accommodations on the water. Great option to a hotel stay!
Location was very convenient. Harbor Island is across the street from the airport and very centrally located to the varied attractions of San Diego. I rented a car to explore the sites of San Diego which I parked in the marina lot and came and went as I pleased. There was no additional charge for parking.
The stay also included access to an on site pool at the marina and access to the adjacent Sheraton Hotel and its amenities. We did not have time to use any of these amenities in our short 3 day stay. For our Las Vegas vacation, we decided to spend a couple of days in San Diego.
After a couple of months of looking I came across this Yacht rental. Everything was absolutely wonderful.
Everything we needed was on the Yacht with easy access to San Diego's prime locations.
The reservation process with owner was so easy and he was always accessible to questions.
We set sail the last day for sunset cruise. Suprisingly the one day the weather did not coorperate and temperature dropped.
Owner and wife team are absolutely lovely and made it all worthwhile. The chartered cruise was the best I've had.
It's a different experience and one I would definitely do again.

This is a "one-of-kind" experience... staying on a luxury yacht on San Diego Bay. Three queen-sized sleeping berths, 2 restrooms w/shower and jetted tub, satellite TV (3), surround sound HD TV, and a kitchen! Also, we had the use of all the finest amenities at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina. The cruise on our private yacht on the bay was incredible; we saw sea lions, huge pelicans and other sea birds, active aircraft carriers, nuclear subs, the historic "Midway", the magnificent downtown skyline, and Glorietta Bay (you can see whales and dolphins if you sail beyond Point Loma). The mai tais were cold and Captain amos was really cool. We had a blast and slept like babies in the quiet marina. This is a must do in San Diego!

We were looking for a memorable alternative to a hotel or vacation apartment for a reunion with my sister and her husband. The Ohana Pacific certainly fitted the bill. It was very well equipped and extremely comfortable for two couples. The only downside is that you can't stand fully upright in the 2nd bedroom but then you are only in there to sleep and the rest of the boat offered plenty of seating and partying places. We opted for a 3 hour cruise around the bay which was really worthwhile and amos was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had lots of fun and would definitely recommend it to our friends.

Amos met us and was very helpful, the yacht had every convienience and was quite luxurious. It was such a differernt experience and one we would repeat if ever in San Diego.
The yacht had a surround sound system, an ice machine, tv, microwave, etc, the bedding was good quality and the kichen was well equipped. -

This is the third time I have stayed aboard amos' luxury yachts and the first time on the "Nani Ula". This exemplifies "the lifestyle of the rich and famous". My buddies and I enjoyed the satellite TV and surround sound system and when they left and my (retired) parents moved in, we enjoyed cruizin' in the bay and taking in the sites of the aircraft carriers, the historic sailing ships, and the amazing downtown skyline view from "our" private yacht. Also, we took advantage of our privileges at the Sheraton Hotel health club, spa, and beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The yacht is like new, super clean in "showroom condition" and when it's parked in the slip, it doesn't move... I slept better than in my own bed! This is the way to "do" San Diego!

I highly recommend staying here. Two big bedrooms and a third for your young one. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bathrooms all had fresh linens. Everything is clean and shiny and the people at the marina are very nice.
