Location, Location, Location! Many people consider this flat to be on one of the best blocks in the city. Quiet, tree-lined street with gorgeous homes, yet only 3 blocks from the heart of the Castro or a few minutes walk to the best of the hipster Mission district and the fantastic Dolores Park. Up on a hill, the street has gorgeous SF views of downtown and the Bay Bridge.
Access to the great sights, restaurants, and bars SF has to offer yet has a neighborhood feel. Easy car access to 101 or 280 fwys; Public transportation is a short walk away.

We wished for a happy home, a beautiful base, from which to stroll in the locals' shoes, and be blessed with the bohemia of this brilliant city... This amazing abode was a dream come true! It locates great, it looks great, it lives great. Actually, you can't stay here, sorry, we're moving in permanently...

We really liked the apartment, it was clean, with a very very comfy bed! and the ipad was a total bonus! The location was spot on as we really wanted to see what the castro was like, and it being so close to the mission meant foodie joy every evening. It was pretty steep to get to the property, and i would say if you have any access / mobility issues this place would be tricky, as the routes home from a day out in San Francisco are up long flights of stairs. But then i do feel i got a good work out, and once you're up the views are stunning. If you have a car it's ideal. Amy was really helpful booking a taxi for us to get to the airport on time. A phone may be useful addition to the apartment. Also shower needs fixing - just seemed not to have the pressure.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days on our anniversary trip. The area is gorgeous, the studio is clean, and it was really nice to have a small kitchen. We used the Ipad and the binder of ideas to find some neat restaurants to walk to. We will definitely recommend this spot to anyone heading to San Francisco!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights of our honeymoon. I wouldn't say that it was particularly romantic, but it was clean and we liked the modern style of the apartment. The location is great, right by the Mission and Castro, near several bus and train stops and many good restaurants. It is situated at the top of a hill, but not too crazy. The minor reasons why I did not rate this apartment 5 stars are the small size of the bathroom, low water pressure in the shower, and because we spent a very cold night not knowing that there was a heater! (We found it the next morning: It's the slim white rectangle attached to the wall across from the bed!)

Situated between the Castro and Mission districts (and minutes from both) this apartment is situated in Dolores Heights – one of the nicest areas in San Fran. There are amazing views of the city from both ends of the street, trad SF architecture aplenty and it's near transport links and local restaurants/bars. The apartment itself was light and bright with views of Twin Peaks and the ipad was a great idea and really handy for researching restaurants etc. The owners (who live behind the property) were helpful and although there was some noisy building work being done to the front of the property on three days we were there which was annoying, it hasn't stopped us giving the apartment five stars. Maybe just check with the owners re any planned building work beforehand. In all we loved our San Fran 'Tales Of The City' experience!

This was the perfect home base to explore San Francisco. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood with free parking nearby. We particularly liked the comfortable bed, iPad, and natural light. Amy was also very helpful in giving us options for getting an item back to us.

Thank you for having us at your wonderful, chic apartment and your very quick correspondence. The place was beautiful. We particualy loved the all tile bathroom and the intelligent deisgn choices in the home! The space was perfect for our weekend getaway. Great area! Great Place! Great fun!

What a place to stay in the city! Parking, not an issue. Taxi cab friendly and less than $15 to anywhere you want to go in the City. Comfortable bed and pull out. 2 Great Windows to enjoy the area. Very cozy. Amy and Jeff are the best hosts! Around if you need them, but not intrusive. You will enjoy your stay here!

This is a great apartment to stay in. You're away from the noise of the city, but not so far that you can't get to everything easily. The apartment is a good size with pretty much everything you could need. It is well decorated, stylish and uncluttered with plenty of room to move around. The kitchen is well equipped. Amy and Jeff provided all the information we needed and we had no problems at all. Highly recommended.

Before I write this review, I would like to just say thank amy and Jeff (The owners) for being so cooperative with me. I booked "Unit a" 30 days before my arrival date. Everything went smoothly and all questions were answered within a couple of hours via email.
Unfortunately for me, I was not able to make it to San Francisco due to some unforeseen event. After a few days of dealing with the issue I decided to inform amy about me not coming to San Francisco. After explaining my situation to amy, she was able to come up with a extremely satisfying resolution. I am writing this review as I am going through a difficult time and am glad to say amy and Jeff have managed to make me feel much better. Much love and again thank you so much.

This place couldn't get any better. Amy was so nice corresponding with us so much before our stay, and answering all of our questions. The only downfall was that it was on a huge hill and after walking all day, that gets daunting. But looking forward to a nice, clean place to sit after that hill was a bonus.
Everything was clean, and it had everything we could have needed. It was in the perfect location for our trip. Thank you so much! Highly recommended. -

My 19 year old daughter and I stayed in amy & Jeff's flat for a week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is spotless! Very quiet and adorable! Very close - walking distance to the Castro and the Mission. Many restaurants nearby and only blocks to Philz Coffee! The internet was great and they've thoughfully added a lot of local information to review. Beautiful garden outside your window and gorgeous views of the city on either end of the street and from the apt window. The neighborhood is quite nice. Night time parking on the street was easy - during the week it was a 2 hour limit during the day - but you could park only a couple blocks away with no restrictions. (accept one day a week for a few hours for street cleaning) The bed was amazing! So comfortable! Amy made herself available for any questions and was extremely helpful prior to the trip via email. We'd definitely stay again. Thank you!

There are so many great things about this place. The owners are great people and always available to make sure your stay is comfortable. The space is modern and clean, and the location can't be beat! It's located on a quiet residential street with spectacular views in one of the best areas of San Francisco. It's very convenient to the restaurants and shops in Castro, Noe Valley and the Mission, and it provides easy access to public transportation anywhere you want to go in San Francisco.
