The apartment is close to the wonderful Washington Square park, thrilling China Town and fabulous Fisherman's Wharf. You find many shops (incl. Safeway and Trade Joe's), bars, restaurants and even a comedy club only a short walk away. Transportation is easy - plenty of taxis, bus lines (to Union Square, Market Street, CalTrain and Bart Station, the Marina District, SoMa, Fort Mason and the Presidio) and the cable car, connecting Fisherman's Wharf and downtown San Francisco (Powell) are just around the corner. You'll be staying steps famous Fisherman's Wharf with the Aquarium of the Bay, Aquatic Park, Pier 39, Coit Tower, lovely Lombard Street, China Town, Cable Car Museum, Ghirardelli Square, dozens of great cafes/bars/restaurants, famous European style restaurants on Columbus, banks, gyms, ferry boat terminals and all of downtown San Francisco. Marc was a very accommodating and responsive host. The apartment is located in a fantastic area, steps from North Beach, Fisherman's Wharf and a short walk to Chinatown and Russian Hill. The apartment itself is in a safe building in a good neighborhood and the unit is comfortable and clean. It's definitely great value for the price. Thanks Marc!

This apartment is meant for not more than 4 people. The aditional "beds" are actually infltable and I found myself in the middle of the night lying straight in the floor ofther the mattress lost the air. Beisdes, with just one toilet, you don't want to pack more than 4 people in there
The Location is fantastic, but the apartment itself is dark (bedrooms have windows overlooking the hallway) and carpets dirty. Most of the kitchenware was filthy even if we payed a 25USD per person "cleaning fee"
At almost 400 USD per night I feel I could have done much much much better -

Me and my family had a wonderful time. The apartment is perfect if you mind a clean, safe and secure place for your vacation.
And the location is great. It's close to public transport, cable car, restaurants and many places of interest (like the piers).
Families are truly welcome here: We have been provided with two cots for our two minors at no extra charge. And with a full kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave) it was easy to feed the family.
The living room is big, clean and tidy. My husband loved the Play Station and the big TV - big boy ...
The bathroom was absolutely perfect (normal bathtub with shower, hairdryer etc).
It's an awesome condo. I can absolutely recommend it to anyone.

The apartment is located in the North Beach area of San Francisco, very near the cable cars and great local restaurants.We took a taxi from the airport and were met by a property manager at a nearby Cafe; he lead us up hill to the entrance of the apartment building. The unit was spacious and adequate for the three of us. The kitchen was well appointed and there was a small balcony that over looked the pool and common areas. We enjoyed the ample electronics and free wi-fi.
The carpet, however, was in horrible condition: spotted, worn and dirty looking. It had been vacuumed but needed a good cleaning. The bathroom had a mold colony both on the shower wall and shower curtain. (I have relayed this information to the Manager of record.) The beds were comfortable and linens clean. The rest of the unit appeared to be clean.
The great location of the unit trumped the condition of the carpet for us. We would consider staying again, if the carpeting was improved. -

Yes, this apartment is in a perfert location. On Lombard street with walking distance to the piers and the Italian village. The pool was good after a long day, although alittle cold for me.
Having the cable car at the front door was great, from there it's easy to get around.
For a family of five it was little small. however it had all we needed.
I would go back tomorrow.

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed in this holiday let for 5 nights. The best feature is its great location, in a safe and quiet area though easily accessible to all the usual tourist attractions. The flat is on level 1 of a big apartment block, great if you don't like lifts though not so good for views! It was a good size for the three of us. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn't use it much as we ate out all the time (some great italian restaurants just a short walk away on Columbus Street and nice bars/shops on Green Street). Would consider staying here again. Peter was very good at communication throughout regarding the booking.

The apartment was wonderful, clean and spacious. First choice over area hotels. Close to everything yet distant enough from the tourist traffic. Fisherman's Wharf and North Beach areas both easy walks from the apartment. Great neighborhood cafes for quick eats and steps away from bus and trolly lines. Children loved access to the pool. Would rent again if available next trip to San Francisco.

The apartment is exactly as it is described and has everything you need and more! The check in process was effortless, the apartment was clean and well decorated. The location was perfect, we travelled from the UK with our 2 year old son who has a tendency to retire to his stroller for an afternoon 'power nap', as you can imagine I was concerned about having to push him up the rather steep hills. However I need not to of worried thanks to the apartments location being only 5 minutes walk away from Fisherman's Wharf, restaurants, cafes and car parks it was a dream! Peter's communication throughout the hole process was fantastic! I would stay here again without fail and would highly recommend Peter's wonderful apartment to anyone. If you read this review and decide to book you wont be disappointed, enjoy!

We stayed here with a few friends in april 2011, and should admit that this apartment is worth living in. The kitchen has everything you may need, the main room bursts with electronics, where virtually anything is remote-controlled! Five is the max this apt hosts, be sure to experience even greater comfort when travelling with a family or in a couple!

I visited San Francisco for business reasons and took my family with me. Most important was a stable and quick internet connection, a proper desk and chair and a central location. This apartment offered all of it. Much better than a hotel and for much less money too. I would recommend it for business travel as well as for vacations.

We, a family with two children (8 + 10), were very happy with our experience at Reter's apartment. It was warm and comfortable and plush. Peter and his assistants were very friendly, communicative, and readily available for any troubles we may have had or any help / advice they could provide. The location was great and parking was, surprisingly, not too difficult around the side streets. The amenities were fantastic, the internet connection was strong and fast, and there was plenty of space to relax in comfort. I highly recommend staying at Peter's apartment if you visit SF!

I was staying there in November with friends for some days. We had nothing to complain about. The location was better than explected (less than 5 minutes walk to pier 39). You should buy a week pass to enjoy the cable car to Market Street as the stop is very close (Thanlk you Peter for your advise). The apartment provides all we needed, ktichen with Espresso machine and dish washer :-), shopping is close too as well as many good restaurants (at Watchington Square). We loved the modern apartment and building very much :-) Five stars -absolutely
