Our great San Francisco vacation rentals are located in the heart of San Francisco. This beautiful Victorian flat is in the heart of San Francisco, only 2 blocks from public transportation. This San Francisco vacation rental is in a newly refurbished 1892 Victorian Building. The flat is open, airy and spacious with 12' high ceilings - 2000 sq ft - and hardwood floors. 153 Noe Street is on the second floor and offers 4 bedrooms and 2 new marble bathrooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen. This flat was completely restored the end of 2004. The flat has a washer/dryer, garage parking, and high speed Internet access.

This apartment is huge! I think it is larger than the owner's Youtube video makes it look. With two bedrooms at the front and two at the back, it gives good privacy so that everyone can feel they have their own space. It is beautiful, too. We felt we were living in an old mansion apartment. The marble in the bathrooms and the gorgeous softwood floors throughout were luxurious. The apartment is in an accessible location from the municipal line (subway) which took us downtown in minutes. It was also close to the trains and buses to the Noe Valley and Castro areas. Some of the local restaurants were closed, but there are still many to choose from if you like to eat out, all within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is very well supplied so that you can make and enjoy your own meals in the full sized kitchen and huge dining room. The only drawback - not something the owner can modify - is that there is a certain amount of noise at the front of the building from outside traffic (4-way stop just under the window) and the restaurant downstairs, but it is all pretty good after about 11 p.m. until around 6 a.m. when trucks go by. This mostly affects the front two bedrooms and the dining room. The restaurant noise is not particularly bothersome, but the odd truck rolling by outside in the moring can be enough to waken lighter sleepers, so put those guests in the two rooms by the kitchen. We very much appreciated a late checkout on our last day, which allowed us to spend the day sightseeing and not have to worry about our bags.

First, this apartment is in a wonderful, safe,
distrct, close to numerous public transportation
lines. We were able to get to moscone center and
to union square in the matter of minutes--much
faster than if we had driven. After a busy day, we
were able to find charming restaurants within
walking distane of the apartment.
The apartment itself is beautiful, tastefully
decorated with many antiques. It is so spactious
we all could find a place to be alone or
congregate together. We even ate in, cooking in
the large, well stocked kitchen and eating in the
separate formal dining room. A fabulous stay. -
