This is a 1200 sf (111.48 sq meters) flat in a 3 unit building. There is 1 remodeled bathroom with claw foot tub, living room with full size sofa bed which can be used as a 3rd bedroom, formal dinning room, remodeled fully equipped kitchen and laundry room.
This unit can accommodate 2 to 6 people comfortably. There are 2 queen size beds and 1 full size pull out futon. There is a shared back patio and garden area. We were here for a week during Pride Month, so this location was ideal. Walking distance to train and tram lines. Apartment sleeps three couples (two bedrooms, one lounge, all with doors), so can work out to be good choice. Only one bathroom though, so needs everyone to "cooperate" during rush hour. Great dining room for friends to get together, as well as full kitchen. Be careful going down back staircase to the laundry - stairs are very narrow and can be slippery when wet.

Had a fantastic time staying in this great apartment in the Castro.
The hosts were very friendly, amenable, great w advice about where to visit/eat/drink and we could park the car underneath (luxury in SF!)
Location was fantastic, close to public transport & the Castro.

The flat had 2 roomy bedrooms and a cute bath. Plus a large dining room and functional kitchen. Nice living room with a really big tv. The laundry facility was let down though.
Close to buses and Metro. In general a good area to stay at.
The owner is really nice and have us good service. -

This was a dynamic flat, very nice, accomodating and clean. My only recommendation would be egg crates for the people who cannot sleep on a very firm mattress. Otherwise this was the best Flat I have ever stayed in and I would recommend this flat to my family and friends.

I would highly recommend this fabulous two bedroom apartment! I only stayed for two days but wished it could have been longer. From the moment I walked in I was impressed by the beautiful decor. The place was clean, cozy and in a great location. The owners were very nice and everything ran smoothly. Street parking wasn't a problem, which is unusual in San Francisco. Overall it was a great experience. Can't wait to stay there again.

James and Vince have set up this holiday apartment to cater to all a travellers needs. as a family of four travelling having a place to cook, do the laundry and chill out at the end of the day was what we look for and that's exactly what's on offer. The location was also spot on with the subway and the trams a 5 minute walk down the road, along with a vibrant shopping and food strip.

This flat is impeccably clean and a very pleasant place to stay. A Safeway is in walking distance and you can catch the trolley, bus or Bart easily. The neighborhood feels very safe and friendly. Overall we highly recommended it.

Check in was really smooth, apt had good amenities, kitchen, laundry, good cable TV. Very spacious for 2 bedroom, which included a lounge and a dining room. I felt the mattress in the main bed was really hard, vert personal thing I guess, but messed my back up for the 2 weeks I was there. Check out was a little rushed, Ruined our last day a little, considering how much we spent on the let. All in all, a really nice apt, good size and James was very easy to reach and very helpful, which ensured a very smooth booking and check in.

I'm wary of booking private accommodations (rather than through a hotel/motel) but things worked out great with James and Vince. They delivered on everything promised of the apartment and were flexible with meeting up and checking out. Vince also gave some great recommendations for nearby night life. The place itself was beautiful and we were tempted to just stay in.

James was great. He greeted us at the scheduled time, was polite, cordial, and even gave us a couple of recommendations while staying in the city. Location is central to Castro, close to the Muni, and not too far from the Bart. The condo is well maintained and tastefully decorated (exactly as illustrated in the photos0. The only room for improvement would be softer mattresses. We found them to be a bit too firm. Everything else was top notch and the ammenities (TV,Blu-ray, kitchen, furnishings, etc.) made us feel right at home. Checkout was a breeze and I will definitely consider/recommend the Castro Flat to others in the future. Thank you James and Vince for making or stay in SF spectcular. =)

My friends and I rented this flat during our stay in San Francisco for a family wedding. We could not have asked for anything more. The flat was comfortable, beautiful, and clean, and the location was fantastic! It was under a five minute walk into the heart of the Castro. The owners were wonderful and very responsive to any questions we had over e-mail prior to our stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

Travelling with a family of five, it was so nice to spread out in a homy flat. It was very quick to get downtown, to the Golden Gate, or wherever we wanted to go. Having a place to park our car was also very handy. Thanks for making our San Francisco experience a great one.

My Buddys and me have been staying for two months at 15th street, and we enjoyed our stay.
The Flat itself is equipped with everything we could think of. The interior is luxury, classy and comes with a unique view. As passionated chefs, we enjoyed cooking in the big, well equipped kitchen.
Living on 15th Street and in the Castro is the perfect spot.
A big Supermarket and Downtown SF is within walking distance.
The whole flat is very clean, and we've been satisfied with our stay.

It was like settling into a second home from the start. My friend and I found this place as our base for our week long reunion and it was absolutely perfect. And the place in person exceeds the pics and video by far. Very comfortable bed and fold down futons, excellent working kitchen, and all the other amenities of home. And they were able to accommodate our odd flight arrivals and departures as well which really relieved the stress of the trip. It made us both want to move to San Francisco if we could find the same kind of place. I will definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to staying there again. Thanks guys!

We loved this apartment. It is spacious, clean and has all the amenities you need! even an espresso machine. the washer and dryer was wonderful, particularly as we were travelling with children. We ate at a fantastic small japanese restaurant 1 block away and caught the tram straight to Union Square from the bottom of the street. James was lovely and kindly gave us a discount as we were 2 days late arriving due to the New York blizzard. We travelled through the USa for 4 weeks and satayed at 8 different hotels and apartments, this was the best. Our 5 year old still says she loved James' apartment the best. Thank you James

From the very first email James was extremely courteous and patient!!! When we arrived in San Francisco he had arranged for Rudy to meet us and Rudy was so pleasnt as we had lost his phone number and were about an hour later than we had specified. The location was was awesome very close to transport and shopping the neighbourhood very safe and really lovely. We loved every moment of our stay and would certainly stay again, made us feel like San Franciscans!!!

My partner and I stayed in this beautiful flat. We were looking for a comfortable place that was located near public transportation as well as near many attractions. Well trust me this was the place, it was with in walking distance of many fine restaurants as well as great shopping. The owners are absolutely great and very accommodating. I would not hesitate staying here again for a future visit.

This is the perfect place to stay in San Francisco! I travelled with 3 of my girlfriends and had stayed for 6 days. The place is very clean, beautiful and close to Muni. There are multiple shops & grocery stores surrounding this condo so if you forgot something at home you will have no trouble replacing it. Unfortunately, James & Vince were on vacation during our stay but we had the most perfect host named Rudy. He was knowledgeable about the city and had directed us to the most wonderful little store that sold the most inexpensive cheeses, fruits & vegetables. We never had the chance to sample the homemade guacamole but I heard it is amazing. I guess that will have to wait for the next trip. The condo has everything you need including a computer, washer & dryer & even a dishwasher. I've rented condos in various countries and I have never been rented a condo with all these amenities. Thanks to James & Vince for offering such a wonderful place.

Couldn't recommend Castro Rentals enough! The flat was beautiful and exactly as the photos depicted.
James and Vince perfect hosts giving tips to make our stay more enjoyable and very welcoming. The kitchen was very well stocked so you didn't need to purchase any day to day pantry items.
I will definitely be staying again on our next visit to San Francisco. -

It was a perfect spot for our family of 5...clean and nicely decorated, all the
amenities, gorgeous view from the living room. My daughter just sat on the
open up cot for hours staring out the window. We loved the little shop across
the street for wine, ice cream, British snacks, and great falafel - who could ask
for more? The neighborhood is great and very convenient. If you have a car,
the garage is a great amenity, but try and get something small and as short in
height as possible due to the incline into the garage. We hope to rent it again! -

The flat in San Francisco is fantastic. It is situated in the CASTRO, one of the best areas in San Francisco.
First of all, the flat very very clean and comfortable... we had 3 kind of coffe machines!!!
James, the owner, was very nice and helpfull with us.He showed lots of places an amenities (most of then close to the apartment)and answered patiently all our doubts.
Apart from that, he spent wiht us all the time we needed in order to know everything in the flat: laundryroom, kitchen, heater, computer, tv, video...even when we asked him any questions by e-mail.

El piso está en pleno Castro, una de las mejores zonas de San Francisco, llena de restaurantes, pubs, cine, teatro,supermercados, metro, tranvía... todo lo que te pueda apetecer y muy bien comunicado con el resto de la ciudad.
James, el dueño, es un encanto.
El piso estaba limpísimo, totalmente equipado... hasta había tres tipos de cafeteras!!! Inmejorable.
Nos enseñó el piso detenidamente, y nos recomendó restaurantes, pubs, disco...todo lo que quisimos.
En resumen, un piso maravilloso con un dueño encantador.
SE LO RECOMENDAMOS A TODO EL MUNDO.

We really enjoyed our stay in San Francisco. Two Key points have made it possible: the apartment in Castro and the kindness from the owners.
Better than a tourist guide, you can ask them about the best places to visit and the best valuable restaurants in the city (The owners are real gourmet). I was never disappointed and I discovered a lot of jewels far away from the tourist places.
About the apartment, you feel like at home and that’s already after the first day. The apartment is well furnished, well decorated, spacious and clean. The house is situated in the Castro district. Well served from the public transportation to the down town. But the night life and the outstanding number of restaurants are enough to always stay in the neighbourhood.
The best: The Computer and the Internet connection!
As resume: A very nice place where, I’m sure, I’ll come back again. A big thank to owners for all!

When you arrive to sunny CA and get the keys for
apartment, the first thing you will notice is how
attentive and kind his owner James is. He will
always check that you are comfortable at the unit,
and even on the other line of the telephone you
will feel his genuine smile.
The first time you open the door and go upstairs
you will let a "wow" drop out of your mouth: It is
not only the exquisite decorated rooms, but also
the right temperature and how fully equipped the
apartment is that will make you feel at home
immediately. Once the first impression vanishes,
you will discover with the everyday living all kind
of little details that will make fall in love with
the unit and the dedication of the renters: now a
electric can opener, now great updated magazines
and the list goes on: washing machine and dryer,
head dryer, TV, bedding, towels, microwave, iron
and ironing board, all cleaning appliances and
products, the possibility of renting a maid to
clean the house, books...
The unit is located really close to Castro St and
only ten minutes from Haight St, two different
ambients. Bus 24 stop is just in front of the
apartment, and the light train and metro is only
three minutes away from it.
I liked everything in the house. What I like most:
all the little details that makes the tenant feel
special. What I liked least: the noise on the floor

This is an extremely well decorated large flat that is just walking minutes away from the central Castro area and public transportation to anywhere that you would want to venture in San Francisco. The owners were extremely helpful with our needs and available by phone whenever the need arose. Internet was also available to check email and look up great place to eat and and venture to in this great city. I can't say enough about this place but my suggestion is just to book a stay there. You won't be disappointed.

The apartment was furnished beautifully and had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. It was such a short walk (5mins) to public transport and there were fantastic shops and restaurants close by. There was even a great playground around the corner for my 2yo daughter. I highly recommend this 2 bedroom apartment, it made our stay in San Francisco a real enjoyment!

If you are curious about experiencing real San Francisco charm, then this
Victorian flat is for you. I stayed in the flat this last summer and had the most
amazing time. The flat is well appointed and can be considered luxurious. It is
well kept, clean, and made me feel right at home. This beats any hotel you
could find in the city. The location is second to none as it is only a two-block
walk to The Castro and is well-connected to transit within the city. I would
highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay either short or long
term in San Francisco. -
