      Superb central place to stay

Left on 04/12/2013 for a stay in October 2012

Opposite Macy's and round the corner from the end of the cable car, location could not have been better.
The apartment is very spacious for two, and you could easily have a child with you, but not sure how it would be if you had more than 2 adults and would therefore be using the sofa beds (which certainly were not great to sit on). The kitchen fridge is huge (I live in UK, so my expectations might be different from us travellers) and the kitchen seemed OK - we had breakfast there but otherwise ate out anyway.
Massive TV in a good sized eating area, and there's also a balcony.
There aren't curtains everywhere you need to get proper darkness in the main bedroom and sitting area, but that encouraged us to get up and get on with exploring.
There is a large car rental return parking lot located under 5 minutes walk away which was ideal for us, and we had straight-forward arrangements to meet at the building to be let in. There was a folder with useful information and instructions.
We had no problems with the booking or rental arrangements generally.

Having never rented an apartment for a short stay, we were interested to see if the saving (compared with hotel prices) would be worthwhile. Unequivocally yes! So, you don't have room service or a porter, but you have so much space, your own kitchen (so another saving over hotel costs) and so many rooms, it makes a lot of sense. We stayed for 3 nights, which would have been the same cost of 2 nights at Hotel Rex nearby - and that would not have had the space or kitchen.

If I were going back to SF, I would defnitely look at staying here again if I could.

Great Location but a liitle Noisy

Left on 02/02/2013 for a stay in January 2013

The 3rd floor apartment loction was ideal right in the heart of Union Square and within easy walking distance of everything you could want including shops, resturants and transport..It was a large apartment and appeared as advertised but a little tied and in need of some refurbishment.
It was however very noisy ,not from other apartments but from street noise which may have been made worse by road works going on in nearby streets . descrition of apartment was accurate and service from operator was good.

      Beats overpriced Hotels any day!

Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012

This was our second trip in San Francisco and due to a major conference in town hotels capitalized and and near doubled there prices. So the search was on and what a great find.

Located near union square, walking distance to Chinatown, shopping and transport we could not have been more comfortable. A car park is located next door with reasonable rates for San Francisco.

We would definitely stay again and if not available would choose apartment over hotels in the future.

Awesome! Perfect location, beautiful apt, gourmet kitchen, close

Left on 05/22/2012 for a stay in April 2012

There's no better feeling than to be at "home" when you're miles away from home (especially when you would pay more for a hotel!) We couldn't have been more pleased with the rental. Prompt responses with email correspondences. And Bernat met us at the apt to let us in and show us the apt. The kitchen is awesome, especially since we had an 8 month old baby that we could mix his formula and heat up his food. The best thing about this place is the ability to drop off the gobs of shopping bags you acquire while in San Fran and then go back out for round 2. So location was absolutely perfect. The terrace outside our place was great for entertaining and relaxing. The bedroom was comfortable and the closet was big. There's 2 full baths which was very nice. I felt very safe here. There's also a parking garage (that you have to pay for) right next door, so if you have a car or rent one, it's very convenient. There's a Starbucks caddy corner to the place and an H&M; next door. I can't say enough nice things about this place and certainly will return when we revisit San Fran! You won't be disappointed.

      central location with great access

Left on 11/18/2011 for a stay in October 2011

Upon request of the owner, heres my review.
Our arrival was very easy 1 block from bart airport train.
We had been sent instructions on arrival procedure, very easy to follow.
Comical scene trying to open street door, that was a real hassle (that really needs to be fixed)
Apartment exceeded expectations, and although decor was not to my taste, every convenience was available.
Really the only disappointment was the general lack of maintenance and repair. Nothing major, but things you notice: scuffed paint on walls, stained carpet, broken plugs in sink, broken toilet brush, even the bottle opener didn't work. Most of the facilities were great, the kitchen is very well equipped, and TV is massive. The cleaner left the place spotless!
Location was excellent for shopping, and public transport takes you anywhere.
The hosts were friendly and accommodating.
I would give this a 5 star review if only someone paid attention to the little details.

      Great location and value

Left on 06/13/2011 for a stay in February 2011

My husband and I stayed here while in San Francisco for a trade show at Moscone Center. This rental was exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to Moscone, public transportation and plenty of dining options. While it isn't right on Union Square, you still get some of the noise as the unit is on the street side, but it's not too bad.

The size of the unit is huge for San Francisco and it was great to have that room to spread out and get out of each other's way in the morning. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed and very nice finishes.

The only negatives were that it is starting to show some wear and could use a fresh coat of paint and some new carpet will be needed soon. It might be nice to have and area rug also or possibly some curtains in the living area/kitchen as it felt a little cold and echo-y.

The next time we are in San Francisco, we will absolutely be looking at this unit as our first choice to stay!

Quite new and very attractive appartment right in downtown San Francisco, close to Bart, trolley buses, cable car, restaurants, shopping - in the action. All mod cons and adequate heating for winter. Only criticism was mattress and sheets in need of replacing.
